For sale is a hobby jeep my wife and I purchased with the intentions of fixing up. Most of the repairs have been performed (ie: exterior paint which is matallic apple green, rhino linining interior, mp3 player and speaker installed, main seal replaced, new hoses, new battery installed, new stainless gas tank and locking gas cap installed... and so much more) although the jeep has minor imperfections in regards to paint, it is in great working condition. The jeep was a project that brought my wife and me many happy memories fixing it up; but we want to buy a house and need money for a down payment. We decided selling our jeep was the best option because it is not one of our cars driven daily but more of a weekend toy we enjoy showing off. It needs a good home and would make someone very happy because it has already had so much work done to make it look good. Please refer to the before picture which is the last photo (red jeep) and you will see how this jeep has transformed into a gem from a diamond in the rough.

The sale of our hobby jeep includes a very rare hardtop with professionally tinted windows, side steps, spare tire holder and tire, padded roll bars for those beautiful top free days, and a spare (working) in line 6 engine we purchased as a backup.
Thankfully we haven't needed the spare motor but how many people can say they have a spare engine for their vehicle? Well we do and It could all be yours- So happy bidding.

P.S. Sorry the description is long but as a first time ebay seller I wanted any potential buyers to know as much about the vehicle as possible. If you have any questions about this jeep listing please e-mail us through ebay and we will answer any questions you may have. Also please note in the pictures above, we took pictures of the working spare engine removed from a friends cj5 that took out the in line 6 to install a V-8 in its place.

2018 Jeep Wrangler owner’s manuals leaked, and they tell us much — but not all

Mon, Oct 16 2017

If you're looking for some light reading to start your week, we have a suggestion for you. The " Owner's Manual" and the " User Guide" for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler have leaked, and have been posted on the JL Wrangler Forums. They appear to be the real deal. There's a ton of information, and many pages to pore over, but here's a little bit of what we've gleaned so far. The documents (assuming they're not just some very elaborate and convincing hoax) confirm the power sliding top, which is not removable, though the rear quarter windows are. We're not seeing any mention of a power soft top, though. There are instructions on door removal, as well as folding down the windshield. The manuals also confirm a 4WD Auto mode that shifts power between the front and rear axles as needed. What we don't appear to have yet are complete specifications. The manuals mention the 2.0-liter and 3.6-liter engines, but not their output figures. The 2.0-liter recommends premium fuel, while the 3.6-liter only needs 87 octane. Towing capacity for the two-door models is 2,000 pounds, while the four-door versions are capable of 3,500 pounds. The manuals also provide a lot of images, if you're interested in seeing the nitty gritty details of the Wrangler's various functions. Take a look, and make sure to post any interesting findings in the comments section, below. Related Video:

The 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer looks like a Grand Cherokee on steroids

Tue, Oct 18 2016

It's a special day for Jeep fans. Thanks to the same dealer meeting leak that gave us a look at the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL, here is our first glimpse of the new Grand Wagoneer. When it arrives for 2019, this three-row crossover SUV will be the top model in Jeep's range. We knew the Grand Wagoneer would be expensive – Jeep CEO Mike Manley said not to rule out prices upwards of $130,000 for this Range Rover fighter – but now we know it looks like it wants to pick an actual fight with its competitors. What's visible of the front and rear styling is very reminiscent of the current Grand Cherokee, but it's muscled up a bit and gets a set of sinister seven-element headlights. The seven-light theme is carried to the rear as well, and we have a feeling the number is a not-so-subtle reference to the seven-slot grille that all Jeeps wear. That said, here the grille is a short, wide-mouth affair that is a bit of a departure from those of other models. And there's a lot of brightwork in these renderings, not just on the grille but for similar pieces that connect the exhaust tips in the rear and tow-hook surrounds up front. Either by design or engineering, the Grand Wagoneer also looks wider than the two-row Grand Cherokee. The Grand Wagoneer will be about the size of the Dodge Durango three-row crossover and will be based on the platform used by the next-generation Grand Cherokee. The GC and Durango currently share a platform based on one used by Mercedes for its large SUVs, and it is not yet known whether the new Jeeps will use an evolution of that platform or something new. Hemi V8 and diesel and gas V6 engines are the likely powertrain options, and we wouldn't be surprised to see a Hellcat-powered version of this mean-looking luxury SUV at some point. Or at least we can hope. Related Video: Featured Gallery 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Dealer Leak Spy Shots Image Credit: KGP Photography Design/Style Spy Photos Jeep Crossover SUV
