Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon with extended warantee
My loss is your gain. With the birth of our 3rd child, it is time to say goodbye to my Wrangler for a bigger SUV. I have loved this car, and with two small children have never taken it off road, just enjoyed trips to the beach with the top down on sunny days. It's in what I would consider very good condition, with minor wear and tear on the interior and some small nicks and scratches on the exterior, but nothing really noticeable. Maintenance on the car has been kept up, even within the last year I have replaced the brakes/rotors, Catalytic converter, O2 sensors, had the fuel injectors serviced, and the 4wd serviced. Also around 75,000 miles I had the front end redone, ball bearings, tie rods, etc. to get rid of shaking at highway speeds. Needless to say, she's been taken care of. I drove my kids to school in this car, so made sure it was always perfect. It has almost new tires on it and I have 5 full size tires that I can include for a replacement set. On top of that, much of the work I've had done has been covered by a waranty that I have on the vehicle. The waranty is good for 36 more months, or up to 121,000 miles(which ever comes first). I can transfer the waranty to the new owner for $100 which I will do upon sale. It is a standard powertrain waranty that covers the engine, drive axle, 4wd, transmission, air conditioning, brakes, cooling system, electrical system, fuel system, suspension, steering and more... I have all the paperwork that I will include with the sale so the new owner knows how to use it and who to contact. It comes with Free Towing, battery service, flat tire repair, lock out service, and emergency fuel delivery.....pretty cool. See the picture for part of the brocure of what is covered in the standard waranty. All in all, she's a good car with a Low Reserve. This will definitely sell, for much less than it's worth for a 4 door Rubicon in this condition with a waranty, but I need to let her go so we can get a bigger car. Thanks. Enjoy!!

Jeep Compass, Patriot will stick around for 2017 model year
Mon, Jun 20 2016The Jeep Compass and Patriot may be getting a little long in the tooth, but Fiat Chrysler Automobiles isn't ready to put them to pasture. At least not yet. According to Automotive News, FCA plans to continue producing both models until the end of this calendar year. That will also take them both into the 2017 model year as the manufacturer prepares to introduce their shared successor. Jeep will likely build a stockpile of Patriots and Compasses to bridge the gap until the new compact Jeep arrives. The move is just one of many FCA is making to trim unprofitable car models and increase crossover production. The Jeep Cherokee is set to move from its current home in Toledo, OH, to the plant in Belvidere, IL, where the Compass and Patriot are built; the same plant was also home to the recently discontinued Dodge Dart. With Cherokee production gone, the Toledo plant in turn is being retooled to increase Wrangler output by 50 percent, including temporary parallel production of both the new model and the existing one. Meanwhile the replacement for the Compatriots, as they're colloquially known together, is expected to debut this summer in Brazil. Production is slated to take place, both in Brazil and in Mexico, starting January 30, 2017, with production of the Compass and Patriot reportedly to continue in Belvidere until December 23 of this year. By that point, the Compass and Patriot will be a full decade old, having been introduced in 2006 as 2007 models. Along with the Dodge Journey, they're the last FCA products still based on the PM/MK platform shared with Mitsubishi. The Japanese automaker still produces several models on the version it calls GS, including the Outlander, Outlander Sport, and Lancer. Related Video:
2018 Jeep Wrangler JL order guide leaks, ordering open at dealers
Tue, Oct 24 2017It's been a big day for Jeep news. Earlier today, a leaked timeline revealed that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL will make its debut sometime in November, likely at either SEMA or the Los Angeles Auto Show. Now, thanks to our friends at JL Wrangler Forums, we have news that an order guide has leaked and order banks are open. That means you should be able to go to a Jeep dealer and place an order for a new Wrangler now. This order guide only covers the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, but it gives us a pretty clear look at the new model. At launch, the Wrangler Unlimited will come in three trims - Sport, Sahara and Rubicon. The only available engine will be FCA's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. Those hoping for a diesel will have to wait a little while longer. All three models will offer both a manual and automatic transmission. While the current model is available in a wide range of colors, initially only five - Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Firecracker Red and Granite Crystal - will be offered. Poring over the guide shows that features line-up pretty closely with the current model. Hardtops are still optional, as is leather on the Sahara and Rubicon. It doesn't look like you'll be able to get a Sport with a body-color top and the dual-top option for the Rubicon is only listed on the order banks with a black hardtop. The Sahara and Rubicon both have optional trailer hitches and the Rubicon has an optional steel bumper. There's lots we still don't know, but look for more news in the next month or so after the new Wrangler finally debuts. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Jeep Renegade configurator switches on
Fri, Jan 30 2015Less than a week after letting loose with pricing information for its 2015 Renegade, Jeep has powered up the configurator for its new compact CUV, giving us our first complete look at pricing for the model's healthy options catalog. If you've messed around with any of FCA's other online configurators, the Renegade's will be immediately familiar. Pick a trim, interior and exterior color, optional extras and packages, and you're done. Of course, we don't write these posts just to let you know about a configurator going live. We do them because it gives us an excuse to mess about with all the different varieties of a new model, and, on occasion, to build something surprisingly expensive or cheap, just to see if it can be done. The Renegade certainly has no issues when it comes to the former. If you want the priciest model, you'll need the $25,995 Trailhawk, which can be priced up to $33,330. We got to that figure by adding the $1,495 Trailhawk Premium Group (heated, powered leather seats, dual-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, 40/20/40 split-rear seats), the $595 Safety and Security Group I (blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic assist and an alarm), the $395 Trailer Tow Group, the $1,395 powered MySky system, a $150 hood decal (which might mean that you can get a Trailhawk without a black stripe), a $1,295 navigation system with satellite radio, a $495 nine-speaker stereo, a $295 push-button starter, a $200 remote starter and a $75 tonneau cover. Will you need all of those options? Not really. But many of them would certainly fall into the "must-have" category for customers. Head over to Jeep's consumer page and mess about with the configurator, and let us know what you think of the full pricing (and what your ideal spec looks like!) in Comments.
