4.2 straight 6cyl 5 speed 92k original miles all done by one driver. FUEL INJECTED !! Not carborated!!!! I bought this jeep from the original owner with 92000 miles about a month ago. So technically it's a two owner but I never registered it. I bought this jeep to use upstate in the snowy months but I found another one that I'd rather use for that purpose. I just couldnt see making this a farm truck ..its way too good of shape. This is one very reliable jeep. The original owner spent thousand$ having this jeep converted to fuel injection at the dealer! Just tap the key and it starts and idles like it was brand new. Clutch feels perfect..transmission shifts smooth. Has brand new tires.I would drive this jeep anywhere.it needs a good polish and wax. If i have time ill try to do it before its sold. Interior is nice no rips or tears.Floor boards are soild under the rugs. Heat works on all speeds as does the radio.  The only rust on the body is on the drivers side front fender where the paint is peeling a little too but that's it! This is a great find for someone who appreciates a well maintained one owner jeep. The original owner said he never off roaded this wrangler. I dont think he ever took the top off! It was a daily commuter for the first half of its life then parked and driven on weekends after that. I understand it was meticulously maintained by port jeff chrysler jeep from day one which is where it was originally purchased. Please remember this is a 24 year old jeep! And it looks great for its age..but please keep its age in perspective. Call with any questions..5 1 6 8 1 9 1 6 9 1 Rich. let me know if you want me to text more pictures. Texting works best...but you can call as well.

Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver is a more rugged Trailhawk

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We briefly mentioned the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver that was heading to SEMA last week when discussing the Mopar lineup set to be shown in Las Vegas. At the time, though, we weren't able to dive too deeply into details. But with SEMA in full swing, we were able to sneak over and grab some snaps of one of the first modified Cherokees we've seen. The Cherokee is, after all, kind of an unknown quantity in the modification department, being so new and featuring such a polarizing design. We were quite interested to see what Mopar could come up with.
Starting with the Trailhawk 4x4 and its 3.2-liter V6, the engine is fitted with a Mopar cold-air intake and a new exhaust, although it's not clear what sort of power boost has resulted. We'll admit, we were hoping Jeep and Mopar would get a bit more aggressive with the Cherokee's suspension (has anyone thrown a few-inch lift on the new Jeep yet?), but there's no mention of upgrades beyond the knobby, off-road tires. Those should do some good when the going gets rough, while rock rails are there to protect the Auburn Pearl paint on the body.
Speaking of that paint, it's complemented by an interesting graphics package in contrasting black and Crush Orange. The cabin sports Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with tech-friendly items like a wireless charging system for cellphones and wireless internet.

Watch this 9-year-old drive Jeep Wrangler off-road [w/poll]

Wed, 28 May 2014

This nine-year-old girl might be better at rock crawling than some people twice her age. But is it worth putting her in danger to do it? According to her father on the Jeep Experience Facebook page, her name is Faith, and she has been offroading with her family since she was two. At nine years old, she's now driving her dad's Jeep over the rocks by herself.
As you can see she's belted in and under her father's direct supervision and guidance. She shows immense confidence for someone her age and follows her dad's instructions on exactly what to do. Although, this could still be a very dangerous situation if something went wrong.
Previously, we saw a similar video with a six-year-old on a motorcycle driving on public roads through the desert. Voters decided by only a six-point margin that the adult should be in trouble for letting the kid ride the bike. Here, we have a slightly older child driving a vehicle off road. Where do you fall in this case? Is it still wrong to hand over control to a child? Let us know in the poll below and scroll down to watch the video.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee gets surprisingly comprehensive update, new diesel power

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Traditionally, automotive journalists can be heard muttering something to the effect of "Geeze, it's about time!" whenever a vehicle's midcycle refresh is revealed. As we routinely see and drive new models many months before the public even claps eyes on them in showrooms - and then go on to tweeze apart their minutia in our daily writings - perhaps some impatience is to be expected. With so much exposure to a given vehicle, it's fair to say we tire of most cars and trucks far more quickly than the average consumer.
The alterations are handsome, if not subtle touches from the "If It Ain't Broke" school of design.
Which is why we're pleased to say "Oh, is it time for that already?" when it comes to the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The current WK2 Grand Cherokee hit the market in 2011 and climbed its way into our hearts with its rugged good looks, go-anywhere capability and surprising refinement. We're not yet tired of its appearance or performance, but even so, we're very glad to see Chrysler giving its flagship Jeep some attention, including a much-anticipated diesel powertrain option and some other economy-minded measures.
