I am selling my jeep cherokee. It has been my daily driver for some time now, well over a year. It runs and drives great. The only reason why I'm selling it is because baby #2 is here and I just need more room.. It is clean, inside and out. I do not have pets and do not smoke. It has power windows, power sunroof (was installed when I purchased the jeep), power locks, and cruise control. The a/c works and blows cold. Mileage may change because I do still drive the jeep. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Now to the terms of the sale... Please ask any and all
questions (big or small) prior to placing a single bid. Study the pictures
closely. I want no one
"surprised" by anything. Please read all questions/answers I post at
the bottom of the listing. Before bidding, think it over and discuss with who
you must. SERIOUS
BUYERS ONLY!!!!! I can't stress that point enough. I don't have time to fool
around with non-paying bidders. I will expect whoever ends up the winner, to
follow through with the transaction. If you have LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACK, please
contact me before bidding or you bid will be CANCELLED!!! I've been burned too
many times. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction end through
PayPal. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end via cash or bank
certified cashier’s check (which must clear before release). Please make sure
you can meet these payment deadlines. Once paid in full, I can store free of
charge, for as long as you need until pick-up. Come drive it home, or if you
choose, I will work with the shipper of your choice. Arrangement and payment
for shipping are YOUR responsibility. I am open to "in person"
inspections of the vehicle PRIOR to the end of auction. As stated earlier, it is not perfect. If perfection is what you require, look elsewhere.
But if you're looking for something nice and dependable, can be used as a
daily driver or weekend cruiser is what you want, then this is the suv. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!! Please remember you are bidding to buy. You're not bidding
for a chance to come look at, kick a tire or two, and then decide whether
you're buying or not. The winning bidder is the buyer. Also, it is sold AS-IS,
with no warranty expressed or implied. Thanks again.

Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
Chrysler delays 2014 Jeep Cherokee media launch
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Chrysler is making the unusual move of delaying the first media drives of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which were slated to start next week in Seattle. And while something like this is a rare occurrence, and one that most of the Autoblog staff can't recall happening this publicly or so close to the event itself, it won't effect the actual on-sale date of the new Cherokee, which is set to hit showrooms in September.
"Over the last couple of weeks during final quality and durability testing, we have discovered the opportunity to further improve powertrain calibration," Chrysler told Automotive News. This marks the second notable delay in the Cherokee's short life, after production was delayed for roughly a month earlier this summer.
Still, we'd rather Chrysler make sure the Cherokee is ready for primetime before flying media in from around the country. It shows a willingness to get things right the first time, rather than offering media drives and then tweaking the car after the fact.
Toledo gets proactive in fight to keep Jeep Wrangler
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Let's make this very plain - the city of Toledo, OH loves its Jeeps. It loves them so fervently that the very rumor of the Jeep Wrangler moving out of its traditional home prompted the city's mayor, D. Michael Collins, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich to hold a weekend conference call with Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne.
"The purpose of this call was for the mayor and governor to gain clarity on Mr. Marchionne's comments last week regarding the possibility of the next generation of Jeep Wrangler being built at a location other than the Toledo North Assembly Plant," a spokesman for the mayor's office told The Toledo Blade.
While no further commitments were made by any party, Collins and Kasich's statement was quite unequivocal about keeping Toledo's unwillingness to let the Wrangler go, saying "the city and its partners will again rise to the occasion to ensure that the new Wrangler is made in Toledo." According to the newspaper, the next step is for face-to-face meetings between officials from Ohio and FCA.
