2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on 2040-cars

Up for sale in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 6.1L Hemi conversion. The frame-off restoration / conversion was completed by Cleveland Power and Performance in June 2015. The engine and transmission came from a 2006 300C SRT8. The engine was rebuilt during the conversion and has approximately 2,000 mile on it. It has a 6” lift with Bilstein shocks / 35” mud terrain tires and is nicely equipped with factory remote start, cruise control, navigation, hard top and all the other equipment you’d expect in a Rubicon. I recently just replaced the AC compressor with a genuine Mopar compressor, so the AC works perfect. I just replaced the fuel tank with an updated genuine Mopar fuel tank. As you know 2008 Wrangler’s have a problem with blowback when fueling. Not this one! This Wrangler has a current PA inspection through July 2017. This Wrangler needs nothing. It’s fun to drive and with 425hp / 420ft lbs torque; you can imagine how it goes! If you are serious about buying this Wrangler, contact me and I’ll answer any questions you may have. Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is our idea of a restrained Mopar shopping spree
Thu, 07 Nov 2013According to a recent report, the Jeep Wrangler is the most popular SUV for customization, and this is backed up by the fact that the iconic off-roader was just named the Hottest 4x4-SUV at SEMA for the fourth year in a row. Looking for ways to keep its customers in-house rather than going aftermarket, Jeep and Mopar are always teaming to offer exciting new parts and pieces for the JK Wrangler.
Compared to most other Wranglers on display at SEMA - as well as other Chrysler Mopar SEMA concepts - the Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is surprisingly reserved, but should be no less exciting for owners to give their Wrangler a distinctive look. Starting off with an eye-catching copper paint scheme, the Jeep then goes on a Mopar catalog shopping spree with its matte black grille, black beadlock wheels, two-inch lift, Rubicon bumper (with a winch and aero end caps up front) and rocker panel and taillight guards.
Jeep also upgraded the Wrangler's transfer case for low-speed rock crawling (hence the vehicle's name) and cold-air intake for extra measure.
Chrysler highlights Mopar lineup for SEMA
Wed, 30 Oct 2013SEMA is all about aftermarket parts, and in Auburn Hills that all comes down to one name: Mopar. After having previewed its lineup for this year's Vegas tuner expo earlier this month, Chrysler has now revealed what may not quite be its full dossier of modified show cars, but a good portion of them.
All told Mopar is preparing 20 vehicles for display at SEMA this year. Among them you'll find the Ram Sun Chaser, a 1500 Quad Cab show truck kitted out in two-tone orange and black paint, a roof rack for surfboards, onboard shower and convertible tailgate. The white Fiat 500L is called the Adventurer and is modified for a more rugged look that could hint at the upcoming crossover version. The Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver upgrades on the Trailhawk package with everything from roof basket to rock rails. To counterbalance the off-roaders, there's also a modified Chrysler 300S with a deep black paint job, special grille, Varvatos-edition wheels and more.

Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).
