Like new original owner 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with all the bells and whistles. This has every option except the dvd player w/ screens. Towing package, panorama sunroof, navigation and adaptive cruise control etc. Comes with owners manual, both key fobs and window stickers. We bought this new for my wife last May and used it sparingly until the end of September. We then put it into storage and just took it out now. It has never been driven in rain or snow or dirt. Only reason we are selling it is because we are building a house and are going over budget (go figure). The SRT has 4850 miles on it and it looks and smells new. Basically like buying a new one. No accidents or mishaps. Mobile 1 0-40 oil change with SRT filter done shortly after break in. Billet oil catch can was put on as soon as we got the Jeep home. Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.

Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. NHTSA closes investigation into Jeep Liberty fires
Sun, 16 Mar 2014The investigation that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened into the Jeep Liberty in October 2013 has been closed. NHTSA received two (!) complaints about fires starting in the driver's door, thought to be caused by the master power window switch. The initial estimate was that 80,000 Libertys could be roped into a possible recall, but according to a report in the Detroit News the agency examined records for 425,000 Chrysler products that used the same window switch, including the Dodge Nitro and Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
After canvassing 265 warranty claims related to the master switches, NHTSA concluded that the rate of fires compared to the "large population of vehicles" was rather low, and that there was no trend pattern behind the few issues it did find. Perhaps with that, and the closure of the trailer hitch investigation, the Liberty can finally rest in peace.
