IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a problem with the autocheck rating. Autocheck is reporting an odometer issue. There is not an issue. I think when you get a smog (in CA) the smog tech imports your mileage into the system but, if you look at Autocheck report the mileage was reported as 9,805 on 6/8/07 and then on 6/20/08 it was reported as 98,045. I spoke with DMV and someone accidentally entered an extra keystroke from 9805 to 98045. DMV told me that they couldnt change the values even though it is very clear that it was a mistake. This mistake is causing Autocheck to trigger both a title and odometer problem.
You are viewing an exceptional 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4X4. This is a beautifully maintained adult driven Jeep. This Jeep has a brand new top and is in excellent condition with custom bumpers, lights and additional equipment.
If you have been searching for that really "right" 1 of a kind 4X4 sahara with super low miles ...look no further---this is it.
Take a close look at the pictures---I have taken a lot in order to accurately describe my Jeep. Here is a list of some of the options:
* Sahara Package----trail rated
* 4X4
* RB1 GPS radio unit with integrated XM radio
* Air Conditioning
* Power Steering
* 6 Speed automatic transmission
* Tilt Wheel
* Cruise Control
* Custom Rims with 33"X 12.5 ProComp Tires
* Overhead interior lights and speakers
* 8" Subwoofer in center console
* Tow Package
* Custom Rear Bumper
* Custom Front Bumper with night running lights
* Custom rear brake lights and clear side light covers
* 1 of a kind
* The Jeep has fresh fluids including differential fluids --both front and rear
KBB has a price "good" condition price of 16,374 and an excellent condition price of 17,124. I am inserting this is a buy it now of 15,950 for a quick and easy sale.
The Jeep is really clean both inside and out---there are minor surface scratches on the outside mainly because its black ---if the car what any other color you probably would not see them---there are no dings or dents. The interior is very --very clean. The only problem with the car is that it has an RB1 GPS radio in the car and if you know anything about these the screens will go out on them and they need to be repaired. My screen is out although the radio and XM radio function. The unit can be repaired for about 169 dollars. I did not want to take it out as the cost of the RB1 is 1800 dollars---so it is an upgrade that you want to keep.
Payment will consist of a 1000 dollar NON-refundable deposit with the balance to be paid in cash or wire transfer. Shipping is the buyers responsibility although I am happy to coordinate with a shipping service. Full payment is required within 3 days of auction end and pickup within 7 days
I will need a phone call prior to anyone using the buy it now option. So Please prior to hitting the buy it now call me----I am requiring this because I am also selling this locally and have the option to end the auction early. I am asking for a phone call because if you look at my rating I have 2 negative remarks due to this same issue. I had a kids backpack and a motorcycle tank bag listed on ebay and while the listing was active I sold these items at a garage sale and the buyers threw a fit and gave me a negative mark. I really dont want another so if you call me prior to hitting buy it now---I can make sure I am not in active negotiation with another local buyer. Toby 619-301-0823
I have a clear title with Pink in hand----please dont hesitate to call me with any questions

Making the Compatriot the Jeep we want - and deserve
Fri, Jul 8 2016If you're one of the hottest brands in the world, and you need to replace two vehicles that sell at a rate of nearly 200k a year, what exactly are you going to do? Do you take the safe route and attempt to mirror what has largely kept you a success thus far, or do you improve on the formula, and better sort your lineup? After 10 years with the Jeep Compass and Patriot, it is time for both to hang up their jackets and go in for the long dirt nap. And what a strange 10 years it's been. Born of the age of Diamler-Chrysler, the "Merger of equals," the Compass and Patriot were brought into this world to shore up sales of Jeep worldwide, pull on the heartstrings of former Cherokee owners, and make sure teenage girls had an affordable crossover to buy in just a few years. As much as I like to throw shade at each model on both subjective and objective basis, I truly find the purpose of each vehicle to be relatively endearing. For less than $22,000, you could (that is, if you could find one) walk out of your local Jeep dealer with a 4x4 crossover, with a manual gearbox, decent all-weather performance, and somewhat respectable fuel economy. This of course ignores the fact that they weren't packaged all that well, based on the outrageously terrible Dodge Caliber, and used all those shared bits and bobs with Mitsubishi that should have been shelved by 2010. Yet, the twins lived on, and on, and on. We've heard stories as far back as 2012 that they weren't long for our world, and then we get news that they're making it through 2017. Just in time for the "Compatriot" to arrive. I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out what Jeep intends to do with the Compatriot. As far as most blogs seem to know, we're getting a Compass and Patriot replacement that is based on the already well-received Renegade. A little bit of a stretch on the chassis will certainly aid in ride quality, and the Grand Cherokee styling cues will give it a much more upscale demeanor. Even the interior has looked very well executed, with a positively huge uConnect screen set in the middle of the dash. Could Jeep actually be trying to take their Compass and Patriot replacement significantly more up the product chain? I certainly hope so. If you pilot your browser over to the Jeep configurators, you might be surprised by how low the base prices are on almost all of their products. Less than $30k for a new Cherokee? A Renegade for just under $18k? What a deal!
Chrysler registers Trackhawk trademark
Wed, 01 Oct 2014There may not be many ways to forecast what an automaker is planning for the future, but there are some. Trademark applications are one of them, and Chrysler has just applied with the US Patent and Trademark Office to protect the name "Trackhawk." The question is, what's it planning on using it for? We don't know for sure, but we can put together an educated guess or two. And one guess is that Jeep will use the name to replace the letters SRT on the performance version of the Grand Cherokee.
How do we figure, you ask? From a number of developments. For starters, the SRT division has been reintegrated into the Dodge brand. Those letters currently appear on only two vehicles from outside the Dodge lineup: one is the Grand Cherokee SRT, and the other is the Chrysler 300 SRT. We've heard ruminations (however unconfirmed) that the latter could be either discontinued or possibly relabeled, and if the same proves true of the GC, the Trackhawk name could serve as a on-road performance counterpart to the Trailhawk label applied to off-road versions of models like the Cherokee and Renegade.
Logical it may be, but it's hardly a foregone conclusion. The Trackhawk name could just as easily be used for a new concept (like the Trailhawk name was in 2007), for another kind of trim level or for something else entirely. In fact we don't even know for sure it'll be used by the Jeep brand specifically, or used at all for that matter. Automakers have been known, after all, to register names they don't end up using.
