2008 - Jeep Grand Cherokee on 2040-cars
Clayton, Illinois, United States
Selling my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Black with Grey/Brown Leather Interior. This Jeep is in immaculate condition, I have owned the last 4 years, no accidents. I have had oil changed every 3000 miles, I just had new ceramic brakes (pads and rotors) installed on all 4 tires, tires are less than 6 months, I have a new Key Fob, brand new full size spare tire with matching chrome wheel. This has every available option for this year. Very clean vehicle, always garage kept. 64,500 MILES!!! The pictures are from 4 months ago, I took them and decided not to sell, the Jeep is in the exact same pristine condition. I would take new pictures, but weather is currently preventing it. In the pictures that is my kayak rack on top. I have had all check ups performed on the Jeep from Landmark Automotive here in Springfield, IL. In December I had the heater blend doors replaced, the last 2 Cherokee's I have owned needed the blend doors replaced. At the same time I had them go ahead and replace the evaporator for the air conditioner this is another part with Cherokee's that have a tendency to go bad, and they also replace the front differential mounting bracket. My total cost was $1556.12 I have receipt and full print out of work preformed. My Jeep is 100% no dents, the paint is perfect, the interior is extremely good as well. Jeep does Renegade Chinese-style with Zi You Xia design concept
Sat, 19 Apr 2014As we mentioned, Jeep is bringing a quartet of concepts to the Beijing Motor Show this year. Its largest model, the Grand Cherokee, is nowhere to be found, but its smallest is. That, of course, would be the new Renegade, which has been done up as the Zi You Xia design concept.
Taking its name from the Mandarin word (or words) for "rebel," the Zi You Xia takes its inspiration from the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, with a Warm Chocolate Gray paintjob with contrasting dark bronze trim. The roof, grille and mirror caps are color-keyed to match the rest of the exterior, riding on 20-inch alloys in the same dark bronze finish.
Inside it's all Piano Black, Anodized Copper and brown leather with plaid fabric inserts. Scope it out in the high-res image gallery above and the press release below.

Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.
