2007 Jeep Compass Limited Sport Utility on 2040-cars
Wytheville, Virginia, United States
Jeep Very nice 2007 2wd Jeep Compass limited for sale. Great Bargain and priced for a fast sale, thousands below the value price and below what we paid only 9 months ago! Exterior is Black, Interior is leather, black and Gray. It is a 5
speed (stick) and drives great! Has an upgraded stereo system, seat
warmers, very nice custom alloy wheels, newer front brakes and rotors, 115V AC 150 W inverter, back seats fold down flat for extra storage if needed, has lots of cup holders, speakers fold down in back for tail gating or for the drive-in, Lots of nice features! Approx.
97,xxx miles. Very nice Jeep. Drives like a sports car. I purchased it
around 9 months ago to downsize from a van. Found out we're expecting
again, so back to a van we go! This is our ONLY reason for selling this sporty, nice, mid-sized vehicle! The Jeep runs great and we've had no
problems with it. It gets EXCELLENT gas mileage (approx. 28 mpg interstate)! No wrecks of any kind! We did add the top cross bars to give it a more off road look.
It's a very nice size and sharp looking Jeep. The Jeep is in very nice condition but is used and does have normal minor scratches and small dents here and there but nothing major. Inside is very nice with only a smaller 4" tear in the outer side of the driver seat. It is not opened exposing any cushion of the seat and could easily be patched. It runs great, very nice looking inside and out and a GREAT BARGAIN!!! Would not be selling if we weren't expecting again! Please feel free to ask any questions regarding this jeep. Serious inquiries only please and absolutely no SCAMS!!! Non smokers but has had a dog in it on occasion. Thank you for looking! |

Chrysler expecting up to 200,000 9-speed transmissions for 3 models this year
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Striving for improved fuel economy, we already knew that Chrysler will begin using a nine-speed automatic transmission in some of its new products this year, but what we haven't known is that volume at which this gearbox will be used. According to Bloomberg, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has been quoted as saying that the automaker expects to sell close to 200,000 units equipped with this new transmission in 2013. Those gear-rich trannies will be spread out across three models, consisting of the redesigned Chrysler 200, the still-unnamed Jeep Liberty replacement and the Dodge Dart.
This transmission should play a pivotal role in making Chrysler vehicles more competitive in their respective segments. Just for comparison, one of the Dart's key competitors, the Toyota Corolla, still uses a four-speed automatic, and a previous report indicates that the next-generation 200 could get up to 38 miles per gallon on the highway, which is better than most non-hybrid midsize sedans on the market. Marchionne says that the new Jeep model is expected during the second quarter of this year, but there is no word as to when the new 200 or nine-speed Dart will debut, but clearly Dodge would like to have the transmission in its compact yesterday. As for that volume figure, it definitely doesn't seem out of reach since the Dart, Liberty and 200 combined for a total of more than 225,000 units in 2012.
How many more gears can we expect in future cars? Probably not many more, since the CEO of transmission-builder ZF, Stefan Sommer, previously stated that nine speeds was the "natural limit" for transmissions.
Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers
Thu, 12 Jun 2014For a certain cohort of young folks, Jurassic Park is a touchstone film from their childhood. Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Also, be sure to stay until the end because The Aficionauto teases a future Jurassic Park-themed vehicle. Scroll down to check out the motor pool.
2015 Jeep Renegade brings the cute
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The jig is up, the noose is out, we finally found it: the Renegade that Jeep has made, retrieved for a bounty.
Okay, enough of that. Meet the Renegade - Jeep's cute little compact crossover that makes its official debut here at the Geneva Motor Show. We recently brought you a massive Deep Dive into what makes the Renegade tick, and we're now getting our first live look at the tiny Jeep, live from its coming out party in Switzerland.
With the exception of associate editor Jonathon Ramsey, who doesn't know what he's talking about, we at Autoblog are kind of smitten with the little Jeep - it's a really unique package, featuring details that really make it kind of special (notice that jerry can pattern in the taillights, for example). Jeep will offer the Renegade with either a 1.4-liter turbo-four (from the Fiat 500L) or a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated four (from the Dodge Dart), with either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic. There will even be a Trailhawk version with four-wheel drive - properly trail-rated, to boot. The Renegade also features a nifty new My Sky removable roof panel system, giving this little cutie sort of a baby Wrangler feel.
