Up for sale is my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X 4x4 equipped with the Overland wheel package.  Black with black leather interior.  This might be the nicest, most well cared for 2012 Grand Cherokee you will find. Always garage kept.  I am the only owner and have completely babied this car.  It has never been through an automatic car wash.  Not once.  Only hand washed by me once a week with a professional car wash mitt.  I completely detail it.  Wipe the engine, wipe the door sills, even wash the inside of the rims.  Its truly in showroom condition from front to back and inside and out.  There is not a single scratch, not a single chip, not a single door ding, or any swirl marks.  It really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Exterior is extremely shiny and the leather is in like new condition. It has never been in an accident.  100% clean carfax.  Only changed oil with synthetic.

This vehicle has black leather, navigation, power sunroof, keyless entry and remote start.  It has the premium sound system with the subwoofer in the back. I have both sets of floor mats. Carpet and winter.  the rear carpet mats have never been used. Front ones only used in nice weather.  The V6 engine is great on gas and this vehicle is great on the road.  If you have never driven one of these newer generation jeeps its truly amazing how quiet they are on the interstate and how great they drive.  And this one is flawless. It drives absolutely beautiful. Very strait, and no vibrations whatsoever!

It originally came with the 18 inch wheels and tires but I didn't like them and the only way I was going to buy was if the dealer agreed to swap the Overland tires.  Which they did.  This was done at the dealership and everything was calibrated correctly for the in cab tire pressure monitor.

This is your chance to get a Grand Cherokee with all the great options, right colors, right wheels, and has been very well cared for.  Its as good as driving one off the lot.  NADA retails for 31000 without the Overland tires.  Factor those in and you are looking at 32. DONT OVERPAY FOR A LIMITED.  Compare a limited to this vehicle.  This one is everything and more!!

Jeep Begins Fixing 1.56 Million Recalled Grand Cherokee, Liberty SUVs

Tue, Jan 14 2014

Chrysler is just now beginning the big job of fixing 1.56 million older Jeep SUVs seven months after a recall was announced, according to The Detroit News. Jeep Grand Cherokees sold between 1992 and 1998 and Jeep Liberty models sold between 2002 and 2007 are being recalled because the gas tank can leak in the event of a rear-end collision, leading to a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration originally requested the recall of 2.7 million vehicles. Chrysler initially disputed NHTSA's findings and seemed willing to go through a court battle until an 11th-hour deal reduced the number of vehicles involved in the recall. The remaining vehicle owners left out of the recall will receive a "customer service action" notification and may not get fixed. Chrysler says the vehicles are safe and need no repairs. Fixing the 1.56 million Jeeps will cost Chrysler $151 million. NHTSA cited 51 deaths causes by such tank fires. Chrysler plans to install protective trailer hitches to protect the gas tanks, but even the automaker admits the hitches will only provide incremental protection in a low-to-moderate speed rear-end crash. Chrysler recalling 31k SUVs and vans

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Chrysler is issuing recalls covering roughly 31,700 vehicles worldwide due to two separate problems. In both cases the company believes that most of the affected vehicles are either still on, or in transit to, dealer lots.
One recall covers roughly 10,700 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT models from the 2014 model year built between January 16 and April 17, 2014. The SUVs need a software update for the cruise control. It's possible that when the cruise is on and the driver presses on the throttle, the acceleration could last a second after the pedal is released or two seconds for the SRT. Afterward, they return to the speed originally set by the driver.
Chrysler says it isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or even reported incidents of this happening in the real world. Also, in all cases, if the driver presses on the brake, the cruise shuts off. The automaker believes that there are about 6,100 affected SUVs in the US, 950 in Canada, 425 in Mexico and 3,200 outside of North America. The software upgrade will be ready shortly, the company says.

EU finds Jeep Grand Cherokee and Suzuki Vitara break emissions rules

Thu, Jan 23 2020

AMSTERDAM — Fiat Chrysler's Jeep Grand Cherokee and Suzuki's Vitara diesel models both break emissions rules and must be fixed or face a ban on sales across Europe, the Dutch road authority ruled on Thursday. The RDW authority, acting as the reference regulator for across the European Union, said Jeep had developed a software fix and that the authority had ordered the company to recall the model across Europe to roll it out. It added Suzuki had yet to find a credible solution for the Vitara. "Suzuki must come with adequate improvement measures or the RDW will begin the process of revoking its European type approval," the RDW said in a statement, adding it had also started the process of revoking approval for the Jeep Grand Cherokee as a "precautionary measure." Regulators across the world have been testing diesel models since Volkswagen admitted in 2015 that it used illegal software to cheat U.S. emissions tests. The RDW said it had found both the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Vitara had used "prohibited emissions strategies" that led them to emit higher levels of harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) on the road than under testing conditions. Dutch State Secretary for Infrastructure, Stientje van Veldhoven, said in a letter to parliament she would inform prosecutors of the RDW's findings. Fiat Chrysler and Suzuki could not immediately be reached for comment. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
