2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Sport Utility 4-Door 3.8L

Up for sale is a "2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Sport Utility 4D" which has a black exterior with Everest/Wallace II cloth two-tone medium slate gray interior. It is in immaculate overall condition & has been taken care of extremely well. I am the only owner of the vehicle and there are just 32,160 miles on it. It is very comfortable and has a beautiful touch screen navigation system and Infinity sound system to compliment it. Also included is a hard top roof for the winter season. The vehicle was purchased from Westbury Jeep Chrysler Dodge off the Jericho Turnpike and was only serviced there. The wheels were recently replaced.

NHTSA closes investigation into Jeep Liberty fires

The investigation that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened into the Jeep Liberty in October 2013 has been closed. NHTSA received two (!) complaints about fires starting in the driver's door, thought to be caused by the master power window switch. The initial estimate was that 80,000 Libertys could be roped into a possible recall, but according to a report in the Detroit News the agency examined records for 425,000 Chrysler products that used the same window switch, including the Dodge Nitro and Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
After canvassing 265 warranty claims related to the master switches, NHTSA concluded that the rate of fires compared to the "large population of vehicles" was rather low, and that there was no trend pattern behind the few issues it did find. Perhaps with that, and the closure of the trailer hitch investigation, the Liberty can finally rest in peace.

I got a text message from Editor-In-Chief Sharon Carty one afternoon proclaiming that her new favorite SUV is our long-term 2014 Jeep Cherokee. And she's not alone. I'm not sure if anyone else on staff would go so far as to use the "favorite" descriptor, but after just over a month of honeymooning with our new long-termer, it's safe to say that the Jeep is quickly finding its way into the good graces of a number of Autoblog staffers.
There's good reason for all that praise, too. Thus far, the Jeep has proven itself to be incredibly competent and comfortable for daily life - it's functional, quiet, and packed with a host of amenities that make it easy to live with. It's been wholly trouble-free (with less than 4,000 miles on the clock as of this writing, it ought to be), but even nitpicks have been few and far between.
