Originally from the desert southwest this is a completely rust free Jeep. Intending to keep it, I went through it thoroughly and preformed the following work. All parts used were either OEM Jeep of top quality after market parts. No cheap, off shore parts from chain parts stores. All receipts will be included with sale.

4.0, Auto, 4X4, Alloy Wheels, A/C, P/S, P/B, AM/FM/CD, Factory hardtop and soft top, factory step bumpers.

Drive Train & Suspension: Set Rancho 5000 shocks, steering damper, Moog compensating rear coil springs with new cushions and bounce bumpers, all front end Energy Systems poly bushings, ball joints, front axle u-joints and seals, track bar bushing, tie rods, front wheel bearings and hubs. Primary drive haft u-joints and slip joint flex cover. Both differentials drained, cleaned, checked and refilled.

Brakes: Rear drums, wheel cylinders, brake hose, shoes and all hardware. Front rotors, pads, calipers, hardware, hoses. Brake booster & master cylinder. Complete system flush.

Engine: Motor and transmission mounts, spark plugs, water pump and metal outlet pipe, all hoses, belts, belt tensioner and pulley. Complete system flush. Transmission flushed, new filter.

Misc: OEM drivers seat foam insert, tinted windshield, Misch arm rests, carpet, H2 headlight conversion w/poly carbonate lens. New fog lights. NEW OEM steering wheel. Complete set OEM fender flares and extensions. Under side was pressure washed including inside the frames rails. After drying during several days of summer heat, the cleaned inside of the frames rails received an application of Eastwoods interior frame rust proofing. Also includes five volume set of factory service manuals.

Two Tops: In the summer of 2012 a new Bestop soft top was installed for fair weather driving enjoyment. The side windows zip out with a flip back front half. It was on for four months and removed for winter. Note, this comes with both the factory hardtop and soft top and includes a cart to store the hard top on.

Accident History: During our possession it was involved in two minor accidents both where we were hit at red lights. Both resulted in only cosmetic damage, nothing structural. On the first the front bumper and fog lights had to be replaced and the grille area repainted. On the second it was hit in the rear requiring a new tail gate and spare tire mount. Again, neither of these resulted in any structural damage.

Overall Condition: From 10 feet away it appears new and is exceptionally clean and well cared for. It'd never been beat on. Minor scratches on the sides have been touched up and are visible only in the right light. After preforming all the work listed, it was aligned and tires balanced by a shop that actually knows what there're doing. Cam bolts were installed for proper alignment and it drives and handles perfectly. No pulling and tracks dead straight. This is a very complete package that's an extremely enjoyable driving Jeep. The only reason we're selling it is because following some surgery it's too uncomfortable for my wife to drive. So you'll get the benefit of all my work and investment. Was just serviced and will have a full tank of gas.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DECENT JEEP YOU CAN BEGIN TO DRIVE AND ENJOY IMMEDIATELY THIS IS IT.

Final Toledo Jeep decision may have nothing to do with city's efforts

Mon, Apr 13 2015

Toledo, OH is doing all that it can to keep production of the Jeep Wrangler in its boundaries, but the biggest issue facing the plant may be insurmountable, no matter how desperately the city wants to keep the Wrangler local. The Wrangler is built in a rather interesting manner at the Toledo Supplier Park: Fiat Chrysler only handles the very final assembly of each vehicle, while two other companies, Kuka, a German firm, and Hyundai-Mobis, a member of the sprawling Hyundai empire, produce the body and chassis, respectively. The vehicles are then transferred over to the FCA part of the park, where they're painted and completed. This was, as The Detroit News explains, a convenient arrangement back in 2006 when the supplier park opened. Chrysler, which was still owned by Daimler at the time, arranged for Kuka and Mobis to handle production, saving it a huge sum of money. Both suppliers own their own machinery and buildings and employ their own workers. Now that FCA is a relatively healthy entity, though, there's not a lot of need to be sharing profits with two other companies. "What [FCA boss Sergio Marchionne] would like is to have the advantages of high-capacity utilization, owning that capacity and taking advantage of that for himself versus having a supplier doing some of the things his competitors do internally," David Cole, chairman emeritus at the Ann Arbor, MI-based Center for Automotive Research, told The News. "It really adds another level of complexity to the situation." While Sergio Marchionne is a man that generally gets what he wants, it seems unlikely that either Mobis or Kuka would give up their role quietly. According to Jon Zapf, Mobis North America's chairperson for UAW Local 12, the company "definitely wants to maintain their part of this production process." According to The News, Jeep is likely to announce the location of next-generation Wrangler production in June. Expect to hear much more on this one in the coming months.

FCA delays Grand Wagoneer and next-generation heavy-duty Ram trucks

Mon, Dec 12 2016

The upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer has had a tumultuous gestation thus far. At one point it was essentially confirmed, but later it was rumored to have been cancelled. In that context, the latest report from Automotive News is something of a mixed blessing. According to the publication, the Grand Wagoneer has simply been delayed, as has the next-generation Ram heavy duty truck line. This does not seem to affect the fully redesigned Ram 1500, which was previously reported to have been pushed back slightly to 2019. Automotive News says the information came from unnamed sources at the company. Nothing was said about how long the vehicles would be delayed. The publication also conjectures that FCA is delaying the models to save some money to help cover the company's $7 billion of debt , since re-tooling both the heavy-duty truck plant and eventual Grand Wagoneer plant will be expensive. View 6 Photos We reached out to Chrysler for more information on the subject, but the company wouldn't comment on the report. Even so, we wouldn't be too surprised if FCA is indeed delaying these products. The company has delayed a number of vehicles in recent years. In fact nearly every major FCA truck and SUV, including the Grand Wagoneer and Ram line, were delayed about a year and a half ago. We certainly hope the company doesn't delay the Grand Wagoneer for too long, since it's possible it will have a price tag of over $130,000. The profit margins on an SUV with that kind of MSRP would go a long way to helping to pay down the company's debt. Related Video:

Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.
