THE BODY IS ATTACHED TO THE FRAME. IT NEEDS TO BE PAINTED.( HE WANTED IT RED)THE CAR HAS A ENGINE THAT WAS REBUILT BY HUGHS ENGINES! THE CAR IS A FIVE SPEED, IT HAS TILT CRUISE AND AIR. IT WAS LAST STARTED ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO WHEN IT WENT INTO STORAGE AWAITING FINAL OUT-COME OF THE DIVORCE! IT HAS A NEW WINDSHIELD, IT HAS A LOT OF PARTS NEW STILL IN THE BOXES.THE WHEELS AND TIRES PICTURED WITH THE CAR ARE BRAND NEW REAL LAMBORGHINI WHEELS AND THE TIRES STILL HAVE THE NEEDLES ON THEM. I ALSO HAVE THE CENTER CAPS TOO. WE COULD HAVE TAKEN A CRUISE FOR A WEEK FOR WHAT WE PAID FOR THE WHEELS AND TIRES. OVER 5K!! I HAVE THE RECIEPTS! THE WINDSHIELD WAS $1200.00! IT HAS LEATHER SEATS AND SOME GLASS FOR THE DOORS. THE DOORS AND THE LID ON THE BACK WITH THE WING ARE JUST PROPPED TO SHOW WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE. I HAVE THE HINGES FOR THE DOORS, AND THE BACK LID. THERE ARE BOXES OF OTHER PARTS THAT ARE NOT PICTURED. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING IS THERE TO FINISH THE CAR. GUYS, THIS WILL MAKE SOMEONE A REAL HEAD TURNER AND PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR TOWN.THERE IS A BIG CAN OF RED DUPONT PAINT THAT HE WAS GOING TO HAVE THE CAR PAINTED WITH ALSO. Lamborghini unveils 50th anniversary Aventador Roadster and Gallardo
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Though hardly moving into Porsche levels of 50th Anniversary celebrations, Lamborghini is taking its own golden jubilee pretty seriously. The Italian company treated the world to a 50 Anniversario version of the Aventador LP720-4 earlier this year in Shanghai. At this year's swanky show at The Quail during Pebble Beach weekend, Lamborghini is showing off the convertible version of the car, the very sultry Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50 Anniversario.
What's more, the company has brought along the anniversary-treated Gallardo LP560-2 50 Anniversario as well, which we officially saw for the first time in China. Hey, a stage full of Lambos is no bad thing in our book.
As the coupe version before it, the 50th Anniversary Aventador has been massaged to make a full-bodied 720 horsepower from its stunning 6.5-liter V12, as well as done up with special edition paint and badging. A subtlety redesigned front splitter will call out the limited run Aventador Roadster to those in the know, too. Lamborghini makes wise investment, sponsors Italian State Police Sports Association
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Boot-shaped shaped Italy has been molded as much by it's Hollywood-fueled history of organized crime, as it has by its footwear-aping borders. One of the more peaceful methods used by that famous mafia is, of course, bribery. While we doubt the Cosa Nostra has planted "made men" in Sant'Agata Bolognese, based on the recent actions of Lamborghini, we do think the company might be bucking for leniency on Italian speeding tickets.
The supercar manufacturer has announced that it will sponsor the Fiamme Oro, the Italian State Police's sports association. Lambo will supply the Italian fuzz's athletes with winter and summer tracksuits, polos, jackets, hats and bags. Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, the company's lifestyle arm, designed the kit, which will feature both the iconic raging bull logo as well as the State Police's logo.
Of course, we jest about Lambo's involvement with the Italian State Police, but this has been a long-running arrangement dating back to the first Gallardo police car, back in 2004. With this new arrangement, and the donation of a new Huracán police car, we feel confident that Lamborghini owners should enjoy free reign on the country's auto stradas.
Santa upgrades to Lamborghini Gallardo, spreads joy in LA
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We understand. It's hard to slow down and really take in the holiday season, so it often comes and goes in a blur. That's especially so in Los Angeles, where almost everything moves fast and you feel like a face in the crowd. Determined to keep up with the fast pace and be noticed, one Santa Clause and his "elf" assistant decided to upgrade their "sleigh" - to a Lamborghini Gallardo (no reindeer needed).
We commend Santa's choice in the beloved Lamborghini and think Los Angelenos did notice him (though we're not sure he wanted to be approached by Freddy Krueger up there). Head below to watch Santa and his helper spread holiday joy with V10-powered goodness.
