2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 4x4

Please read everything, Text or Call (760)-299-3171 with any additional questions!

This is a SOLID Jeep. It has all of the features of a luxury car, but can out wheel just about any other vehicle off-road! I have put over 10 Thousand dollars in extras and upgrades, along with countless hours of work into this Jeep. I am obviously not expecting to get even close to the money invested into it back. If you know anything about Jeeps and how much it costs to do this kind of work you will agree this is a great deal for you. EVERYTHING WORKS, IT NEEDS NOTHING! Runs and drives flawless. Super Clean inside and out. A/C Blows cold, has an awesome sound system, Engine runs super strong, Automatic transmission shifts smoothly, 4x4 works great. For a lifted Jeep, This thing gets up and goes with its V8 and 4.88 Gears! It is the perfect daily driver and weekend warrior. It will take you anywhere you want to go! This is my daily driver, 90% of the miles I have put on it are highway miles. I get 16-19 mpg on the highway, city I get about 12-15 mpg all depending on my driving. It is Adult driven and very, very well maintained. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles. Air Filter changed/cleaned at every oil change. The Transmission fluid, Transfer Case fluid, Differential Fluid and Radiator fluid was changed every 10,000-15,000 miles.

A complete tune-up was just performed that included new Oil/Filter, Spark Plugs, radiator flush, Transmission fluid & Filter, Transfer Case fluid, and both Differential fluids.

It just passed safety and emissions/smog check with no problems at all!

TONS of NEW parts have been installed on this Jeep within the last 2,000-5,000 miles. It was also just detailed, and it looks great inside and out.

It has a 3 link suspension in the front, and Heavy duty 4 link suspension in the rear with a Welded on truss onto the Dana 44 in the rear. It flexes incredibly well off road and It rides and handles awesome in town, highway, or freeway. You can easily set cruise control at 80 on the freeway and feel safe driving this Jeep.

Here are some features/upgrades I can think of (Please read it all!):

  • 6.5” 3-link Suspension Lift with all brackets, mounts, shocks, etc.
  • 5 35x12.50R17 Super Swamper Interco TRXUS Mud Terrain Tires (2 have 75% tread left, 2 55%)

  • Overhead temp/mpg/mile/service gauge
  • Power Locks
  • Cruise Control
  • A/C Blows Cold
  • Tinted Windows
  • Roof Rack Cross Bars
  • And everything else I forgot to list.

This Jeep has tons of extras and upgrades, I'm sure I'm missing some. These lifted WJ's are rare, not your typical wrangler or cherokee you see 500 of every day, and is much nicer inside! The interior is all leather, the carpet is not in the best shape, but it has rubber floor mats over the top. This is a 15 year old vehicle and It has been used for what it was built for and does have some minor scratches dents and other imperfections, but nothing major. The paint is in pretty good shape. This Jeep was built to not break, and it doesn't. It performs ridiculously well off road and has been a great daily driver. It looks and runs Excellent! This Jeep is definitely a huge head turner, always getting complimented. It is priced fairly, you won't find another Jeep like this for the price, the upgrades alone are worth what I am asking.

I have the CLEAN TITLE in Hand, and in my name.

Dodge revamping lineup with AWD Challenger and lighter Charger

Tue, Sep 6 2016

Dodge's current lineup is aging rapidly. The Charger, for example, is going on 5 years old but its platform dates back to 2006. FCA, according to Automotive News, is working on revitalizing Dodge's lineup with the first of some new models debuting later this year. The report reveals plans for the majority of FCA's brands, but the most interesting bit of information is an all-wheel-drive model for the Dodge Challenger, which is being referred to as the GT AWD. Mopar unveiled the Challenger GT AWD Concept at SEMA last year as a concept, but it looks like the idea stuck. The vehicle is set to make its debut this fall and will lead the way for a wide-body, Hellcat-powered version that will be released in 2017. That model will be called the Challenger ADR. The entire Challenger lineup will be redesigned in 2018, which includes switching over to the lighter Giorgio platform - the same one that underpins the Alfa Romeo Guilia Dodge will also redesign the Charger to accommodate the new Giorgio platform in 2018. A new two-door convertible could debut in 2021, resurrecting the Barracuda moniker. The aging Dodge Durango will get a light refresh in 2017 with the addition of an SRT model, which Automotive News reports will feature a 6.4-liter V8 engine. Other changes are in store for other FCA brands, including the debut of full-size crossover in 2018 for Chrysler, which will be followed by a midsize crossover in 2019. The Jeep Compass and Wrangler will get a redesign for 2017, with the Cherokee getting a light makeover, as well. The Wrangler-based pickup truck, which we recently spotted testing, is set for its debut in 2018, while the Wagoneer will come out a year later. FCA UConnect fiasco could set over-the-air updates back years

Fri, Feb 16 2018

Since cars have become more software dependent, most major automakers have been inching toward enabling over-the-air updates to keep vehicle electronics, ranging from infotainment systems to safety features, current. But there are only two car companies — Fiat Chrysler and Ford —± currently doing OTA updates, and on a limited basis. GM CEO Mary Barra announced last summer that the automaker will launch a new EV architecture and infotainment system capable of over-the-air updates "before 2020." The one exception, per usual, is Tesla. Since the release of the Model S almost six years ago, the maverick EV automaker has made routine OTA software updates a core part of its vehicle platforms and value proposition, and has sent out updates for everything from adjusting ride height to enabling Autopilot, largely without incident. When I've asked automakers why they can't do the same thing, I've heard reasons ranging from running afoul of their dealers (and archiac regulation) to security concerns. Automakers like Ford and General Motors say they want to act like tech companies, which routinely send out OTA updates for a wide range of devices, but overall the car industry still moves at a very cautious snail's pace. And when automakers do try to move faster and take more risks — unlike with a smartphone update, which people bitch about but live with — the consequences can be significant when things go wrong. That's the case with Fiat Chrysler America and its recent public-relations nightmare when an OTA update went awry. The update went out at the end of last week for the Uconnect system in late-model vehicles, and it made head units go into a near continuous reboot, which caused owners to not only lose access to entertainment features, but also critical functions like emergency assistance. Almost immediately, owners took to Twitter to express outrage, and FCA was caught flatfooted. A tweet went out on Monday on the UconnectCares Twitter account that read, "Certain 2017 & 2018 Uconnect systems may experience a reboot every 45-60 seconds. Our Engineering teams are investigating the cause and working towards a resolution.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk revived and leaked

Fri, Mar 18 2016

We'd love to tell you all about the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk you see here. Thing is, we don't really know all that much. That's because, according to our colleagues at Jalopnik, it hasn't quite been officially unveiled yet. But that's probably right around the corner, now that the cat is out of the bag. From the leaked images, we can tell that this Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is a lot like the Trailhawk that was produced as a special edition for the 2013 model year. Even the graphics look similar. Expect to see some aggressive tires to go along with all the best off-road goodies Jeep has to offer. Throw in some red tow hooks to match the contrasting interior stitching, mix together some underbody protection, and you've probably got yourself a Trailhawk. We'll have to wait until FCA decides to unleash the official goods to know for sure what we're looking at, but we doubt there's a supercharged V8 underhood. We do know that's coming, hopefully soon, but this isn't it. So, while we patiently wait for that Hellcat-powered Trackhawk to make an appearance outside the realm of spy shots, enjoy the Trailhawk you see here.
