For sale is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This Jeep has 146,xxx miles on it and it has been well maintained with the oil being changed every 3,000 miles. The body is in great shape- the rockers are solid which is rare for a vehicle this old. There are no visible rust bubbles or holes anywhere on the body or frame, there is just a slight amount of surface rust present up under the lip of the hood. There are some small paint blemishes such as small stone chips that come with the age of the Jeep.The clear coat is intact and there isn't anywhere where it is peeling. The Jeep has never been driven hard which is also almost unheard of in a Jeep. The interior consists of dark gray leather seats that are both automatic and are in good shape. The driver's seat has slightly more wear than the passenger seat but nothing terrible and the back seats look almost brand new. I bought this Jeep fairly local to me and the owner before me bought it from Florida. The Jeep comes with the tow package including receiver and trailer light wiring harness, a 3" suspension lift from Rough Country, 31" Eldorado tires with 85% tread, Ion Alloy rims, HALO projector headlights, and a set of Jeep factory aluminum rims and General Grabber AT2 tires that have 90% tread left for the winter. The Jeep has a new battery and a new power steering pump, which is all I ever had to replace outside of normal maintenance on the Jeep since I bought it three years ago. It's just time for me to get a newer vehicle even though I hate to see this thing go. Buyer will be in charge of picking up the Jeep or getting it shipped- whichever they choose to do.

Jeep teases pair of Moab concepts early

With the 47th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari coming up at the end of this month, Jeep is preparing to roll out six new off-road-ready concept vehicles. The first two being teased are the Jeep Grand Cherokee "Trailhawk II" concept and the Jeep Wrangler "Slim," and while we have no information on either, we at least get an idea of what they'll look like.
We can't tell why this Wrangler is called Slim, but it has a nice black-and-red paint scheme with a serious off-roading front bumper and five-spoke beadlock wheels. There's even less we can figure out about the Grand Cherokee's Trailhawk II concept except that it appears to be painted up in the same Crusher Orange paint job as the recently introduced SRT Viper TA. We'll likely more of these as well as peeks at the other Moab concepts as we get closet to this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, which will be held March 23 through 31.

Stellantis will enter joint venture with Samsung SDI for EV batteries

SEOUL — South Korean battery maker Samsung SDI Co Ltd and global automaker Stellantis NV have agreed to jointly produce electric vehicle (EV) batteries for the North American market, a person familiar with the matter said on Tuesday. Samsung SDI, an affiliate of South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics, already has EV battery plants in South Korea, China and Hungary, which supply customers such as BMW and Ford. "The two companies (Samsung SDI and Stellantis) have struck a MOU (memorandum of understanding) to produce EV batteries for North America," the person with knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The source spoke of condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. The person said the location of the battery joint venture is under review and will be announced later. In July, Reuters reported that Samsung SDI may build a battery plant in the United States, citing a company source. South Korea's Yonhap news agency earlier reported the two companies plan to build a factory in the United States, citing industry sources. Samsung SDI and Stellantis did not have immediate comment when reached by Reuters. Stellantis on Monday struck a preliminary deal with battery maker South Korea's LG Energy Solution (LGES) to produce battery cells and modules for North America. Shares of Samsung SDI were up 2.6% as of 0300 GMT, versus a 0.6% rise in the KOSPI benchmark index.
