2006 Jeep Commander 65th Anniversary Edition, V8 Flex Fuel, Arizona Orig 1 Owner on 2040-cars
Tucson, Arizona, United States
SUPER LOW RESERVE!! Clean Arizona 1 Owner car with AZ title. Jeep will remain in my garage un-driven until the vehicle is sold. Bid with confidence! Look at my feedback @ 100% I sell high end custom cars and bikes to happy customers everywhere! I am NOT a dealer! I have been ebaying cars from my own collection for years. Family members & friends come to me to sell their rides for them on occasion. I will not put my reputation on the line for junk. I sell things I would put my own wife and 4 children into. Here's the plus side from buying from a Private Seller.........it means NO TAX or Bogus Fees that many people don't calculate into their purchase when buying from dealers online! Those fees can really add up when you think you're getting a good deal. With my auction, if you win, you pay only what you bid for the car, nothing else. AN ARIZONA CAR MEANS NO RUST EVER! THIS IS IMPORTANT WHEN CAR SHOPPING! 65th Anniversary Limited Edition SUV Vehicle has normal or typical wear for a used vehicle that has been family-owned. Car has never been abused, maintenance always done on time and Lucas Oil Products always used. Paint is in very good condition. There are some light scratches here and there but nothing that makes the truck look bad. I tried to show any scratches in photos such as to the right of the left taillight on the liftgate but no dents or door dings. Current on maintenance. No check engine lights, no leaks. Commander was just detailed at the dealership that always does an outstanding job on any car we bring to them. Had the carpets and seats shampooed and 3m Scotch guarded, but with any car 8 yrs old, there is some light spots that did not come out would consider the interior an 8 out of 10. Dash is fine, no cracks. All electronics work, windows, stereo is actually quite awesome sounding. A/C and Rear A/C Blow cold. This is a non-smoker vehicle. Starts, Stops, Drives, and performs great. Runs great and smooth at 75 down the freeway. Would drive this car across the country with no hesitation or concern. My wife and I have owned 2 Jeep Commanders and love these cars! They drive solid and are well-built! This is a surprising favorite model car of ours out of the many that we have owned and driven. I have done my best to describe everything I can about this vehicle, I have nothing to gain by being deceptive, I have more to lose by not disclosing everything. As with all vehicles I sell, no warranty expressed or implied, vehicle sold as is. No I will not allow test drives. Serious car buyers email or call only. We have priced this Commander with a low-reserve, and whomever gets this will not be disappointed. A single owner Arizona truck is the way to go! Real buyers have phones, real legit sellers include phone numbers, mine is: 520-575-2825 lv a msg I will call you back. No scams, I've been around long enough to know better, and can smell bad people quickly. This car IS as clean as the photos look. I reserve the right to end this auction early as I am offering this car for sale locally. This is a legit sale by a PRIVATE PARTY with a notarized Arizona Title. There is NO HIDDEN FEES, THERE IS NO TAX. You will pay for the winning bid and that is it! Someone WILL take this home. Don't have loser’s remorse and let this pass you by, BID NOW!! Bid with confidence, look at my feedback….100%! I sell only great vehicles! I have sold many $20-30K+ custom bikes, boats and rides here on eBay to lots of satisfied people. I am not a flake, I am not a dealer, and I don’t play games! I always go beyond the call of duty to make sure all transactions go through smoothly without stress for anyone. Since I am not a dealer you won't have to pay ridiculous doc fees, taxes, etc that are hidden from other sellers. For those of you that want the car delivered to your door, I do know of a reliable and affordable transport company that can deliver quickly. These are people I trust and have dealt with for many years and they are insured. Canadian borders included. I will not help with the costs involved, but I will assure that this truck gets to you safe. As with all used cars sold, vehicle sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Thank you for reading. Happy Bidding, Good Luck. |

Watch thief steal Jeep Wrangler with laptop
Thu, Jul 7 2016Advancements in technology, especially those in the automotive sector, have made cars safer, easier to drive, and harder than ever to steal. But a recent incident in Houston, TX, reveals that the latest generation of hackers and thieves knows how to use modern tech for their own nefarious devices. A car thief was caught on camera using a small computer to pilfer a 2010 Jeep Wrangler parked in its owner's driveway. The video shows a man entering the Wrangler and after a few minutes on the laptop, driving away in the vehicle. According to the Wall Street Journal, Houston police believe the same method could have been used on four other occasions involving late-model Wranglers and Cherokees. While the short clip looks like something out of a movie, this isn't the first time a Jeep has been hacked. The theft took the pair of thieves roughly 13 minutes from the time the first person opens the hood (not shown) to when the car leaves the driveway. Alarmingly, the Houston police department isn't sure what the laptop is being used for, the Journal reports. A Fiat Chrysler official told the newspaper that the thieves in the Houston incident might be using tools that only dealers have access to, which would allow them to pair another key fob to the vehicle. While that explains how they got into the vehicle, it still doesn't explain how a laptop could be used to get the vehicle running – especially when automakers ( Fiat Chrysler, Tesla, and General Motors) have altered their cars' electronics to reduce hacking. Theft rates have dropped by 96 percent since 1990, according to The New York Times, but recent events show thieves are making their own advances, prompting increased cyber protection efforts from automakers, auto-parts suppliers, and the government. It will come into focus later this month when US Transportation secretary Anthony Foxx, Lyft CEO and co-founder Logan Green, and General Motors' chairman and CEO Mary Barra speak at a cybersecurity summit in Detroit. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee probed by NHTSA for brake problems
Sun, Jun 7 2015Remember how Toyota got in all kinds of trouble over unintended acceleration? Well, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Jeep over unintended braking. NHTSA has announced a probe of 20,000 Grand Cherokee SUVs from model year 2014. Nine complaints have been received, with owners alleging that their Jeeps have issued brake warnings or gone ahead and applied the brakes when no threat was presented. Each complaint alleges that the vehicles have exhibited this behavior repeatedly, leading to a "sudden reduction in vehicle speed in traffic." So basically, a system designed to prevent accidents could actually increase the odds of a collision happening. Speaking to the Associated Press, Jeep spokesperson Eric Mayne said owners whose vehicles are exhibiting this behavior should report to dealers, while adding that the automatic braking/adaptive cruise control systems can be deactivated. Related Video: Scroll down for the official bulletin on the investigation from NHTSA. Date Investigation Opened: JUN 01, 2015 Date Investigation Closed: Open NHTSA Action Number: PE15021 Component(s): FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Manufacturer: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) SUMMARY: The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received nine complaints alleging inappropriate activations of the autonomous braking system in model year (MY) 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. All nine reports alleged unexpected braking incidents preceded by collision imminent brake warnings and resulting in sudden reduction in vehicle speed in traffic. Two complaints reported autonomous braking incidents with no objects on the road resulting in rapid increase in brake force and anti-lock braking system (ABS) activations. The complaints alleged experiencing multiple events at different locations and road conditions. A Preliminary Evaluation has been opened to assess the frequency, scope and consequences of the alleged defect.
