Selling my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x2. It is in overall good condition with 129,348 miles. I'm selling it because I bought another car. This Jeep was my everyday driver up until 2 months ago. It runs great and drives and rides very smooth. The only thing i have ever had to replace on it was the PCM back in 2010. The check engine light is on due to an O2 sensor but I have replaced that, and just need to have the code pulled. It does need some new tires. I live in Oklahoma so there is some hail damage as you can see in the pics. There is a small crease in the rear bumper for which I have included a pic. The interior is extremely clean and not smoked in. There are no cracks in the dash or funny smells. Seats and everything look extremely clean. I have changed the oil myself every 3-5k since i've owned it. Everything works as far as electronics. A/C blows hard and cold. I honestly would still be driving this car but i wanted to go back to something sporty. I'm setting the price low because I just want to move it fast. It is no way indicative of the condition. Jeep Cherokee finally dealer-bound
Tue, 22 Oct 2013We had our First Drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee last month, but it appears that prospective buyers won't have too much longer to finally get time behind the wheel of the new small Jeep.
Automotive News is reporting that after a two-month delay, Jeep dealers will finally start receiving their first shipments of the new Cherokee, in the next 10 days. A Chrysler spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the Cherokee is indeed on its way to Jeep dealers.
According to AN, about 23,000 Cherokees have been built since production commenced back in June, but potential powertrain issues forced Jeep to make adjustments to the Cherokee along the way. Automotive News says that in order to make sure there are no issues with the Cherokee before it reaches customers, it is testing each vehicle after it rolls off the assembly line at a rented test track near the vehicle's Toledo North Assembly Plant.
GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco
Sun, 03 Mar 2013What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
