World's largest Lamborghini dealer is in Dubai, because of course it is

Dubai is a place where supercars are so common, even the police drive them. So it's not at all surprising that Lamborghini would open its largest dealership ever in the city. The dealer is three stories tall and has over 19,000 square feet. That's a lot of space for cars, and according to Lamborghini's CEO, Stefano Domenicali, that space is needed, and perhaps other dealers will need to expand. In the release announcing the dealership's opening, he says Lamborghini expects its overall sales to double when the Urus launches this year. This will require more sales and service space. The Dubai Lamborghini dealer isn't just sales and service, though. In the photos above, you can clearly see that a large portion of real estate is dedicated to selling merchandise. Among the trinkets on sale are shirts, hats, keychains, mugs, and model cars. So regardless of your net worth, this dealer has something for you. Leno hops behind the wheel of Adam Carolla's 1968 Lamborghini Islero

The Last time Adam Carolla was on Jay Leno's Garage with his 1966 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, the vintage Italian ran out of gas while out on the drive. Leno has found endless humor in this since, and continues to rib Carolla about not driving his cars enough. With the famous comedian and podcaster's return to JLG, he has switched Italian supercar brands to show off his recently restored 1968 Lamborghini Islero. One of just 125 made, the Islero is a rare piece of Lambo history. The styling is a bit of a departure from the brand's early GTs with a more angular shape and pop-up headlights. The rear is also especially beautiful, with four exhaust outlets poking out like stingers. Underneath the hood is the Italian brand's famous and aesthetically beautiful V12 with four liters of displacement. Take a short ride in this sports coupe and listen to Leno's constant needling of Carolla right up until the very end.

Even though we (meaning car enthusiasts as a whole) don't spend our days driving Lamborghinis, they're somehow a familiar, known quantity. We know we'll be wowed by a Lambo, and we have a pretty fair idea of what the sound and acceleration feel like. We know a Lamborghini is going to be wildly expensive, hopelessly impractical and eye-wateringly thirsty, but the charm that comes with the badge outweighs everything else.
We also recognize that we, as enthusiasts, are in the minority, and that the average joe is likely to be far more blown away by a Raging Bull than the average gearhead. That's what makes this an entertaining video. 60 Minutes explored Lamborghini right in the midst of its fiftieth anniversary, testing a Gallardo at Imola, tearing across the roads of Italy in an Aventador and exploring the Sant'Agata factory where all the magic happens.
