2003 Jaguar Xk8 4.2 Convertible, Beautiful Car, Very Low Miles. on 2040-cars
Dallas, Texas, United States
|
I am selling
my 2003 XK8. This car has only 55,500 miles on it. It has been well taken care
of its whole life. It has a wonderful color combination. I am selling the car for a very good reason.
I need the money. I have owned three other XK8 s in the last 10 years. I bought
this car a year ago because of the low miles, the great color combination and
the main reason is that the earlier models had some problems that were
expensive to fix, such as complete motor failure or top problems etc. This car has a clean record. It is
the first year of the 4.2 liter motor. They had all the bugs figured out by this
time. I bought the car from the second
owner in California. The car has always been garage kept. When I bought the car
I was told the quarter panel, bumper cover and trunk were re sprayed. They did
a very good job. I do see one small area where a rock chip hit on the rear
bumper about the size of a nickel that shows where it might have been
repainted. There are two very small door dings on one side and one very small
one on the other door, like less than dime size. There are some light paint chips on the front
bumper and front of the hood. This is a very common occurrence with the xk8. The
tires are in great shape and have many miles left on them. The top works
excellent. It has a parade cover that matches the interior as well. The
interior is in fabulous shape. The headliner is very clean as well. This is the
perfect car for someone looking for an inexpensive sporty classy car. I am sure
when I am flush I will be buying another one. I know what these cars are worth and the
reserve is very reasonable. I don’t know
what else to say about the car. It is a great car. Feel free to call me with
any question. The car is located in Dallas and I can show it. This weekend
would be great if anybody wants to see it. I will be in and out of town if
anybody wants to look at it next week. Feel free to
call me with any questions at 512 997 8776. I want the complete payment for the
car within seven days of the end of the auction. Good Luck! |

2018 Jaguar I-Pace hits the Nurburgring in all its electric glory
Mon, Jun 26 2017Jaguar is continuing development work on the I-Pace, its first all-electric model set to arrive in 2018. Today we're getting fresh spy shots of the svelte crossover being unloaded for testing at the Nurburgring, and the I-Pace looks almost identical to the concept model and a prototype we spied earlier this year. It's expected to debut next fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Despite wearing Slimer-green camouflage, the I-Pace's curves and creases are evident. It's fronted by a prominent grille that's mainly for looks, angled headlights, and short overhangs. Obviously, Jag wants you to know it's working on an electric car, as the test mule wears the hashtag #jaguarelectrifies on the sides and #ipace on the hood. Subtle. Jaguar hasn't confirmed US specs, but based on the concept car the I-Pace generates 400 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels from a 90-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The crossover can hit 60 miles per hour in 4 seconds and has an expected range of 220 miles. Jaguar is investing in electric technology, though it's also looking to diesels and smaller-displacement four-cylinder engines as part of its future powertrain strategy. On Monday, the company confirmed plans for a 296-hp turbo four-cylinder that will be offered in the 2018 XE, XF, and F-Pace, as the well-received Ingenium engine family expands. In Jaguar parlance, the "Paces" are crossovers: The F-Pace is a midsize utility vehicle. The E-Pace is a compact crossover, and the I-Pace is an electric crossover. Try to keep up. Aston Martin DBX and the craziest car redesigns | Autoblog Podcast #716
Fri, Feb 11 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor James Riswick. They chat about slumming it in the Aston Martin DBX, the brand's first SUV, which they didn't have terribly high expectations for yet utterly blew them away. Riswick in particular notes it's one of the best cars he's ever driven, describing it as a family GT car. They then switch to a very different family vehicle: the 2022 Kia Carnival, and the unique second-row seating arrangement we've dubbed the "Captain Kirk chair." Greg has also been driving the Chevrolet Tahoe Premier. They also chat about two of Riswick's recent features: the 20 craziest car redesigns of the past 20 years and the best cars for snow. Autoblog Podcast #716 Get The Podcast Apple Podcasts – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes Spotify – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast on Spotify RSS – Add the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator MP3 – Download the MP3 directly Rundown Cars we're driving Aston Martin DBX 2022 Kia Carnival 2022 Chevy Tahoe Features 20 craziest car redesigns of the last 20 years Best cars for snow Feedback Email – Podcast@Autoblog.com Review the show on Apple Podcasts Autoblog is now live on your smart speakers and voice assistants with the audio Autoblog Daily Digest. Tata Motors posts quarterly loss and warns of inflationary costs
Mon, Jan 31 2022BENGALURU — Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) owner Tata Motors reported a quarterly loss on Monday that was bigger than expected and warned of rising inflationary costs. Automakers worldwide have been roiled by chip shortages, supply chain disruptions, COVID-19 restrictions and rising raw material prices after a short-lived recovery towards the end of 2020. "Demand remains strong despite near term concerns ... the semiconductor supply situation is improving gradually whilst inflation worries persist," Tata Motors said in an exchange filing. The company expects chip shortages at JLR to continue through 2022 as suppliers gradually ramp up production, and is also engaging directly with chip manufacturers to secure supply longer-term supplies for the Range Rover maker, it said. Tata Motors' consolidated net loss came in at 15.16 billion rupees ($203.23 million) for the quarter ended Dec. 31, compared to a profit of 29.06 billion rupees a year earlier, when an easing of pandemic-related restrictions led to a pick-up in sales. However, the recovery was short-lived as acute semiconductor shortages and supply chain disruptions delayed production, and Tata Motors slipped back to losses. For the reported quarter, analysts had expected the Mumbai-based company to report a loss of 3.30 billion rupees, according to Refinitiv IBES data. Tata Motors' earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin, a key measure of profitability, was 10.2% for the quarter, above estimates of 9.3%. Total revenue from operations for the quarter fell 4.5% to 722.29 billion rupees, below estimates of 775.93 billion rupees. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party.
