Words simply don't describe this jeep. Everywhere I park this thing it draws a crowd. I purchased this Jeep about 3 years ago from California. When looking for a CJ7 i focused on buying a COMPLETELY RUST free Jeep. Well this was the one. It needed paint and some minor engine work. I guess i want overboard. I spent over $5000 on the engine / drive train at a classic car mechanic's shop. We rebuilt the carb, new hubs, new exhaust, core plugs, new rear main seal, new clutch full tune up etc. I have the receipts to show and will provide to buyer. Since the day i picked it up from the mechanic it runs unbelievable. You can't hear the engine running it's so quiet. There's 103000 miles on the inline 6. Brand new tires 31" pro comps and skyjacker lift. Everything is new 2 years ago and less than 1000 miles ago.
I then took it to a painter and did a base coat clear coat museum style paint job for $1800. The only body work we did were a few small dents on he hood and we removed the snaps and holes for the soft top. This paint job is first class. This jeep was originally black so under the hood and wells are still original paint. I took the original wheels off and had them powder coated flat black with the original center caps too. We then finished the inside with line-x with Kevelar top coat so it always shines and you can drive it with your shoes off and not get black soot on your feet. New seats, soft dash pad, all new hardware, lights etc. The original radio is in the original dash so it's uncut and unmodified. It truely is the a GEM.
This CJ is a true 10 out 10. I hate to sell her but new baby on the way and she has to go. I have alot more than what i'm asking in this jeep.

Jeep gunning for 1M sales this year
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Jeep CEO Mike Manley would rather soft-pedal the seven-figure prognostication for now, but Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne won't have it, proclaiming in an interview that Jeep will sell one million units worldwide this year. Manley has called that come-hither number "a stretch," the history of recent gains perhaps reason for his caution: in 2011 the brand sold 568,317 units, followed by the record-breaking tally of 701,626, then another record in 2013 with 731,565 units moved.
That kind of gap means everything will need to go magically for Jeep to record a 37-percent increase this year - amazing Cherokee sales, a brilliant launch for the little Jeep arriving in Europe later this year and a heavy wave to raise sales in US, European and Chinese markets. Manley is confident about the prospects in 2015, though, with the Cherokee in full stride, the Fiat-based Jeep on its way to the US and expanded global production. It's not as though Marchionne's prediction for Jeep's 2014 sales is unexpected, since he first made it last year. But even if the number ends up a little short for 2014, there's no doubt it will be impressive.
Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.
Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.
