Up for sale is extremely low mileage, very clean, and completely stock 2004 Jeep Wrangler X 4x4. There has only been 1-Owner since brand new, and it has only 18,896 original certified miles. It has both clean AutoCheck and Carfax Vehicle History Reports. It is all original and hasn't been modified. It was traded into a Jeep dealership in Greenwich CT on a new Wrangler. This Wrangler runs, drives, and looks excellent.

The exterior is in practically new condition. There aren't any dents, dings, or scratches to mention. The entire body is rust free. The undercarriage and frame are very clean as you can see in the pictures. The soft-top is nice and clean.

The interior is in excellent shape as well. The carpets, seats, dashboard, and glass are all very clean. There isn't any wear or tear to mention. It is a non-smoker with no smoke smells, burns, or marks anywhere. All of the electronics are functioning properly.

This Wrangler runs and drives excellent. Everything works as it should. The 4.0L 6-Cylinder engine starts instantly with no smoke and runs great. The transmission shifts nice and smooth and the clutch grabs very strong. The 4-Wheel-Drive and low range work as they should. The Jeep goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls. The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well. The 4 Matching GoodYear Wrangler RT/S tires have around 65-75% tread depth remaining.

I have 1 Key, the 1-owner clean carfax report, the full size spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.

2015 Jeep Cherokee finds a bit more fuel mileage thanks to stop/start and aero tweaks

Just a year after it burst onto the scene, Jeep has already made a pretty substantial addition to its V6-powered Cherokee, which has proven to be an extremely popular seller so far for the brand, adding a new stop-start system for the midsize, off-road-ready CUV.
The addition of stop-start included a few aerodynamic tweaks to the Cherokee's polarizing body, resulting in a wallet-pleasing increase in fuel economy. According to the EPA, the front-drive, V6-powered Jeep will now return 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, up from 19 city and 28 highway. Four-wheel-drive, V6-powered Cherokees, meanwhile, will now return 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, up from 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg.
With 271 horsepower, 239 pound-feet of torque and these newly enhanced figures, it's refreshing to see a larger, naturally aspirated engine that is still able to take the fight to today's crop of small-displacement, turbocharged four-cylinders.

Marchionne: Midsize pickup still not in the cards; Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler could use aluminum

During the Fiat-Chrysler briefings on Tuesday, Reid Bigland, head of Ram Trucks, outlined the new product plans for his brand, including confirmation that an all-new light-duty Ram 1500 will launch in 2017. From there, discussions spun off in two directions, with the main questions being: will Ram build a midsize pickup? And, following Ford's move to extensively use aluminum in its new 2015 F-150, will Chrysler be using this weight-saving material for the next round of its fullsize truck, as well?
"I think there is room for a Ram 1000," Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne (pictured above) told members of the media, saying this is a conversation the automaker has been having internally for several years now. "We've tried this ... we've actually taken it to clinics," Marchionne stated, adding that the "response has been lukewarm."
