1987 AMC Jeep Wrangler. approximately 156,000 miles. Over $2,400 in clutch and transmission work performed last summer (I have receipts) to ready this AMC Jeep Wrangler for a new owner. The four-wheel drive shifter is the reddish colored knob on the driver's side as seen in one of the pictures. Comes with removable hard top, hard doors and glass windows, new rear glass and lift support strut arms, driver and passenger grab straps, and tow package. Rhino coated interior. Includes an Alpine entertainment system with removable face plate, bluetooth and USB connectivity, and remote. Sound bar. Oversized tires with good tread remaining. The body has scratches and imperfections consistent with the age of the Jeep (see pictures). This is not a show Jeep. Too many vehicles and trying to scale back a few in 2013. Starting bid is substantially below my investment in the vehicle, but someone will get a great AMC Jeep at a deal! Vehicle is listed for sale locally and subject to prior sale. No reserve auction. According to a report from the Automotive News production of the Jeep Cherokee will be moved to another state. To fill the void, Jeep might develop a pickup that would be built alongside Wrangler at the Toledo, Ohio plant. A Wrangler pickup is an exciting prospect [00:00:30] for Jeep fans ever since the Jeep Gladiator concept was first introduced in 2005. Jeep officials declined to comment on its production and future vehicle development plans.
