Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4x4 10th Anniversary on 2040-cars
Dublin, Georgia, United States
I'm listing my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary. This is my dream Jeep and is perfect in every way. I drove over 900 miles in 2013 to find this particular Jeep w all the options I wanted. The options that Jeep didn't offer, I added. It still has the remaining factory warranty until June 2016 or 36,000 miles. It would b hard to find another 10 A with all these options. I must sell my dream Jeep because of 2 back to back surgeries on my "clutch" foot. I've tried for several months to drive it, but it isn't going to work out. So to my disappointment, I've got to let it go. I'm pricing it way below what I have in it, but am interested in your best offer. This 10th Anniversary Wrangler Rubicon is the apex of the Jeep Wrangler family. It is packed w premium features including a black dashboard and heated leather-trimmed front seats, a black leather wrapped steering wheel, quick silver accents as well as slush mats. This Jeep has Never been abused, mudded or driven like a Jeep. It was my daily driver to work and back. It includes a Mopar Hood Lock, Custom Grill, Front Mud Flaps, Rough Country 1 3/4 lift, LED cube lights, Mopar back-up camera, spacers, custom shelf in back for extra storage, locking box under seat, back auxillary lights, Mopar rock rails, Mopar insulated head liner for top / side (helps with noise and climate control),max tow package, side air bags, heated 10th Anniversary Red leather seats, premium sound system, keyless entry, steering wheel control, heated mirrors, LT 285/75/17E KM2, automatic A/C control, All scheduled maintenance, All records, Excellent condition, Factory GPS system, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Must see, No accidents, Non-smoker, One owner, Satellite radio, Seats like new, Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained. For his last act, Marchionne will outline an EV/hybrid roadmap this week
Wed, May 30 2018MILAN/LONDON — Fiat Chrysler (FCA) boss Sergio Marchionne is expected to outline new plans for electric and hybrid cars in a strategy presentation on Friday, aiming to ensure the world's seventh-largest carmaker remains in the race in the absence of a merger. The 65-year-old will present FCA's strategy to 2022, his final contribution to the company he turned around and multiplied in value through 14 years of canny dealmaking. After failing to secure a tie-up he said was necessary to manage the costs of producing cleaner vehicles, Marchionne needs to show the group can keep churning out profits on its own, even as emissions rules tighten, SUV competition intensifies and worries around his succession abound. Marchionne had long refused to jump on the electrification bandwagon, saying he would only do so if selling battery-powered cars could be done at a profit. He even urged customers not to buy FCA's Fiat 500e, its only battery-powered model, because he was losing money on each sold. But Tesla's success and the need to comply with tougher emissions rules have forced Marchionne to commit to what he calls "most painful" spending. "FCA is way behind rivals in terms of hybrid and electric vehicles and they need to hit the accelerator to convince investors they can close that gap," said Andrea Pastorelli, a fund manager at 8a+ Investimenti. Germany's Volkswagen, Daimler, BMW and U.S. rivals GM and Ford have committed to spending billions of euros each in coming years to try produce profitable cars powered by cleaner fuels. FCA needs to present a clear roadmap, just like Volvo Cars, which ditched diesel from its best-selling XC60 SUV, launched a new electric brand and pledged to shift all brands to hybrid by 2019, a banking source close to FCA said, noting: "The tech divide determines winners and losers in the industry." Marchionne has already said half of the wider FCA fleet will incorporate some elements of electrification by 2022, while luxury marque Maserati will spearhead FCA's electrification drive by making all new models due after 2019 electric. But its plans remain vaguer and less advanced than most big rivals and some investors wonder about the capital required to make vehicles compliant, and what share of spending can go to electrification given FCA's numerous demands.
Jeep Yuntu three-row crossover spied testing on public roads
Tue, Jan 2 2018Jeep is doing very well, especially compared to most other FCA brands. Still, there's a three-row sized hole in the automaker's lineup. In April 2017, the Jeep Yuntu made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. While that plug-in hybrid was just a concept, we now have a second set of spy shots showing that a road-going Yuntu is deep into development. Even with the black and white camouflage, there's no mistaking this for anything other than a Jeep. The new model looks like a larger Grand Cherokee with styling elements cribbed from the new Compass and refreshed Cherokee, though the profile unsurprisingly reminds us of the Dodge Durango (essentially a three-row Grand Cherokee). The thin headlights and taillights have made it over from the concept, though both are toned down for the production version. A three-row Jeep is all but officially confirmed for the US. The real question is what it will be called. We doubt Americans will fall head over heels for a American vehicle named the Yuntu. Reviving the Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer nameplates seems far more likely. We can only speculate on powertrains, but considering the Yuntu concept was a plug-in hybrid, expect some flavor of electrification. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Jeep Wrangler Mojo and Cherokee Dakar teased ahead of Moab Easter Safari
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Jeep has an annual tradition of debuting wild, new concepts during its Easter Jeep Safari, and this year looks to be no different. The automaker has already confirmed two of the six vehicles for 2014 - the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) and Wrangler Mojo. This year's event runs in Moab, Utah, from April 12-20.
There are no official details about either of the concepts yet - Jeep will release more info on the new models next week. Judging by the pictures, though, the Cherokee Dakar appears to be lifted with some knobby off-road tires. The Wrangler Mojo looks to have a bulging hood that might hide a more powerful engine underneath.
Past vehicles at the Easter Jeep Safari have included a Hemi V8-powered Wrangler, a classically inspired pickup and modernized Jeep Forward Control. Since this is the brand's chance to express itself every year, hopefully it has some more sensational concepts up its sleeve. Scroll down to read the little information that has been revealed about this year's models so far.
