Up for sale is my 2011 Jeep Unlimited Sahara (3.8L).  I am the 2nd private owner for this vehicle.  This Jeep comes in the eye grabbing Cosmos Blue.  This is an awesome color and gets a lot of attention.  This color was available in 2011 & 2012 and you just don’t see many around in this color.

**PLEASE NOTE** Before I continue I just want to make it known that I do have a lien/loan on this vehicle thru Chase Bank.  If interested, this transaction can be worked one of two ways.  You can send me the sold price of the Jeep, I will forward the payoff to the bank, you can pickup the vehicle, the bank will send me the title and I will overnite the “signed over” title to you, OR if you have a bank you are working with, your bank can work with me & my bank which could expidite the process slightly.

NOW, back to the Jeep.  I have done many upgrades/mods to this vehicle.  All upgrades and mods are cosmetic and not drive-train related, so you don’t have to worry about it effecting emissions, if you have them in your state.

I had a 4” Rough Country suspension lift installed with dual Rough Country steering stabilizers.  I mounted a set of 5 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As 37x12.50R18 on a set of 5 Moto-Metal 961s. (Wheel Locks included).  Less than a thousand miles on this set.  On the Moto-Metal 961s I had the original inserts painted Cosmos Blue and I also have the chrome inserts as well.

Other exterior upgrades/mods I’ve added to this Jeep are an AEV hood & snorkel kit, polished hood hold downs, chrome door handle & mirror overlays, rock rails w/steps by “nFab”, “Jeep” chrome gas filler unit and a third brake light extension.  I also had the front and rear bumper overlays painted Cosmos Blue.

Interior upgrades are simple ones.  I added the stainless door sill plates, front & rear floor mats and 4 “Jeep” grab straps (one at each door).

The Jeep has all the power options and has the factory navigation unit option.  It’s a touch-screen radio with wireless blue-tooth (Jeep calls it “Uconnect”).  This Jeep has been kept in a temperature controlled garage and has never been smoked in.  Very well cared for and maintained.  2 key fobs and manuals included.

It has the full removeable hardtop with the passenger & driverside removable overhead panels w/storage bags.  ALSO included are a set of 4 “Olympic” Safara doors w/mounted driver & passenger side mirrors.  (SEE PICs)  I also have another set of mirrors for when you want to drive without the Safara doors on.  ALSO included are a set of front 2 piece full black soft doors.  (SEE PICs)  ALSO included is a driver side mirror for when you use these doors.  If you want you can pull them apart and just drive with the bottom portion of the doors on.  So you have many variations on how you want to drive around:  doors on, doors off, Safara doors on, black soft doors on or bottom half of the soft doors on, hardtop on hardtop off, roof panels in or roof panels out.  ALSO included is a roll-around storage unit for your hard or soft doors.  (SEE PICs)  ALSO included are storage bags for your hard doors for when you remove them.

So you can see you are getting a lot of extra items that are included with the price of the Jeep!

2014 Jeep Cherokee dreams of Moab, crawls on stage [w/video]

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

The all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee inched its way onto the stage at the New York Auto Show today, proving that at least the "Trail Rated" version of the SUV is more than just a controversial unique odd fresh face in the mid-size segment. After the short, simulated Moab run by the Trailhawk model, the gray four-door was joined on the stage by a burgundy Limited model - the luxurious highway variant.
As a recap, the all-new 2014 Cherokee rides atop a modular Alfa Romeo-derived platform (we know it from the Dodge Dart) and will be offered in both front- and all-wheel drive models with a choice between a 2.4-liter four-cylinder (rated at 184 horsepower) and a new 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 (developing 271 horsepower) engine. A nine-speed automatic is standard and no less than three different all-wheel drive systems are available.
Of the four different models (Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk), we like the rugged looks and capabilities offered by the Trailhawk the best. Overlook the red tow hooks and check out its more aggressive wheel/tire package, flared fenders, reduced breakover angle and lack of brightwork in our gallery of live images from the New York show. Skid plates and off-road capable tires round out the package. Read all the details in the official press release below.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

Anton Yelchin's family suing FCA over the actor's death

Wed, Aug 3 2016

UPDATE: Anton Yelchin received a recall notification for his Grand Cherokee a week after his death, family attorney Gary Dordick told Variety at a press conference. Dordick called FCA's recall "way too little and way too late." The family of actor Anton Yelchin is suing FCA for negligence and product liability, according to Automotive News. Yelchin was killed in June when his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled away, pinning him against a brick pillar and a gate. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, along with 1.1 million other FCA products, is currently under recall for a poorly designed shifter that may lead drivers to believe the car is in park when it isn't. Vehicles affected by the recall are at risk of rolling away. The recall was issued two months before Yelchin's death on June 19. It's believed that this is the first wrongful death lawsuit related to the recall. Although the shifter recall is linked to hundreds of injuries, Yelchin's death is currently the only fatality. There is a class-action lawsuit currently being filed against the automaker. FCA, in a statement to Automotive News, declined to comment and said it had not been served with a lawsuit. The automaker continues to urge drivers to follow the instructions in their owner's manual and become familiar with the instructions that were included with the recall notice. Related Video:
