OK here’s another Jeep from my collection that I will be selling with NO reserve. This Grand Wagoneer has the highest Autocheck score of any Wagoneer currently listed on eBay. It has the lowest true mileage of any listed. I have run Autocheck reports on each one listed and rest assured this is the best currently being offered.  I will provide you a copy of any report just email me your address to Beckken@verizon.net.

OK these trucks are really hard to find with low miles and in good condition, and when you do find one, it’s so expensive who can afford it. The answer is you can. This Jeep is going to be sold no reserve bid so just bid what you want to spend and hope it’s enough.  I do know what this truck is worth so please no offers without research on your end.

This truck is a very sought after color combination, that is very hard to find in this condition.  Baltic Blue is an awesome color when paired with the wood grain siding. While the pictures show it with replacement fog lights on it these will be removed and the proper Marchal 850GT will be put back on it. The paint on the truck is absolutely stunning and looks great in the sunlight. These pictures were taken at sundown so they really do not do the truck justice. All brightwork on the Jeep has been polished to a mirror shine. The original bumpers on these trucks were never a high polish finish and were a clear coated aluminum. These bumpers would oxidize and have a white tint to them. These have been powder coated for lasting durability and no more oxidation, This was an 800 dollar cost alone. And yes the entire bumper front and rear was powder coated. The wood grain was replaced with NOS OEM vinyl, but the trim is aftermarket. Teamgrandwagoneer.com now has the OEM looking trim available if you are so inclined to change it, but it still looks awesome and this is one of the most complimented trucks I have. The roof rack had all the well nut grommets and gaskets replaced to avoid any leaks, this is the reason most of the floor pans are rusted out.  The gas tank skid plate was removed and the rubber isolation mat was cleaned out which is an often overlooked necessity, because if not done this causes fatal frame rot.  The frame and floors in this Jeep are better than anyone could expect, there is zero rust. Barely even surface rust on the frame. This Jeep also has the original aluminum grille shell, not the plastic chrome one some guys put on them for the bling factor. North Carolina is a no front tag state so no front license frame, but if you live in a state that has front plate I will install an OEM plate holder.  The original size 235/75-15 whitewall tires are brand new with the stickers still on them. These tires were selected because they even have the correct width of the whitewall itself. Attention to detail.

OK onto the mechanics of the truck, what’s more to say other than it has 50k on it and runs as it should. All fluids have been changed and full tune up done. All filters are new, and all seals that don’t require engine and transmission removal were replaced. We did do a compression check and all is good with less than 1 percent difference between cylinders.  All this one needs is a new pedal operator sitting in the drivers seat, and this could be you if you are the high bidder.

Now the interior since this is where you will be spending the most time unless you just like staring at this beautiful Jeep. This Jeep has the factory working stereo in it, but if that is not your thing I will have a new aftermarket CD player installed in lieu of the factory stereo. It is finished with the sought after sand leather interior with coordinating corduroy inserts. The leather has no rips tears or cracking. While the carpet isn’t original it is as close to factory as you can get. All carpet panels have bound edges no fraying and create a finished look. The carpet in the truck was over 1000 dollars alone. The factory floor mats will be included in the sale. The carpeted areas on the seats were done with the same carpet to look as factory as possible.  A lot of thought was put into the truck to be a perfect garage ornament and a good weather truck. Sure you can buy this and take it out on the snowy salt covered roads, but why? This is not your old rusted up bonded back together truck; this truck is the needle in the haystack find. The headliner is new and done with direct replacement OE style material. The overhead console and visors were done at the same time for a factory appearing job.  I could go on for days about this Jeep but I am sure you are tired of reading so just bid!!!

OK now to the must add part. A 1000 dollar deposit is required to be made within 24 hours of auctions end, sorry no exceptions. If you need to get a loan to buy this truck please have financing arranged prior to bidding. If you need to ask permission from anyone (i.e: wife, husband, mom, dad, kids, neighbors, or anyone else who might be jealous you own a gorgeous American icon, please do so first. If you have ever been jealous of your friends Grand Wagoneer this is the ultimate payback.  Full payment will be required in 72 hours. No PayPal for final payment. Must be in the form of a Certified Bank check or a bank wire, no exceptions. eBay charges a lot for the auctions so please if you have under 15 positive feedback you MUST contact me prior to bidding.  I have tried to list everything about this Jeep but if you have questions feel free to email me. Truck is available for showing anytime during the auction, but test drives will not be allowed unless you have a letter of credit from your bank stating you can afford to buy it. I am a very easy person to get along with about pickup so just ask.

Sunday Drive: A tale of old favorites and upcoming challengers

Sun, Oct 8 2017

Sedans and crossovers dominated the attention of our readers last week, led by the completely redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. It's the Japanese automaker's flagship, and people are seriously interested in finding out how good the latest Accord is. So interested, in fact, that no other single story came close to the brand-new Accord in Autoblog reader interest. Moving down the list we find the equally new 2018 Buick Enclave. The three-row crossover has a lot to offer a family, especially one looking for a nice, quiet ride. If you're looking for the exact opposite of nice and quiet, but still want enough room for you and your significant others, the Subaru WRX that we tested last week may be the perfect ride for you. Or, if you just want to drive fast and aren't at all worried about space, there's the Camaro SS. See? We offer something for everybody. From there, we look to the future. Who isn't interested in seeing the first fully electric vehicle from Porsche? And who isn't intrigued to see the Mission E testing alongside a gaggle of Teslas? A brand-new Jeep is always a big deal, especially when it's the revival of a classic nameplate like the Grand Wagoneer. And finally, we have something completely different: the Rezvani Tank. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Honda Accord First Drive | Feels like home again 2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude 2018 Subaru WRX Drivers' Notes | Turbo traditionalist 2018 Chevy Camaro SS Drivers' Notes | Demonstrative power, middling interior Porsche Mission E caught testing against Teslas Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps? Dodge Durango SRT vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT | Which should you buy?

Wed, Jul 19 2017

Choice is a good thing. And when it comes to high-performance sport utility vehicles, there are more choices today than ever before to tantalize buyers into showrooms. And why not? Americans love SUVs, and, while there's a stronger push to go green now than ever before in the history of internal combustion, there's still a large contingent of buyers who firmly believe in choosing the biggest, baddest, most powerful powerplant. For those buyers, the Dodge Durango SRT and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT are two of the most potent options. But which one should you buy? They both deliver 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. They both do 0-60 in around 4.4 seconds, and both boast top speed numbers that will handily land you in jail if written on a speeding ticket. Choosing between the two, then, is a bit more nuanced than which is faster. That said, the Jeep is probably a bit quicker at the track than the Dodge. We'd wager than the Grand Cherokee SRT's 5,104-pound curb weight (versus 5,510 for the Durango SRT) and 114.8-inch wheelbase (versus 119.8) will pay small dividends in acceleration, cornering, and braking performance. So, if that's the only category by which you believe these SRT-fettled SUVs should be judged, choose the Jeep. View 17 Photos But let's get real here for a moment. As much fun as it is to wrangle a brutish ute 'round a racetrack – and trust us when we tell you it's a blast – the number of hi-po SUV owners who will ever show up at Bondurant in an SRT-badged 4x4 is probably in the single digits. So, when evaluating which of the two Hemi-powered vehicles is right for you, ultimate lap times are probably of little concern. If you're choosing between these two overpowered players, practicality is probably just as important as performance. And in that category, the Durango SRT comes out on top. For starters, the Dodge is a three-row SUV with six seats, whereas the Jeep is a two-row, five-passenger platform. Fold down the rear bench and there's 84.5 cubic feet of cargo area in the Durango, versus 68.7 in the Grand Cherokee. And if you tow, the Durango SRT's 8,600-pound max rating handily bests that of the Grand Cherokee SRT's 7,200-pound capacity. Ask yourself what's most important: performance or practicality. And then consider the price. The Dodge is nearly $4,000 less expensive than the Jeep.

2014 Jeep Cherokee

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
