My wife and I are the original owners of this vehicle.  It is always garaged and well cared for.  First oil change recently completed.  There have been no service issues with this vehicle.  My wife and I are in our 60's, and have treated this vehicle very carefully and lovingly.  Other than some road chips on the front end and windshield (very small), it is in original showroom condition.  I have added LED headlights, and a left foot dead-pedal for long distance driving.  We have only driven it in the city, and back and forth to our lake home 2 hours away.  This vehicle is special ordered with rare side air bags.  Inquiries welcome.

Here's another look at the next-gen Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Thu, Mar 30 2017

Yesterday, we got a sneak peek at the next generation Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. As you might expect, it looks a lot like the current Wrangler. Really, did you expect anything different? The big news is that the leaked images show that the doors and top are removable, something that was unclear until now. Thanks to our friends at JL Wrangler Forums, we have some pretty new renderings based on those same leaked images. While these aren't official, this should be pretty damn close to what the final production model will look like. While it may be all new, the design is just a revolution of the tried and true formula. Fans might burn down the factory if designers strayed too far. The entire body has been worked over, with changes to the grille, bumper, fenders, and lights. The square tail lights look a lot like those on the Renegade. We keep seeing more and more leaks and spy photos, so an official reveal can't be too far off. In addition to the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, look for the long awaited Wrangler pickup truck. FCA denies report it's pulling Chrysler brand from Japan

Mon, Jun 19 2017

TOKYO - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles denied it had decided to pull the plug on the Chrysler brand in Japan, after local media reported it was planning to stop selling the US cars in the country as early as next year following years of poor sales. "Although FCA Japan has already announced its intention to concentrate its resources on the Jeep brand ahead, no decisions have been made regarding (the) Chrysler brand," the automaker said ion Monday. The Nikkei business daily reported that the European-US automaker, which also sells the Jeep, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Abarth brands in Japan, was close to deciding to throw in the towel on the Chrysler brand, which posted sales of less than 300 vehicles in 2016, having fallen steadily since around 2000 and are about a tenth of what they were a decade ago. FCA sells only one Chrysler model in Japan, the full-size 300s sedan, which is sold at the company's Jeep dealerships. FCA's Fiat brand, which includes smaller models, and its Jeep brand have been growing in the country. Last year they sold around 6,700 and 9,400 units, respectively, making them top 10-selling foreign branded vehicles in the Japanese market. However, foreign cars constitute a small portion of the total Japanese auto market, which is dominated by domestic brands. Last year, 295,000 foreign-branded new cars were sold in the country, roughly one-tenth of total new vehicle sales. Reporting by Naomi TajitsuRelated Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver is a more rugged Trailhawk

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We briefly mentioned the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver that was heading to SEMA last week when discussing the Mopar lineup set to be shown in Las Vegas. At the time, though, we weren't able to dive too deeply into details. But with SEMA in full swing, we were able to sneak over and grab some snaps of one of the first modified Cherokees we've seen. The Cherokee is, after all, kind of an unknown quantity in the modification department, being so new and featuring such a polarizing design. We were quite interested to see what Mopar could come up with.
Starting with the Trailhawk 4x4 and its 3.2-liter V6, the engine is fitted with a Mopar cold-air intake and a new exhaust, although it's not clear what sort of power boost has resulted. We'll admit, we were hoping Jeep and Mopar would get a bit more aggressive with the Cherokee's suspension (has anyone thrown a few-inch lift on the new Jeep yet?), but there's no mention of upgrades beyond the knobby, off-road tires. Those should do some good when the going gets rough, while rock rails are there to protect the Auburn Pearl paint on the body.
Speaking of that paint, it's complemented by an interesting graphics package in contrasting black and Crush Orange. The cabin sports Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with tech-friendly items like a wireless charging system for cellphones and wireless internet.
