I bought the Jeep in March of 2013 with 44,000 miles on it. I absolutely love this car but I recently got a new job which requires me to be on the road a lot with clients and it is not the best car for conversation and "executive ease." Originally the car came with a hard top but in November of 2013 I was clipped in the rear left bumper and the car tipped on its side. There was no frame damage (most important), but the hard top had cracked, the wheel wells cracked and the right side view mirror was replaced. Additionally nothing happened to the engine, it went completely unharmed. The accident sounds bad but it harmed the physical performance of the car very little. I have added 17,000 miles in the last 16 months and just replaced the started for the engine in consideration for selling it. I will be completely detailed upon purchase.

The soft top is a Best Top NX
I have included 4 new speakers: 2 in the dash and 2 in the role bar. They are far more quality than the stock speakers that came with the car, however I will include the stock speakers for your convenience.
I have added a new stereo and will include the original. The new stereo allowed me to us and AUX cord for my iPhone and also included a USB port for the charging and playing of my iPhone. Also, the audio control setting options within the stereo allowed for better overall quality of the noise; whether with the top up or down.
The car is a 2006 but the wheels are from a 2010 Wrangler. This has extended the wheel base by several inches.

Jeep's Wrangler Hellcat and six other sweet concepts for Moab

Jeep. Wrangler. Hellcat. You read that correctly. And while it's just a concept for this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, it has us dreaming about blasting through the desert at 200 miles per hour. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles released a whole slew of Easter Jeep concepts at an event at the company's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters today. The 50th annual Moab Safari will take place in just a couple of weeks – it's a sort of mecca for Jeep owners, and for the past few years, FCA brings its concepts out to the rocks and trails of Moab to prove that these are more than mere one-off, delicate showcars. Our own Brandon Turkus was live at FCA's reveal event, and he passed along a bunch of notes, in addition to the official stuff from Jeep. China orders Jeep to investigate Wrangler fire risk

It's been some time since we've heard anything about fires related to the Jeep Wrangler (foreign or domestic), but it sounds like the go-anywhere SUV could be in hot water once again in China. Bloomberg is reporting that the Chinese government is ordering Jeep to investigate the matter and, in the meantime, also recommending Wrangler owners to not drive their vehicles in "extreme conditions" due to a "relatively high risk" of catching on fire.
There is no indication as to how many vehicles or which model years are affected, but the previous fire problems in both the US and China - which led to investigations but no recalls - were traced back to automatic transmission fluid leaks. The article, however, does not say what the potential problem is this time around as Jeep has not released a comment on the matter. The official notice, in Chinese, can be found here.

2014 Jeep Cherokee will keep Liberty designation in China... sort of

Chinese buyers will get their first live look at the 2014 Jeep Cherokee during the Shanghai Motor Show, but CarNewsChina is reporting that it will go by a different name - Ziyou Guan, which translates to "Liberty Light." The article states that our Jeep Liberty was never sold in China, but the iconic XJ Cherokee was sold and produced there as the Qinuoji (a phonetic translation of Cherokee).
The new Jeep Liberty Light will be built alongside the Fiat Viaggio (China's Fiat-badged version of the Dodge Dart) at the Guangzhou-Fiat plant, and the two models will share the same powertrains: a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder base engine paired to a five-speed manual or a dual-clutch transmission and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder (the base engine for the US-spec 2014 Cherokee) as an optional engine. It doesn't sound like the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 will be offered in China.
