This is a very good running and driving Jeep Wrangler. The jeep has a lot of new replacement parts within the last two years. Battery, starter, alternator, complete distributor assembly, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, reconditioned cylinder head, water pump, radiator, serpentine belt, idler pulley, brake master cylinder, brake drums and rotors, wheel cylinders, calipers, all brake hoses, all steel lines, all u-joints, exhaust, fluid changes on everything that holds fluid, the list goes on and on. Home 4409655620, cell 4402251146, The tub is in great shape for a Jeep this year and the frame is solid, does have a little tiny pin hole starting in the rear pass. side behind the spring shackel, see pic. This Jeep is very, very dependable. I would drive this anywhere. The speedo does not work, it needs a cable and the 4wd actuator is new on the axle but the vaccuum switch that mounts on the side of the trans needs replaced (23.00 at Autozone ). Just never replaced, if I need 4wd, I pop the hood and manual switch the hose to the 4wd and it works great, just can`t actuate from inside, was never a problem for me. 2013 AEV Brute Double Cab
Fri, 11 Jan 2013These are the guys who bring an M777 howitzer to a knife fight. In terms of overall rugged utility, the all-new 2013 Brute Double Cab from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is about as overkill as they come, and we can't seem to get enough of the beasts that this company produces. Unlike most aftermarket firms, always striving to lower cost and increase volume (but at the expense of quality), Michigan-based AEV takes pride in its OEM-quality design, engineering, manufacturing and testing. Everything is as good, or better, than the stuff from the factory, and they have been doing it this way for more than 15 years.
Launched at the recent 2012 SEMA show was the 2013 AEV Brute Double Cab. Its debut marked the company's expansion to a four-door Brute on the newer JK platform (drawing inspiration from the Land Rover Defender 130). I recently spent a few hours with the new truck in sunny Southern California, though unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was limited to pavement-only driving impressions.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
