Up for auction is a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4. 1 owner, only 56K miles, very clean, well maintained, no accidents. Vehicle has a 3.7L V6 engine, automatic transmission, power windows/locks, power mirrors, AM/FM stereo w/CD, ice cold A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel, aftermarket remote start, trailer hitch, 16" aluminum wheels, with full size spare. Just had New York State Inspection 2 weeks ago, new battery (1/14), new tires (8/13), water pump (9/12), spark plugs (1/13), transmission cooling lines (4/13), U joints (3/13), new front brakes (6/13), regular oil changes (twice a year), will provide all maintenance receipts to new owner. There are no fluid leaks, and no warning lights on the dash. The drivers side front door has been replaced (my wife was backed into in a driveway) and one small rust spot on passenger rear door (see picture). I believe I have covered everything, if there are any further questions you can call me. Tim 585-703-6669. Vehicle can be seen by appointment. Winning bidder to make $1000.00 deposit via paypal at auction end, with balance due within 10 days of auction end. Vehicle is still being driven daily, so there will be a few more miles on it upon final sale. Vehicle is also for sale locally, and auction may be ended early. I valued vehicle on NADA and it came back at $9625.00 (clean retail), In my opinion this vehicle would be in the "clean" category. My reserve is far less than NADA's clean retail assessment.

Sunday Drive: Rendering the future at Jeep and Ford
Sun, Apr 8 2018Last week brought us quite a wide variety of automotive news nuggets, and judging by the response of our own readership, the Jeep Wrangler pickup truck led the way. It's not expected to hit the sales floor until April of 2019, which means we've all got an entire year to wait, but that just means we have lots of time to anticipate its arrival. And we do so today with a series of renderings that show what the so-called Scrambler may look like in a few different colors. Another set of renderings depicting a hotly anticipated new vehicle follow just behind. The Baby Bronco – will Ford ante up to the retro-inspired table and call it the Bronco II? – will be one size smaller than the regular-grade Bronco, and we think it'll compete with the Jeep Renegade as a subcompact crossover with some real off-road chops. Moving onto some tuners, both old and new(er), we first present a sweet old Dodge Ram pickup truck tuned by none other than Carroll Shelby himself. The blue and silver striped truck looks so period perfect that it stands out as a star even alongside a quartet of vintage Shelby Mustangs with which it will share space at the Bonhams auction in Greenwich, Conn., this June. And finally we turn our attention to the Hennessey Veliciraptor, an absolute behemoth of a truck. Based on the most excellent Ford Raptor, the Velociraptor ups the crazy quotient with six wheels and 600 hundred horsepower. As always, stay tuned to Autoblog this week for all the latest automotive news. UPS employees band together to buy car for teen coworker
Fri, Mar 3 2017A young Alabama man got the surprise of a lifetime this week when his co-workers presented him with his very own car for his daily commute. According to the Daily Mail, 19-year-old Derrick Taylor started working at the Oxford, Alabama, UPS freight center a year and a half ago to support his ailing mother. With precious little money left over after bills and healthcare, Taylor had no money to afford a vehicle so he walked the five miles to and from work every day. Despite numerous offers of rides and loans, the young man was too proud to accept even the slightest help from his co-workers. Desperate to do something for him, Taylor's co-workers raised money in secret and bought him a used Jeep Cherokee off a local lot. 'This is a hard working young man. He makes me emotional. This young man wants to work so bad, he walks to work from way out of town," said James Williams, Taylor's safety instructor. "The group here, we've got some good news for you. Everybody came together and you don't have to walk no more. You've got your own ride. We want you to know we appreciate your hard work." Deeply moved, Taylor stood for a moment and wiped tears away before he walked over to check out the Jeep. "I was overwhelmed with joy. No one had ever done anything like that for me so it made me cry and I'm not really the type to show my emotions," he told the Daily Mail.
