Latest Transformers 4 trailer has Lamborghini getting in on the action
Thu, 15 May 2014If any modern movie franchise defines spectacle, it has to be Transformers. All instantiations are about inviting audiences to sit down, fill up popcorn and turn off their brains because the next 90 minutes are nothing but shiny robots, explosions and loud noises. Oh, and cars... lots of cars. The latest trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth film in the series, has just hit the web, and it checks all the boxes of what makes the films stand out.
The last trailer showed off a plethora of the movie's cars. This new one aims for action and focuses mostly on robots beating each other up in various international locales. Although, there is a great look at the movie's Lamborghini Aventador (pictured above) transforming and even briefly fighting Optimus Prime.
From the previous trailer and other releases, we know that the latest movie features a ton of vehicles, including a new look for Bumblebee, the Chevrolet Camaro, plus a Bugatti Veyron, C7 Corvette, Freightliner truck, Pagani Huayra and many more. Transformers: Age of Extinction is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27, 2014. Scroll down to watch this extravaganza of special effects.
Take a closer look at Lamborghini's outrageous Veneno [w/video]
Wed, 06 Mar 2013We couldn't pass up the chance to take a closer look at the outrageous Lamborghini Veneno. The ultra-limited-production 50th anniversary model looks downright lethal sitting under the lights of the Geneva Motor Show. Regardless of the 750-horsepower V12 lurking at the machine's core, the preponderance of vents, wings, splitters and fins means the hypercar can't help but look like it'll cut you for the fun of it. While most high-performance exotics are as much about what you can't see as what you can, the Veneno gets the ludicrous-loving 12-year-old kid inside of us cackling with joy.
We just can't decide whether this $3.4-million-dollar one-of-three hypercar is the hero or villain of our adolescent daydreams. Maybe both. Click through the detailed gallery for your best look yet at the latest bit of insanity from Lamborghini, and check out its official introduction video below.
2020 Lamborghini Huracan facelift teased ahead of likely reveal this year
Fri, Jan 4 2019The Lamborghini Huracan is getting a light refresh for the 2020 model year soon, as a couple teaser photos preview here. Auto Express originally found the images that were apparently released to the Lamborghini consumer app for Lamborghini owners. These couple photos were reportedly pulled from there — we can't verify them, though, as the app is available for download by invitation only. However, when comparing them to spy shots of a Huracan Spyder we saw in September last year, these look representative of styling elements we saw on that car. Slightly different headlights along with a revised shape for the DRLs are the first thing we see changed from the current car. Lamborghini appears to have done some finessing with the front bumper. It's not quite the Performante, but we can expect it to produce more downforce. The photo from the rear tells us virtually nothing about the car, but the rear looks to be receiving the brunt of the changes according to our previous spy shots. We know it's going to have a more aggressive rear diffuser and feature exhaust outlets in the center of the rear fascia. Those are always cool to see. Besides these small bits here and there, it's unlikely to see any wholesale changes arrive for the base model Huracan. Future versions of this car or new models will pack electrified powertrains, but those might be further down the line than this slight refresh. New tech could be on its way to the interior in the form of infotainment/layout — being on the market since 2015 has dated it. Watch out for a reveal sometime this year for the new Huracan, most likely at a European auto show. View 5 Photos Related video:
