More important then the documented 3177 miles (4877km) from new. This Countach has had perfect storage and meticulous care over its entire 23 year life. We truly believe no better condition example of this rising value collector car exists anywhere. Enthusiast owned from new, this car comes complete with all original books, manuals, tool kit, spare parts package and even the original shipping plastic seat covers. The very few miles this car has been driven have apparently been in excellent weather conditions as this car appears as-new on the underside and the perfect storage environment has kept all chassis and engine compartment components in flawless condition. There is absolutely no corrosion or even oxidation on the aluminum castings or any plating failure on fasteners or other mechanical components. Wheels are pristine and the tires show no evidence of any age deterioration but are in fact 23 years old and caution is to be taken if car is to be driven at any high speed. The interior is fantastic as you see in our pictures with no wear on leather surfaces and perfect carpet and trim. Absolutely no sun fade as car never really sat out for any extended period of time. All electrical components gauges switchgear, radio, etc all function properly. Power operated windows and hidden headlamps work as intended. Exterior appearance is virtually show quality with damage and deterioration free paint and zero damage history from new. We did change this car over to the much more attractive European factory front bumper assembly perfectly painted to match the original US spec crash bumper is included with the sale of this car. At the time of painting and installing bumper we did refinish the lower front chin spoiler to correct a few small chips and a slightly scraped lower edge. The work is impeccable and a perfect color match. The Lamborghini Countach is an iconic car from the eighties that gave the marque international recognition with its ultra radical styling and blistering performance. This is a late production anniversary edition built in July of 1989 as a US spec car and properly titled as a 1990, the final year and most desirable edition of the famed Countach. This car is in "Concourse" condition as it sits and needs absolutely nothing It runs and drives exactly as you would expect. If you are looking for the best possible Countach on the market today and a Red-Tan Anniversary model, this is the car. These cars are on the rise in value and while cheaper examples may be out there, you will find none better than this one. This is an investment grade collector car that will prove to be a wise purchase as the market grows and an example like this will be impossible to find. Additional pictures available upon request.

Lamborghini CEO says Urus headed to production
Wed, 25 Sep 2013It's only a matter of time before Lamborghini is cleared to start producing the Urus sport utility vehicle, and, according to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, that time is expected to be soon, The Detroit News reports.
"We're going low profile now," Winkelmann says. "I can't tell you much on details now, but when we get close to the launch, we will have more." The CEO reportedly said earlier this year that the Urus would start production in 2017, which was backed up by earlier statements made by parent company Audi's CEO, Rupert Stadler, who told Autocar, "Lamborghini has to do it. Because of the need to dovetail into production cycles, we should see the Urus in 2017."
Lamborghini delayed production of the Urus a year ago due to Europe's economic climate while continuing to develop the SUV. But since then China, one of Lamborghini's largest emerging markets, has exhibited a slowdown of high-end luxury item purchases. Winkelmann now reportedly says the biggest opportunities are in "Japan, the Middle East and especially the US."
Party sponsored by Lamborghini tried to airlift yacht into Austin lake for F1 race
Fri, 16 Nov 2012This was the kind of understatement we didn't expect to encounter in the Lone Star State: on our way into Austin to attend the Grand Prix of the Americas, the man sitting next to us on the plane - an Austinite born and raised - said, "There's gonna be a lot of wealthy people here." You know, as if Texas didn't have its fair share already.
Wealthy people need wealthy things to do and not-as-wealthy people to arrange such things for them. Case in point is My Yacht Club, which follows the Formula 1 parade and other rah-rah events around the globe, hosting guests and parties on yachts. In Austin the event group has had to change its schtick; there's no way to navigate one 150-foot motor yacht into Austin's Lady Bird Lake. MYC principal Nicholas Frankl told KUT News, "We spoke to the Army Air Corps. They couldn't lift it." We believe he meant the Army Corps of Engineers, but no matter, they couldn't lift it either.
So MYC has switched to a land-lubbers venue, The Long Center where Ballet Austin, the opera and the symphony perform. In case you readers are worried about how guests will manage without chiseled Italian deckhands in epaulets, not only has Frankl promised that "the elements of decadence and luxury and coolness and exclusivity are all there," guests will get to guzzle 24-karat gold-infused champagne. Because the stars at night just aren't as big and bright without it, obviously.
Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition leaked
Wed, 17 Apr 2013As part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini has created a new version of its Aventador called the LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition, and images of the black and yellow machine have leaked out online ahead of its official unveiling at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Looking past the bumblebee-spec paint, this Lambo will boast 710 horsepower - or 720 metric horses, which explains its mouthful of a moniker - to go along with an estimated 0 to 62 time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 miles per hour. All that speed will be managed by a special carbon fiber aero kit that is reportedly 50 percent more efficient than before.
A report from Carscoops indicate that the Italian automaker will build 100 examples of this anniversary-edition Aventador, though how many of them will be painted in this arresting Giallo Maggio color we don't know. We expect all the details will be flowing forth soon enough, but until then, content yourselves with the high-resolution image gallery above.
