No Reserve! One Owner, 4x4, Cd, All Power Options 3.7l V6 Engine, Mint Condition on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with the 3.7 Liter V6 engine. This Jeep Liberty is an all original vehicle
and has no
accident history on the autocheck report. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle. This SUV looks great inside
and out and runs like a new Jeep would.
Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with a New York salvage certificate. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This SUV is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this
vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and
its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The vehicle was
also just professionally detailed inside and out. The tires are like brand new and were purchased recently. They are all
matching Goodyear Wrangler tires. This is a very well taken cared of vehicle
and
it will last
someone forever. This Liberty runs and drives like a new vehicle would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This vehicle also has the powerful 3.7 Liter V6 engine.
So, it can tow more and has much better performance on and off
road.
This Jeep Liberty is
loaded up with all the options. It has the Sport trim package, 4 wheel drive, fog lamps, remote
keyless entry, traction control, upgraded 16 inch alloy wheels with on/off-road tires, hatch mounted 5th alloy spare wheel, luggage rack,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, cruise control, ICE COLD AC, rear hatch wiper, Fold-down rear seats for extra storage, and just too much more to mention. This Jeep has it all. The car comes
with the orignal Jeep remote key fob. We also have the 5th spare wheel mounted to the back of the vehicle as shown, and the jack and tool kit are present and complete as well. The exterior of
the
car likes pristine. The car is absolutely clean with major dents or
scrathces that I have seen anywhere on this vehicle. This vehicle is also 100% rust free! The paint is in perfect condition and it shines
like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. This is a nice all original
vehicle with
no accident history in the
autocheck report. The exterior of this vehicle is in perfect condition in my opinion and I think you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one. This is a keeper all the way. The
interior of the car is also in nice shape. The seats are is fantastic
condition with the exception of a small blemish on the drivers side seat, which you can see in my pics. The blemish is small than a dime. Other than that, the vehicle looks supreme and was very well cared for unlike many Jeeps. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that
great! This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage certificate. If
you would like to
see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are
located outside my local area, I will assist in any
way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions
end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the
closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me
in advance. I do drive this vehicle around daily, so the mileage will be slightly higher upon pickup. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me
at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Frank and
my number is 347-961-1194. Thanks and good luck
bidding!

Jeep CEO details the next Wrangler's push for efficiency
Sun, Jul 10 2016Jeep CEO Mike Manley's brief for the new Wrangler is a simple one – don't mess it up. But in that pursuit of keeping things proper, the affable Englishman has revealed that the brand is trying to walk a fine line while bringing its most iconic model into the 21st century. That's most important on the car's exterior. Like other long-serving American vehicles, the Wrangler is defined by its image. But even with aerodynamics playing a bigger role on the JK's successor, Manley was adamant during a conversation with Automotive News that the boxiness will carry on. "You have to be very careful with the aero of Wrangler, because at the end of the day, it needs to be recognizable as a Wrangler," Manley told AN. "To some extent that restricts you on some of the aero that you can do." Spy photos show a more rakish windshield and fascia, both key moves to lessen the aerodynamic impact of the Jeep's traditionally brick-like design. "But with weight and a number of the changes that we've made, you're going to see that we've really pushed that vehicle forward in terms of its fuel economy." The context of that last sentence points to a weight savings, something Automotive News backs up. While the Wrangler won't go all-aluminum, its frame is going to be lighter and stronger, and it will use aluminum for certain "hang-on" body parts. But this push for weight savings won't extend to the Wrangler's intangibles. It'll still ride on a body-on-frame architecture and feature solid axles at both ends, for example. Combine Manley's comments and AN's reports with news that the Wrangler will use an eight-speed automatic and offer diesel and four-cylinder turbo power in its next generation, and it's clear Jeep is trying to make the biggest strides in decades without alienating its die-hard fans. Jeep will show new Grand Wagoneer to dealers this summer
Mon, Jun 8 2015It's generally accepted that the Jeep Cherokee was the first real midsize sport utility vehicle to make headway into the hearts, minds and driveways of American consumers in 1984. While that SUV was aimed at the mainstream, it could be argued that the vehicle that made the idea of a luxury SUV possible was the seminal Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We've been hearing rumblings of a revived Grand Wagoneer for years, but if a report from Automotive News is accurate (despite the fact that it seemingly contradicts an earlier report from the same outlet), the wait may nearly be over. Jeep plans to show off its new Grand Wagoneer at the upcoming dealer show in Las Vegas in August, and while that doesn't give any real indication of when such a vehicle may make it into the hands of consumers, such news probably at least means the automaker has a finalized design. While we're mostly over retro-inspired cars, we'll happily cast a vote toward a three-row Grand Wagoneer with faux woodie body sides, if anyone cares to tally it... China-FCA merger could be a win-win for everyone but politicians
Tue, Aug 15 2017NEW YORK — Fiat Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne has said the car industry needs to come together, cut costs and stop incinerating capital. So far, his words have mostly fallen on deaf ears among competitors in Europe and North America. But it appears Marchionne has finally found a receptive audience — in China. FCA shares soared Monday after trade publication Automotive News reported the $18 billion Italian-American conglomerate controlled by the Agnelli family rebuffed a takeover from an unidentified carmaker from the Chinese mainland. As ugly as the politics of such a combination may appear at first blush, a transaction could stack up industrially, and perhaps even financially. A Sino-U.S.-European merger would create the first truly global auto group. That could push consolidation to the next level elsewhere. Moreover, China is the world's top market for the SUVs that Jeep effectively invented, so it might benefit FCA financially. A combo would certainly help upgrade the domestic manufacturer; Chinese carmakers have gotten better at making cars, but struggle to build global brands, and they need to develop export markets. Though frivolous overseas shopping excursions by Chinese enterprises are being reined in by Beijing, acquisitions that support the modernization and transformation of strategic industries still receive support, and the government considers the automotive industry to be strategic. A purchase of FCA by Guangzhou Automobile, Great Wall or Dongfeng Motors would probably get the same stamp of approval ChemChina was given for its $43 billion takeover of Syngenta. What's standing in the way? Apart from price (Automotive News said FCA's board deemed the offer insufficient) there's the not-insignificant matter of politics. Even as FCA shares soared, President Donald Trump interrupted his vacation to instruct the U.S. Trade Representative to look into whether to investigate China's trade policies on intellectual property. Seeing storied Detroit brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Ram and Dodge handed off to a Chinese company would provoke howls among Trump's economic-nationalist supporters. It might not play well in Italy, either, to see Alfa Romeo and Maserati answering to Wuhan instead of Turin — though Automotive News said they might be spun off separately. Yet, as Morgan Stanley observes, "cars don't ship across oceans easily," and political considerations increasingly demand local manufacture of valuable products.
