This is a 1994 Jeep Wrangler up for a No Reserve Auction! The exterior of the jeep was  painted a custom orange, which is in decent condition with no fading . There is some rust around the the bottom of the jeep and a little around the fender flares. The jeep has a 3" lift on it. It has a set of all 5 matching wheels. The rims are 15"  Pacer rims which are in great shape. The tires are 33" Mickey Thopmson MTZ, the rear tires are only 3 months old , the front tires have 70% tread and the back spare has 55% tread.The 2 Front wheel hubs have recently been replaced also. It has a Smittybilt soft top that is 5 months old and functions flawlessly.I have took the top off on this jeep numerous times and everything works great.  I removed the front bumper and had intentions of building custom front and rear bumpers for the jeep, I have two 4' pieces of 6"x3" tubing that I purchased for this and If you would like them. It has the 2.4 motor in it which is more than enough power to push the wheels. The engine is in good shape does not burn oil and starts up everytime. The engine has 124000 miles on it but the body of the jeep has 240,000 but does not show it one bit. It could use a new muffler and there is a small exhaust leak around the header but nothing serious. Also could use a new fuel filter next time it gets serviced. The transmission was proffesionally rebuilt 17000k ago, Which is a 5 speed manual. The previous owner taped a small pillow onto the driver seat but the passenger and rear bench seat are in good condition, You can buy a decent set of seat covers on here for less than $50. This is a great jeep for its age and you wont be dissapointed!

Jeep's Wrangler Hellcat and six other sweet concepts for Moab

Thu, Mar 10 2016

Jeep. Wrangler. Hellcat. You read that correctly. And while it's just a concept for this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, it has us dreaming about blasting through the desert at 200 miles per hour. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles released a whole slew of Easter Jeep concepts at an event at the company's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters today. The 50th annual Moab Safari will take place in just a couple of weeks – it's a sort of mecca for Jeep owners, and for the past few years, FCA brings its concepts out to the rocks and trails of Moab to prove that these are more than mere one-off, delicate showcars. Our own Brandon Turkus was live at FCA's reveal event, and he passed along a bunch of notes, in addition to the official stuff from Jeep. Here are some details about each concept, with full photo galleries and videos of each Jeep creation.

2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

There will forever be a soft spot in my heart for the Jeep Wrangler. The last one I owned was red, and, as a 1990 model, had the square headlights derided by Jeep enthusiasts who grew up on the Civilian Jeeps that descended from their General Purpose military ancestors. As a teenager, I couldn't have cared less what shape its headlights happened to be - to me, a Jeep Wrangler represented freedom; a carefree do-it-all machine equally at home with the top stowed away in the summer or with the heater on full blast in the snowy clutches of Old Man Winter. In Dr. Seuss parlance, my square-headlighted Sneetch was just as worthy as any round-headlighted Sneetch.
All that said, I'll be the first person to advise against buying a Jeep Wrangler of any sort for owners who don't plan to use it as its makers intend. There's no good reason to punish yourself with a stiff and springy ride, a loud and somewhat drafty (though generally water-resistant) interior or the poor fuel economy expected of a block-shaped vehicle if you don't enjoy its other, more exciting benefits.
Of course, Jeep has done its darndest over the years to make the Wrangler as civilized as possible while keeping it as capable as federal law will allow. The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition is one of Jeep's latest attempts to attract attention from the upper reaches of the active lifestyle set, and I spent a week with one to see what makes the Moab special.

SEMA crowns Mustang, FR-S as this year's hottest cars in the building

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

After wrapping up the first day of the 2012 SEMA Show, organizers handed out awards for some of the trendiest vehicles on display. Since the whole point of SEMA is to show off new products available in the aftermarket world for use in cars, trucks and SUVs, each year, the show distinguishes the most popular vehicle in various segments. Not surprisingly, this year's Hottest Car and Hottest Sport Compact are the Ford Mustang and Scion FR-S, respectively, while the Ford F-Series brought home the Hottest Truck and the Jeep Wrangler was named the Hottest 4x4-SUV.
More than 2,000 companies are at this year's show, and the display booths represents a "vote" for each car to determing the trendiest vehicles in each of the four categories. It isn't clear if these awards also take cars brought by OEMs into account, but the Mustang and FR-S were definitely well represented by both OEM and aftermarket show versions.
As usual, the OEMs showed up in force at the this year's SEMA Show exhibiting a variety of cars ranging from production-intent cars like the beastly Ford Mustang Cobra Jet to much flashier rides like Scion's Carbon Stealth FR-S.
