What you are looking at is the last model year of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I am listing this vehicle for my friend as I know the vehicle pretty well. My shop has done a fair amount of work to this vehicle and I will list that below.
He has spent 60k plus repairing this truck and his loss is your gain!!! The truck has not scene more than a 1000 miles since the repairs have been done!!! He had his fun, now its your turn. I have looked at many of these trucks that are all original with similar miles to this one but have yet to have anything repaired on them. More of a time bomb so to speak. This vehicle has had most of the heavy lifting done! The purpose of this vehicle was as a secondary vehicle. It has spent time driving back and forth from Houston to the lake house. When I first saw the truck, it had the original motor intact with all of the smog equipment etc. It showed about 102000 miles on it. At this point the drive train was taken out and engine, transmission and transfer case were all rebuilt. The motor was de-smogged at this time and a set of headers were put on. The intake , carb and distributor were also upgraded. Overall, the truck is a great driver. Mechanically, it is a very confident vehicle and he has taken it on trips without a problem. The outside cosmetics are fair but in no way is it a show car, just a competent driver level from the outside. If you wanted to, you could go all out from the body standpoint and make it a true show piece. As it stands, you can go and park it somewhere without having a nervous brake down. Here is the list of major parts, summarized from many many pages of invoices. 360 Engine completely rebuilt with upgraded cam and a point higher in compression. 4 barrel intake manifold Holley Carb with fuel rail K and N air cleaner assembly Optima yellow top battery MSD pro billet distributor fan clutch rebuild starter rebuild alternator premium waterpump powersteering pump powersteering box powersteering hoses rebuilt transmission 727 rebuilt transfer case transmission cooler Coated headers Rear seat belts added new tires Michelin ltx 235/75/15 New Carpet Set Full Leather custom seating New Stereo system with Focal k2 speakers $$$ , JL Audio Amp window felt kits A/C condenser and drier new mufflers new front driveshafts Class 3 receiver and trailer controller 2" ball and clip I encourage anyone with questions to call Jeff at 713 838 9700. |

Fiat Chrysler CEO says final merger talks with Peugeot going well
Thu, Jan 23 2020BRUSSELS — Fiat Chrysler's chief executive Michael Manley said on Wednesday that merger talks with Peugeot owner PSA to create the world's No. 4 carmaker are progressing well and he hopes to have a deal within 12-14 months. Speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of an industry meeting, he said he doesn't expect any major obstacles that could delay a final agreement. "Talks are progressing really well," Manley said about negotiations with the French carmaker ahead of a briefing by the European automotive association (ACEA), of which he is president. His comments come a month after the two carmakers agreed to a binding deal worth about $50 billion to combine forces in response to a slowdown in global demand and mounting costs of making cleaner vehicles amid tighter emissions regulations. Manley's timeline for completing the deal by early 2021 is in line with a forecast made by the companies in December. Fiat and Peugeot are now getting into the details of how the merger will work, including choosing which vehicle platforms — the technological underpinnings of a vehicle — will fit which products in a combined company. Because customers in different locations still prefer vastly different cars, there is room for multiple platforms in a combined group, Manley said. "That global platform is an elusive beast," he added. "This concept of a massive global platform in my mind is almost a myth, but that doesnÂ’t mean to say weÂ’re not going to recruit significant volume." Related Video:  Â

2014 Jeep Cherokee: Fall colors tour [w/video]
Thu, Dec 11 2014The Trailhawk's rugged good looks were right at home against the backdrop of changing seasons. Regardless of where you choose to call home, you've probably seen, or at least heard, about the Pure Michigan ads, showing off all the splendor that the Mitten State has to offer. You can make fun of them all you want (several spoofs already exist), but as a native, I fully stand behind the idea that Michigan is a truly gorgeous place. The western coast along Lake Michigan and the northern half of the Lower Peninsula are seriously pretty, and vastly different from the southeastern area that houses big cities like Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, and so on. Beyond that, the Upper Peninsula is the closest you'll get to seeing vast spoils of untouched wilderness, and trust me – it's truly pretty. I've seen the world, but I still feel all warm and fuzzy every time I venture north to experience all the vistas that my own state has to offer. In the autumn months, the changing leaves in Michigan put on quite a display. Sure, this happens all over the world, but we truly embrace autumn in the Wolverine State, and practically every Detroit-based Autoblog staffer has gone on at least one fall colors tour to the northern Lower Peninsula to take it all in. That's exactly what associate multimedia producer Chris McGraw and I did just over a month ago, behind the wheel of our long-term 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The Trailhawk's rugged good looks were right at home against the backdrop of changing seasons, and we opted to capture the whole experience on video for this latest long-term update. The Tunnel of Trees is a picturesque stretch of Michigan's M-119 highway that starts just northeast of Petoskey. As you can see in the video above, the Tunnel of Trees is a picturesque stretch of Michigan's M-119 highway that starts just northeast of Petoskey and follows Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay. This winding road through the woods goes on for nearly 30 miles, largely unobstructed by neighborhoods, fueling stations, shops, or roadside fodder, and spits you out at the famous Legs Inn in Harbor Springs. (Top-notch Polish food, if you're hungry.) From there, you can either continue north toward Mackinac City and the Mackinac Bridge that connects Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas, or you can turn around and take in all the goodness again.
