This Jeep has been professionally built starting with a Rough Country 4" lift with 35 x 12.50 NITTO Trail Grapplers on 20" Rockstar rims. Front suspension includes dual Rough Country stabilizers. AEV ProCal Module has re-programmed CPU for larger tires and gear ratio for increased MPG. Also added is Airaid cold air intake. A Rough Country stubby winch bumper with Rough Country 9500# winch beef up the front end. I've also replaced the stock fender flares with Smittybuilt steel slimline flares and the side steps with Smittybuilt 3 tube side armor. A top for every seaon is included. 2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.

470,000 Jeep Liberty, Chrysler 200, and Dodge Avenger models recalled for restraint defect
Sat, Oct 14 2017Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Friday it is recalling 470,000 vehicles worldwide to replace a component that may inhibit deployment of the vehicles' active head restraints in the event of a crash. Around 414,000 of those vehicles were sold in the United States. Apparently, "a component common to the modules of certain vehicles may degrade after extensive vehicle use." The recall covers 2012 Jeep Liberty sport utility vehicles and 2012-13 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger midsize cars. FCA says a warning light may alert owners to the problem. The Italian-American automaker said it is unaware of any injuries or accidents related to the recall. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into the issue in June. (Reporting by David Shepardson; Editing by Steve Orlofsky) Related Video:
