The pictures speak to it best.  This is a Show Quality CJ7 that has been meticulously restored over the past two year period.  It's a Black Exterior with Black Leather Interior 1986 Jeep CJ7 that has just been completely restored inside and out.

Everything works on this Jeep as it should.  OEM parts and trim replaced non working ones and the list of new or refurbished parts is huge...over $25,000 spent on this Jeep.  This Jeep has the awesome combination of the 4.2L 6 Cylinder Engine and 5-Speed Transmission.

I am buying a 4 door brand new Jeep Wrangler 10th Anniversary Rubicon (fits better for my 3 kids) and so this and other old toys must go to make room and pay for the new Rubicon.  This is a Colorado State Jeep that I purchased a couple of years ago.  It already had very clean no rust body and undercarriage.  I stripped it down to the factory panels and repainted it in its original black color.  The panels on this Jeep still have the factory welding.

This Jeep is an absolute authentic beauty! It comes heavily equipped with OEM luxuries such as Power Steering and Power Brakes, Leather wrapped Steering Wheel, Leather wrapped Grab bar, Center console and the list goes on.

Mechanical and Electrical parts on this Jeep have all been gone through and work as they should. It even has factory working factory Radio, Speedometer, Tachometer and Clock.  A second set of OEM Chrome Wheels will come with this Jeep.  It's weather tight and noise sealed like a vault.

This CJ7 is one of the last AMC Jeeps built and is rarely driven on sunny Sundays and is parked in a temperature controlled garage.  It also comes with a brand new top quality multilayered "Noah" cover.  It also comes with a Bikini Top.

This is a NO RESERVE auction.  I hold a clear title in hand for this Jeep.  Receipts and records of all the parts, service and body work done on this Jeep come with it.  I require $500 deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending.  Full payment is required within 7 days of auction ending.  Please send me your questions if you have any.  Thank you.

Jeep Wrangler to remain in Toledo, get a pickup version

Tue, Sep 1 2015

Production of the Jeep Wrangler is staying in Toledo, OH, and it might be getting a pickup in the near future, according to Automotive News. Meanwhile, Cherokee production is leaving Ohio. The announcement was reportedly made to plant management earlier today. "We found a solution that accommodates a variety of other interests to us because of the way in which we can move some product around," CEO Sergio Marchionne said to Automotive News. A Jeep spokesman declined to comment to Autoblog. Right now the official details about FCA's production plans are still hazy. However, an official announcement is expected when the automaker has a deal with the UAW, which could be by Sept. 14. According to insiders speaking to AN, the Wrangler pickup would join the lineup in 2017 or 2018. While losing the Cherokee doesn't help the Toledo factory, the new pickup should take up some of the slack. It also keeps Wrangler production going in Ohio until the next-generation model launches in 2018. The Cherokee is expected to move to the Sterling Heights Assembly plant in Michigan or Belvidere Assembly in Illinois because they build vehicles on the same platform, AN reports. The future of Wrangler production has been a hot topic at the Toledo plant for the entire year. There was initial speculation that model might leave the factory if it moved to an aluminum body. However, the latest reports offered some hope of the Jeep remaining there. Last week, Autoblog's sources at FCA also said that the Wrangler pickup was coming but couldn't confirm a timeframe. 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango SUVs recalled over brake feel

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Chrysler has announced that it is recalling over 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from several markets over concerns about brake feel under hard braking. The affected models are from the 2012 and 2013 model years, although the actual dates of production aren't available. 18,700 are in the US, while 825 are in Canada, 530 are in Mexico and a further 5,200 outside of North America.
According to a statement, Chrysler was informed of the issue by a component supplier for the Ready Alert Braking system, which primes the brakes in anticipation of an emergency stop. A component in the system was restricting the flow of brake fluid too much.
As Chrysler is quick to point out, the way the brakes functioned was in compliance with regulations and there are no reported cases of drivers losing braking power. Instead, the issue rests with what Chrysler calls a pedal feel that "was not consistent with customer expectations." So it would seem Chrysler is being proactive and fixing a problem not because there's a legal issue at work, but simply because it doesn't feel the way the manufacturer wants it to. Well done.

Key-swapping thieves steal Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from FL dealer

Sat, 09 Nov 2013

Just a few weeks back, we reported on the theft of an Audi RS5 by a pair of creative thieves who managed to swipe the car's keys when the salesperson stepped away from their desk. Now, a Florida dealership is missing a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 after some crooks switched the Jeep's keys with an identical, non-functioning set.
According to the report from local NBC affiliate WPTV, the men went in and spoke to a dealer about the Jeep. They walked outside, took a look at it, started it up and in the process managed to switch out the fobs. After doing their time with the salesperson, the thieves walked back out to the car, got in and drove away.
"I mean obviously, the way it was done, I think that they were professionals and they knew what they were doing," said Arrigo Jeep General Manager Joe Tufo. "The fact that they did it in broad daylight and switched the key fob and it was like it was nothing. That's what makes it unique," he added.
