You are looking at a one of a kind Mustang GT, this is no ordinary GT by any means. This is a true “Sleeper” car. This has been a very long project car slowly in the making.  Over the past 6 years this car has had about $100,000 invested  to turn it into what it is today. The car runs on 93 octane pump gas and this is a plus to anyone who knows. No race fuel required to get this kind of power.  I will do my best to list most of the items and provide you with the most detail that I possibly can. This car was built to be a “Bragging Rights” car; it has only seen the track a hand full of times. The last time the car was at the track it ran 140MPH at 10.7 seconds.  The gentleman that owns it is 65 and retired and just wanted a toy ,but got hooked and went to the extreme with this car. This car is barely driven and the motor and all the upgrades have less than 30,000 miles on it and even less on the built motor. All work was professionally done by Craven Performance who is local in St. Peters and motor work was done by Modular Mustang Racing based in California.

Here is a breakdown of just some of the goodies.

Motor - Ford V8 bored and stroked to 5.0L all forged components, ARP head studs. Stage 2 Comp Cams, high lift comp Valve Springs, Stage 2 Port and Polish, Manley rods and Pistons, Forged Crank MLS head gaskets .  All engine work was done by MMR (Modular Mustang Racing)

This motor was built to handle 1000HP - $25,000

Supercharger - ProCharger D-1SC with F-1 internals, with custom 3" pipping 22 1/2 pounds of boost, C&L intake manifold.

http://www.procharger.com/models.shtml   - $7000

Intercooler – Procharger – air to air cooled intercooler - $2000

Transmission – TR6060 Ford GT Racing 6-speed manual transmission, Mcleod twin disc clutch, upgraded 2nd Gear Carbon Fiber Blocker Ring Set, Shelby GT500 shifter; one piece drive shaft- $7500

Nitrous – NANO (Nitrogen Assisted Nitrous Oxide) NX Dual nozzle wet system with 100 shot with Max 4 Nitrous Controller and Purge Valve - $4000

Alcohol – Painless Alcohol with dual nozzle Alky Control Meth System - $3000

Injectors – ID1000cc’s and MMR Billet Fuel Rails - $2000

Suspension – (BMR Drag Suspension) Tubular K-Member weight distribution custom kit and Extreme Anti-Roll Bar Kit, Shelby GT500 Double Adjustable Shock/coilovers. - $6000

Fuel System – completely custom Returnless Fuel System by Fuel Lab  http://fuelab.com/  - $3000

Headers – MMR Long Tube Headers - $1000

Exhaust – Full Magna Flow Exhaust - $2000

Paint – Matte Flat Black - $4000

Hood – 3” Cowl Induction Hood - $1500

Wheels & Tires – 18” 5 spoke black powder coated wheels / Rear: 345/35R18 with brand new Mickey Thompson Street Radials / Front: 275/40R18 with new Nitto NT555 - $2500

Gauges – 3 AEM – Air/Fuel & Boost & Oil - $2000

This is the major items that have been done to the car, I cannot list every small thing and gasket that has been replaced and/or upgraded, there is just too much to list. But this will give you an idea of how much has been put into this car. There is virtually nothing left that is stock on the engine, tranmission, suspension and so on. About the only thing that is left stock is the interior, nothing too major there except gauges and purge button.

There is an appraisal on the car and has a Fair Market Value of $55,000. Per the appraisal most everything has been rated a "2" which is right below "1/ Excellent" as almost a pure show car. It cannot be labeled a pure show car because it is driven and was meant to be driven.

I have more pictures of it if you would like to see more feel free to ask.

Florida Man accused of buying Lamborghini with coronavirus relief funds

Tue, Jul 28 2020

We'll preface this by saying that when things work as they're meant to, we don't hear about them. When it comes to the Paycheck Protection Program, created as part of the CARES Act in March to provide loans to businesses to pay employees during the coronavirus lockdown, that means many jobs were saved but we also get stories of honest businesspeople unable to get loans or blackguards abusing the program. This story is the latter. David T. Hines, a 29-year-old Miami man with four businesses, applied for PPP funds in May. He received about $3.9 million in loans, and blew about $500,000 of that before the government began investigating and his bank froze his accounts. Instead of applying for loans to cover monthly expenditures of about $200,000 among his four moving-related companies, the feds say, Hines' four applications through Bank of America claimed combined monthly expenses of $4 million to pay 70 employees. BofA approved three of the four submissions. After the government made its first of three planned deposits of $3,984,557 into Hines' Bank of America account, Hines continued requesting more money, authorities say, ultimately seeking $13.54 million.  The spending began almost immediately after the PPP disbursement. As far as the government could tell by going through Hines' records, none of the money was spent on employees who "either did not exist or earned a fraction of what Hines claimed in his PPP applications.” Instead, officials say, Hines picked up a blue Lamborghini Huracan Evo for $318,497. He paid a person he listed as "Mom" $60,000. Saks Fifth Avenue got another $4,000. In June, $8,500 went to the Graff jewelry boutique, and $7,000 went to Miami's Setai hotel. The disbursement problem has arisen because the Small Business Administration that backs the PPP loans doesn't verify the claims in the applications, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Berger. How did Hines get caught, then? He got into a hit-and-run accident in his blue Lamborghini in July, and Miami police impounded the car. That eventually attracted investigation from no less than six governmental departments: the FDIC-OIG, USPIS, IRS-CI, the SBA-OIG, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection-OIG. The U.S.

Next-gen Lamborghini Aventador to get batteries and active aero?

Sun, Jan 21 2018

Sportscar makers at the pointy end of class flout what appear to be inevitable business decisions the same way their offerings flout what appear to be inevitable physical limitations. Questions we've asked for years include: How long until Ferrari builds an SUV? (Next year.) How long until Chevrolet reveals a mid-engined Corvette? ( Soon?) And how long until Lamborghini must perform hybridised open heart surgery on its nonpareil V12? According to Motor Authority, as part of an interview with Lamborghini R&D honcho Maurizio Reggiani at the Detroit Auto Show, the answer to that last question is likely with the next generation. Reggiani told MA that the next-gen Aventador will definitely come with a V12. After that, the man who makes the bulls said "we must decide what will be the future of the super sportscar in terms of electric contribution," the principle issue of that contribution not being performance, but weight and power delivery. The 4,085-pound Aventador makes scales weep, explaining why Reggiani is so grave about weight implications that even a dual-clutch transmission - a seeming shoo-in for the next-gen car - won't get a pass until it justifies its extra heft over the present, hoary, single-clutch gearbox. Carbon fiber already forms the Aventador's tub, so engineers in Sant' Agata can't evaporate hundreds of pounds with that conversion. Lamborghini's been working on the new car's platform a for more than a year, no doubt with batteries in mind, yet stuffing a load of Triple As into the chassis could turn a battleship into a dreadnought. That formula works for Bugatti, but won't serve Lamborghini nor its clientele. Reggiani isn't opposed to some sort of electric assistance when the next-gen car bows in 2020 or 2021, and at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year said he sees plug-in hybrid tech as the next step, but we won't be surprised if the V12 song remains the naturally-aspirated same at launch. Still, the question of electrification - and turbocharging - remains one of "When?" There's so much writing on the wall that the writing is the wall: two years ago, Reggiani admitted that turbos will get bolted on "sooner or later," as did Lamborghini's commercial officer Federico Foschini last year, the Urus will dial up a hybrid powertrain soon, reports declare the next-gen Huracan will go hybrid in 2022, and Euro 6 emissions aren't getting less stringent. No matter how the coming flagship makes its power, expect more of everything.

Lamborghini teases new Huracan GT3

Tue, 07 Oct 2014

The Volkswagen Group supports many racing programs among its various brands, but somewhat surprisingly, Lamborghini is not chief among them. Not by a long shot. But even Lambo is getting in on the action with the upcoming launch of the Huracán GT3 previewed in this latest video clip from testing at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome.
The new Huracán GT3 will be Lamborghini's first major in-house competitive racing project, building on the Huracán Super Trofeo spec racer and the previous Gallardo and Murciélago racers that were developed by Reiter Engineering (with varying levels of support from the factory).
Expect the Huracán GT3 to be based closely on the production version, but in order to comply with FIA GT3 class regulations, we can expect that it will have to shed a good few hundred pounds off its curb weight - even more if the Squadra Corse wants to keep the 5.2-liter V10 at the same 600-horsepower output it boasts in road-going trim.
