Pictures speak for themselves. This is a super clean 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from a non-smoking and pet free home. Hard to find a used Wrangler with leather seats, even harder to find a used Rubicon - and believe me it makes a difference. The car simply sparkles and looks incredible with or without the hard/soft top. The car comes with a hard top, soft top, push bar, KC lights an after-market radio/cd player with a subwoofer (have the original radio too), Mickey Thompson off-road tires, skyjacker lift, step bars, chrome accents on the gas-cap, door hinges, hood clamps and hood hinges. I also have a front/hood mask that I have never put on the car, and I'll toss that in too. No body damage. Obviously it's not a brand new car but the only really noticeable scratches are the few on the hardtop (see driver side and rear photos - scratches can be easily touched-up which I plan on doing) - other than that, body is in excellent shape. Car was inspected this summer and mechanically it's sound. A/C works, Heat works. I'd say the only thing it could use is a wheel alignment (but really no need to do that until the next tire change) and, depending on ride preference, some softer/new shocks. The car has just under 98k miles but I'm still driving it so mileage may be higher than the 99k I listed above. Take a look at Kelley's Blue Book -- my buy-it-now price is below value.

Jeepster name may be used for Fiat-based baby Jeep
Tue, 17 Dec 2013In 1948, Willys-Overland, the forbearers of Jeep, built a vehicle called the Jeepster. It was a funky little thing, designed as a mix of the more rugged Jeeps that came before with what was then a modern car, which arguably makes it the world's first crossover. The name was later revived from 1966 to 1972, which means for Jeep enthusiasts, it has some history.
Now, the modern Jeep brand may revive the Jeepster name for a new product, likely based on Fiat bones, that will slot in at the bottom of the brand's range underneath the soon-to-depart Compass and Patriot. The report comes from Australia's Drive, which cites a dealer source that has seen the vehicle.
That same dealer confirmed there is a link between the Jeepster and the rumored Fiat 500X, and that the former will be available in both front and all-wheel-drive variants. The source also claims both gas and diesel engines will be available, although as this is an Aussie site, we shouldn't take that to mean we'll get a diesel Jeepster in the US.
Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?
Jeep Cherokee won't get diesel until sales of oil-burning Grand Cherokee improve
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Okay Jeep fans, you want more diesel options? Time to step up and prove it. The only way Jeep will offer a diesel powerplant in the Cherokee, according to brand head Mike Manley, is if sales of the Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel nearly double.
Currently, about eight percent of the Grand Cherokees sold feature the 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6. That's simply not enough to warrant the bringing an oil-burning Cherokee to the US market, despite the vehicle's presence in Europe, where it's sold with a 2.8-liter diesel V6.
"Cherokee is slightly different because of its weight and size. When I think about bringing Cherokee diesel here, I would like to see Grand Cherokee diesel get much higher than eight percent," Manley told Automotive News. "It would have to be in mid-double digits."
