You are looking at an 1989 Wrangler that was an original 4 cyl 5sp. I am re-listing at a lower price to sell. This is my bottom dollar and will be listing locally at the same price.

It now has a 4" rough country suspension lift plus an additional 1.5" shackle lift. It is sitting on like new 33x12.50x15 BFG All Terrain TA KO and American Racing Mojave ATX Series Teflon Coated Wheels. The Small block conversion was just completed around 600 miles ago. It is backed by a TH350 and still has the original open differentials in place. All though the rear Dana 35 has been converted to disc brakes. This is a clean YJ that has Smitty Built front seats, rugged ridge rear seat, rugged ridge locking center console, Tuffy overhead CB console, 6 speaker sound bar with lights, Best Top soft top with tinted windows, Best top Bimini top, all new gauges, KC day lighters, KC driving lights, KC hood lights, KC mounted winch lights, KC rear light, 10,000 lb winch, new radiator, new alternator, yellow top battery and safari snorkel. However the snorkel is not hooked up for the small block.

I am selling to complete a new early Bronco project. This will make someone an awesome jeep.

I will reserve the right to end auction early.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for looking

First Jeepster prototype spotted with final, boxy form

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

The long-awaited baby Jeep is getting closer to production, as evidenced by these spy photos. Previously, the only images of the so-called Jeepster saw it wearing a Fiat 500L body (see below), while this new batch of photos show hefty amounts of camouflage. How is that better? Well, it's very likely there's a production body hiding under all that cladding.
While picking out styling details is virtually impossible thanks to all the camo, as our spies point out, this gives us a very sound idea of the Jeepster's final size. It's small, although we'd argue that it's only slightly smaller than the current Jeep Patriot, based on the images of the newest Jeep sitting in front of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
As we reported previously, this little bambino will be built on a Fiat platform, but the styling should be uniquely Jeep - likely to include a somewhat vertical seven-slat grille and round headlights. We can expect to see a production Jeepster, if that ends up being the actual name (Latitude has been rumored, although as that's traditionally a trim level, we imagine there'd be some confusion), when it debuts at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Jeep lays out 5-year plan, including rebirth of Grand Wagoneer and new C-segment offering

Tue, 06 May 2014

Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Machionne presented a five-year plan for the company brands this morning, with Jeep first up on a long day of presentation. Jeep's head honcho Michael Manley wasted no time in laying out what the foreseeable future will look like for what he calls the "lead global brand" of the company.
Big goals for the next half-decade will include expanding the lineup from five nameplates built in one country, to six nameplates build in six countries. That expansion of models will include both a three-row competitor, and, of course, a small vehicle to slot below Cherokee. The company is also seeking to add a whopping 1,300 dealers over the next few years, to sell all this new metal, and has an aggressive goal of doubling Jeep sales by the time 2018 rolls around.
As expected, that first salvo from the off-road brand will be the debut of the much ballyhooed Renegade small crossover in the third quarter of this year. Jeep has already designated that Renegade will get refreshed for the 2017 model year, as well.

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.
