I am selling my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD with just under 208,000 miles on it. I purchased this vehicle in 2002 with 26,710 miles on it. It has been a great family vehicle but now needs work that I do not want to put into it. The Jeep has a couple of issues that you need to know about. The radiator has a leak and needs to be replaced. The rear bearings are also in need of replacement. I replaced the front ones a year ago. The engine burns about a quart of oil every 1500 miles. The 10 disc CD unit does not work. Last week the engine started running very rough and acts like it is going to die when I start it. I would not trust it to drive it. It will need to be towed or hauled to your place as it is basically not drivable. The body has a couple of rust spots on the hood. The leather seats and carpet show some wear and age. If you are a handy man and want to put time and some money into this car, I believe that you can get a few years out of it. Car is smoke free. It has never been wrecked or in an accident. Tue, 27 May 2014When we look back at some of the more shocking product launches of recent yeras, the Jeep Cherokee is certainly high up on the list. And we aren't just talking about its off-the-wall, polarizing design.
For starters, it brought back the iconic Cherokee nameplate - something Jeep enthusiasts have coveted for ages. But beyond that, it brought a new evolution for the Jeep brand. After all, the Cherokee is car-based - using the same compact platform that underpins the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200. 2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest.
