Back on the market...!!! Original e-bay buyer could not close deal. This is a truly gorgeous car. Rare, "Prism Blue" color (I have never seen another one with this color on the road) gets tons of compliments. Paddle shifters, bluetooth, heated seats and steering wheel with leather wrapped dashboard. Nav, CD Changer, Sirius/XM/Iphone adaptor installed. 78k well-cared for miles. No Accidents. All recommended oil changes and service. No major repairs needed or performed. There are a few minor flaws and I have included pictures to detail - some curb rash on wheels (repairable), a small scratch on rear bumper, front air dam has clear protective 'bra' that as minor imperfections and a small crack. Original owner was from Scottsdale. I have driven the car for the past 15k miles and never had a problem. This is the best car I have ever owned and will be sorry to see it go, however must sell below market due to tax liability. Clear title. *****PLEASE NOTE***** PAYPAL ACCEPTED FOR DEPOSIT ONLY. BUYER MUST APPEAR IN PERSON WITH VERIFIABLE FUNDS FOR REMAINING BALANCE AND DO THE TRANSACTION LOCALLY.

Exploring Romania's storied Transfagarasan Highway in a Jaguar F-Type V8 S
Wed, 05 Feb 2014Top Gear is, in some ways, a victim of its own success. When it declares a road the best in the world, like it did with Romania's Transfagarasan Highway during its 14th season, you can't blame people for showing up and wanting to check it out. Of course, then the road becomes clogged with tourists and is less fun to drive.
But is it possible that there is an even better driving road in Romania? One that is higher, smoother and undiscovered by tourists - at least not yet? Henry Catchpole from Evo thinks that he may have found it while driving a Jaguar F-Type V8 S that makes a sound that evokes a World War II British fighter plane.
Scroll down to take a brief trip to Romania and bask in the wonderful roar of this topless Jaguar.
Lapping Le Mans with 1956's version of a dash cam
Wed, 01 May 2013Mike Hawthorne and Ivor Bueb won The 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1955 driving a Jaguar D-Type. The following year, a few days before the race, a British broadcaster put cameras on Hawthorne's car, hung a mic from a plate on his race suit and had him narrate a lap of the Circuit de la Sarthe.
It is compelling viewing. A new pit complex was built after the massive accident on the front straight in 1955, but this was still a time when crews prepped for the race on roads that were open to the public. Hawthorne's lap includes maneuvers to avoid bicyclists and cars, and gems like letting us know that doing 185 miles per hour down the Mulsanne Straight was where you could "relax a little, recover your energy." Watch him work it like the men of old in the video below.
This classic Jaguar XJ has a 720-hp ungentlemanly secret
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Forget Tawny Kitaen. If you want to make a Jaguar XJ rock, just do what this guy did: stuff a heavily modified and turbocharged General Motors V8 under the hood, and take it to the track.
The video calls this Series 1 XJ a sleeper, but with its open exhaust and obvious turbo whistle, the once-gentlemanly sedan is anything but. The owner says that the engine is GM LQ9 V8 that has been stroked to 402 cubic inches putting out around 720 horsepower with 12 pounds of boost (in standard form, this 6.0-liter V8 was used in the second-gen Cadillac Escalade). Check out the video below to see what that kind of power does for this classic Jaguar in the eighth-mile.
