Up for sale is this super clean 2007 Jaguar XK Coupe. Unfortunately, this vehicle was involved in a fresh water flood and is being sold with a salvage title. The previous owner drove this vehicle over a puddle of rain water and the intake on the vehicle sucked water into the engine, causing the motor to hydrlock. We purchased a motor with 68k miles on it from a Jaguar specialist in California and had this motor installed in the vehicle by a local Jaguar technician in staten island NY. We have all the receipts for this work and the new motor runs perfectly. The vehicle runs and drives like dream now and we also had the technician do all the scheduled maintenance on the vehicle. This vehicle runs as if it were brand new. Besides the water entering the original engine, there was no other damage done to the vehicle. No water entered the interior of the vehicle and there is no corrosion anywhere at all. The vehicle runs and drives fantastically and everything in the vehicle works the way it should, and I mean everything (see my video)! This vehicle needs nothing at all! We went through this vehicle from top to bottom and its ready to be sold to its next proud owner.
This Jaguar is super clean and has a black onyx exterior with black leather interior accented by real wood trimming.  The leather seats are in like new condition and they are also heated and fully powered with lumbar functions and triple memory settings. This is a very rare option on these cars. This XF just turned 102k miles and it runs and drives fantastically. All these miles are out of state highway miles and it shows. The drive is so smooth and powerful, its like floating on a cloud. Every feature in the car is working the way it should including the heated seats, rear parking sensors, navigation, and all other power accessories. This vehicle is ready for its new owner and needs nothing at all done to it. We just had it professionally detailed inside and out.
This XK is loaded up with every possible option that could have been ordered. It has navigation with all the proper Nav discs, upgraded Alpine sound system (rare option), heated seats with mulit-lumbar settings, heated steering wheel, rear parking sensors, xenon headlighs, fog lamps, 6 Disc in-dash CD changer, wireless bluetooth cell phone connecion, remote keyless entry with smart key, power tilt/telescoping steering column, paddle shifters on steering wheel as well as steeing wheel controls for the radio, 19 inch alloy premium wheels, and too much more to list!. This XK has it all.
This Jag comes with the TWO original Jaguar smart key fobs. We also have all the NAV discs, all the originals owners manuals and booklets, the floor mats, the spare tire and jack, and the complete tool kit as well. Its all there like it was when it was new.
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. This vehicle was never involved in any collisions on the carfax report and the carfax reports also shows that this vehicle was always serviced in the Jaguar dealer since new to the present. There are tons or maintenance records for this vehicle on the carfax report and we also have some more bills as well. The car has all matching Continental tires all around. We have driven it 1000 miles and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and transmission fluids and the vehicle has new brakes, new rotors, and new windshield wiper blades.
The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The body is in above average condition and there is no real blemishes to point out on this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well, especially for its age. You will be hard pressed to find another Jag XK in this shape, especially with all these options.
The interior of the vehicle is also super clean. The seats have no cracks or rips and the leather is very firm and supple. The dash and door panels are also very nice and clean.  All the wood trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The interior is perfect condition in my opinion.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. I do drive this vehicle daily, so the mileage might be slightly higher at the end of the auction. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and my number is 646- 243- 9866. Thanks and good luck bidding!

2019 Jaguar I-Pace First Drive Review | A taste of Jag's EV crossover

Thu, Apr 5 2018

This is literally our first drive of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover. It lasted about 2 minutes and occurred on a tiny autocross in a frigid parking lot in New Jersey, but if we're to split hairs, it is indeed the first time we've piloted this revolutionary EV SUV-ish vehicle from a company better known for barking exhausts and slinky sport coupes. While the rest of the automotive press was gallivanting about Manhattan prior to the New York Auto Show, a select few were bused out to Jaguar-Land Rover's new corporate headquarters in Mahwah, N.J. It was there we saw the world debut of the new F-Pace SVR, the North American debut of the Range Rover SV Coupe, and got our first real taste of the I-Pace. The chief impression is that it feels much smaller than its exterior dimensions would indicate, maneuvering quickly and effortlessly without a hint of roll. Credit the wheels pushed out to the absolute corners and a low center of gravity, both the result of Jaguar's decision to fully embrace the packaging and engineering possibilities of an electric powertrain. The steering was perhaps not as feelsome as other Jaguars, but again, who really knows? Two minutes, parking lot, etc. In terms of power, it sure is an electric car. Smooth, quick and quiet, but with so little space to work with, there would've been little noticeable difference between the 394-horsepower I-Pace and the 147-hp Nissan Leaf currently sitting in my driveway. Its estimated range of 240 miles on the EPA cycle? Uh, it was good enough for an afternoon of journalists driving in circles. What I can definitively declare, however, is that the 2019 I-Pace boasts far superior interior quality than every Tesla I've driven. It's also, just as important, a considerable leap forward in terms of materials quality and design from the rather dull and disappointing current Jaguar litter of F-Pace, XF and XE. For instance, leather or leatherette always cover the dash (versus the rubbery stuff found in lower F-Pace, XF and XE trim levels), while there was clearly an effort made to visually spruce things up. The dual-screen center console controls first seen on the Range Rover Velar also appear for the first time in a Jaguar, as does a unique push-button shifter ( though I still prefer a properly utilized rotary). 2018 Jaguar F-Pace: Heated windshield option may drive you crazy

Fri, Sep 29 2017

Our long-term Jaguar F-Pace is stuffed full of options. It's the top-trim S model with the most powerful engine, and we selected five of seven available option packages. The two we didn't pick were the cheapest ones. There were a handful of individual options we selected, as well, and one of them, the heated windshield, is one that you should definitely think twice about before choosing. The reason being that, in this editor's opinion, it's thoroughly irritating. I actually didn't even know our F-Pace had it the first time I signed it out for an evening. At the end of the day, I grabbed the key, walked down to the parking lot and drove it away without a second thought. A couple miles down Woodward Avenue, though, I noticed that my view out wasn't quite as clear as I expected. I figured the windshield was dusty or something, so on went the windshield washer for a few moments. After everything dried off, I had the same issue. I pulled the washer lever again and still nothing. I leaned forward and squinted my eyes, and that's when I spotted the minuscule heater wires across the entire pane of glass. And once I saw the wires, it was almost impossible to unsee them. My unobstructed view out the car suddenly turned into a CRT screen full of scan lines. They never kept me from safely driving the F-Pace (after all, they are extremely small), but I could never completely forget they were there. It's incredibly frustrating and it gets worse at night as the wires combine with oncoming headlights. I'm not the only one who dislikes them either, as Senior Editor John Snyder and Contributing Editor James Riswick voiced their displeasure with the feature. Not everyone in the office feels this way about the heated windshield, though. Associate Editor Reese Counts said that they don't bother him one bit. And in cold weather climates like Michigan, it should be handy for clearing snow, ice and condensation from the windshield. With these differing opinions, then, this is an option that you'll definitely want to experience for yourself before actually choosing it. You might find it unobtrusive or you might find it insufferable. As for me, I don't think I could deal with having those wires in my face all year 'round. I would rather spend 10 percent of the year when we have accumulating snow and ice scraping it off manually so that the other 90 percent of the year I have a crystal clear view of the road.

2018 Jaguar F-Pace S Long-Term Review | Wrapping up our six-month test

Mon, Mar 5 2018

It's been six months since our long-term 2018 Jaguar F-Pace S arrived to warm our hands and hearts. Jaguar's most popular model with consumers was equally popular with the Autoblog staff. We drove it 13,000 miles and would continue to rack up more if Jaguar would just let us keep the keys. It was a great follow-up to our fuel-efficient but slightly gutless 2017 Jaguar XE diesel. Our Caesium Blue bomber is loaded with nearly every option. That includes heated seats front and rear, a black package that swaps out chrome for black trim, and a full-size spare (that takes up a lot space). The S model's supercharged 3.0-liter V6 sends 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. All in, our F-Pace S will set you back $74,640. Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: I spent a lot of time in the F-Pace this year. It's powerful, sporty, looks sharp (love the lively blue-purple paint) and has a solid interior. The styling resonated with me. I think Jaguar design boss Ian Callum and team nailed the proportions and curves. A crossover was sure to be controversial with Jag loyalists, but it's beautiful, and the reasoning for joining the SUV fray is ironclad. Everybody from Ferrari to Porsche is there. I appreciated the driving dynamics. The steering has decent feedback, the engine sounds good and has energy, and you ride just high enough to feel in command. The Jaguar DNA comes through. I took it to a tailgate, where I was boxed in and had to be the guy in the Jaguar who asks people to move so he can leave early. Cutting through rows of tailgaters in a purple Jag with black wheels isn't exactly subtle. But the car was versatile. I put tons of groceries in the back. My dog enjoyed the second row. It was good in snow. All the things you want in a crossover. The F-Pace was one of the more memorable long-termers we've had at Autoblog. It was fun to drive and stayed in high demand, even after we'd had it for months. It's not perfect. The interior was a little plain, and I don't love the infotainment, but in its first attempt at a crossover — Jaguar nailed it. Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder: While I found it comfortable for long highway drives Up North, this thing is absolutely ferocious in Dynamic Mode with the gear selector set to S. The paddles amp up the fun. It really changed the character of this cat, and I was always surprised by the transformation. I got a lot of looks in the F-Pace.
