CJ6 1975 l have had for a long time runs great.Tires are good,runs good.I change out the front axle about 5 years ago it now has disc brakes on the front now.The only problem is the gear ratio is different than the back,3:42 in front 3:73 in the back.Never needed 4x4 on my farm so I never change it.It has the average rust issues but still a solid jeep.I have used this jeep around my farm for years ,all my grand children learn how to drive in it.All are grown now and I don't use it much anymore so its time to go.I will leave the winch on it or take it off with a 300.00 discount on the price.There is no title, lost years ago.All of the gauges work and speedo.New fuel tank last year.This jeep is not perfect or new,what you see is what you get,but it is a good jeep for restoring.These cj 6 jeeps are getting hard to fine,there is one listed on ebay for 39000.00.Restored they will bring good money.Finding one to restore is next to none.This jeep drives really well.Also I have a lot of parts that I accumulated over the years that go with the jeep,just extra parts.Thanks for looking.

Jeep Cherokee won't get diesel until sales of oil-burning Grand Cherokee improve
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Okay Jeep fans, you want more diesel options? Time to step up and prove it. The only way Jeep will offer a diesel powerplant in the Cherokee, according to brand head Mike Manley, is if sales of the Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel nearly double.
Currently, about eight percent of the Grand Cherokees sold feature the 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6. That's simply not enough to warrant the bringing an oil-burning Cherokee to the US market, despite the vehicle's presence in Europe, where it's sold with a 2.8-liter diesel V6.
"Cherokee is slightly different because of its weight and size. When I think about bringing Cherokee diesel here, I would like to see Grand Cherokee diesel get much higher than eight percent," Manley told Automotive News. "It would have to be in mid-double digits."
Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition coming to America
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Jeep originally took the wraps off its Polar Edition Wrangler at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and at the time, we figured this would be a Europe-only affair. (Perfectly fine, since we US customers haven't exactly been lacking special edition Wrangler models over the years.) But now, and as Jeep says, just in time for winter, the automaker has announced that the ice cold Wrangler will be hitting North American showrooms in November.
Based on the Wrangler Sahara model, the Polar Edition can be had in either two- or four-door body styles, with a unique Hydro Blue paint job as the featured color. (Buyers can also opt for less-special Billet Silver and Bright White hues.) Other exterior enhancements include a body-colored hardtop, 18-inch gloss black wheels, the Powerdome (power bulge) hood, and unique decals all around the body.
But the Polar Edition isn't just about some paint and stickers. Jeep has fitted this Wrangler with a Dana 30 front axle and Dan 44 rear axle, as well as the Trac-Lok anti-spin electronic rear differential. Like all US-spec Wranglers, the Polar Edition uses Jeep's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both a six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmission are available.

Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
