For sale is a very nice 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible.  It is champagne in color with tan leather interior and a dark tan top. This is a NO RESERVE auction and will sell to the highest bidder!!

Car is in great shape and is currently a daily driver, car 116,710 miles on it and everything works fine.  Has the 4.6 liter v8 engine which runs great and automatic transmission is fine too...

Options include Convertible, Dual Power Seats, all power,  Alloy wheels, am/fm tape player, Automatic Transmission, 6 Disk cd Changer in trunk, Gold Plating, Wood Grain, Owners Manuals and keyless entry.  Interior is in nice shape as I do not smoke. Car has ice cold a/c and heat blows hot. Has all power and comes with keyless entry remote.

Car has had a new convertible top professionally done along with the front seats,  both were done at On Top Of The Lines Auto Interiors who specialize in convertible tops along with BMW and Jaguars and cost me $1900.  These were done just because of normal wear and cosmetics.  Also like to include car has been painted about 5 years ago due to hood and trunk fading but everything looks decent. All glass is excellent,  Car has never been in any accidents and shows itself very well for the age and mileage of the car!! It has truly been my pride and joy... Car is not a garage queen, it has been driven and enjoyed.. There is a small crack in drivers side rear tail light. Overall I would rate the car an 8/10.

Wheels are in nice shape and tires are all matching bf Goodrich 235/60/15 and near brand new.  Battery is good all lights come on and go off like they should car doesn't leak any fluids and I would think nothing of driving the car 20 hours with the top down. Having said that please understand the car is a 20 year old car, and peoples opinion's on what they believe is poor, fair, excellent vary so would recommend an inspection prior to bidding.  Pictures show cars actual condition and is ready for a new home.

Have title in hand and is in my name.  Hope I have included everything, if I have missed anything please look at pictures for further details or message me.  I have receipts for any work that has been done since I've owned it.  Once again this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION

I ask winning bidder pays $500 deposit within 24 hours of auctions end and the balance within 7 days.  I can pick up at the local airport if this helps or can help assist in shipping.

Unlatched Jaguar E-Type hood doesn't prevent blind overtakes at Goodwood

Sat, Sep 8 2018

One of the things about Goodwood Revival that really sticks with you is that the classic racing cars are really driven hard there. It's never a slow parade around the track, but instead the vintage Ferraris and Jaguars really battle each other, metal against metal, lap after lap. The result is often scraped and bent sheetmetal, no matter how pricelessly valuable the vintage cars are. This clip, shared on the Goodwood Road & Racing YouTube channel, really shows the attitude that makes Goodwood what it is. Rob Huff, in a fixed-roof E-type, is chasing after Nigel Greensall in an E-type Roadster in the Kinrara Trophy race, and man, he really wants to get past. The problem is that every time the nose of Huff's Jaguar gently taps the rear quarter of the white Jaguar, the car's large hood wants to flip up and obscure the view, making overtaking even harder than it already is. Clearly Greensall doesn't want to let Huff ahead of him all that easily. We can only imagine how much work it takes to keep a classic Jaguar like that pointing in the right direction on a slightly wet track, let alone driving blind on a racecourse due to a massive clamshell hood in the way. At least we get a view of the XK six-cylinder engine. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.

Jaguar hints at what might become of XK after F-Type's arrival

Wed, 02 Jan 2013

Jaguar may move the company's XK further upmarket following the introduction of its forthcoming F-Type. The newcomer to the range easily shoulders the burden of carrying the Jaguar sportscar mantle, freeing up the XK to evolve in another direction. While speaking with Autocar, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum said there's an opportunity to grow the grand tourer both in size and luxury.
Whether that means the vehicle will retain its two-plus-two seating configuration or swell to offer buyers even more space remains to be seen. Either way, the future will likely see the XK soften its claws moving forward. And that's no bad thing. Jaguar has a long history of building luxurious grand tourers more content to soak up miles of highway than bounce from apex to apex.
What else is in store for the brand? Callum seems to have kept his cards close to his chest, refusing to acknowledge ongoing rumors of a Jaguar crossover beyond saying the brand "had to take notice" of the popularity of the luxury SUV market.

Jaguar reveals upcoming XE's InControl infotainment system [w/video]

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Jaguar has been keeping busy lately, rolling out both the new Lightweight E-Type and F-Type Project 7 at Pebble Beach this past weekend. But the more important project for the British automaker is the upcoming new XE.
Coventry has been releasing a steady stream of information and teasers on its new 3 Series challenger, and has now revealed details of the new infotainment system that will debut in the XE. Called InControl, the system centers around an eight-inch touchscreen and integrates with smartphones (running both iOS and Android) through the InControl Remote and InControl Apps. The system will allow drivers to pre-set the climate control for each day of the week, lock and unlock the doors and start the engine remotely.
It'll also include an on-board wifi hotspot to connect multiple devices and a laser-based head-up display that you can scope out in the graphic above as well as the video and press release below in advance of the XE's upcoming debut in London on September 8.
