2005 Jaguar XJR
Here is a really really nice car that is in need of some repair. This top of the line Jaguar only has 64k miles, the car does start and does move around. The interior is almost like new, with all the electricals working, including all the guages, as does the stereo/navigation/climate control console. The air ride suspension and headlights work. The airbags have not been deployed, the engine purrs as you would expect from a Jaguar.
The Jaguar has front accident damage, one wheel has been scraped and the other side has been pushed back. The grill is missing, and there is damage including some light frame damage and associated miscellaneous damage in the area around the radiator/ac condensor/pulleys and plastic trim items. The radiator has a crack in it, the freon has escaped (assuming a line is damaged). A fan belt pulley rattles, the pulley stops making a rattle if you spray some WD40 on it.
The car has a California Salvage Certificate (see pics), and will be sold with the Salvage Certificate. The previous California registration was valid till July 2014. We will be selling the car for parts/restoration. Buyers are responsible for any certifications/documentation/smog to register the car in your state; and also any eventual registration fees and sales taxes.
The car is sold as-is and as equipped. However, you are welcome to come see and/or have the car inspected before the end of the sale. Payment is due within seven days of the end of the sale. Transportation is the responsiblity of the buyer.

Jaguar F-Type convertible rally car might be the coolest F-Type ever
Mon, Nov 12 2018The Jaguar F-Type is a sweet sports car. Rally cars are awesome. Put the two together, and you have one seriously cool ride, which is exactly what Jaguar did. The company took two F-Type convertibles and turned them into rally-ready race cars. They're built to commemorate a 1948 XK 120 that took home several European rally victories, and they share some of the visual tweaks of the Checkered Flag Edition F-Type. These custom Jags likely won't see serious competition, but they're certainly built to handle it. They have FIA-certified roll cages, racing seats, harnesses and a fire extinguisher. The suspension features three-way adjustable rally shocks and soft springs for rough roads and, as shown above, jumps. Brakes are upgraded with slotted rotors and four-piston calipers at all four corners. There's a hydraulic handbrake and a limited-slip differential that should make sliding around corners much easier. Interestingly, these F-Types use the entry-level turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The engines also haven't been upgraded at all, so they make the standard 296 horsepower. As such, this F-Type is only in the running for being the coolest version ever, rather than running away with such a commendation. Sadly, it appears Jaguar will only ever build these two examples. But we bet that someone could replicate one without too much difficulty. That someone could perhaps even start with a V6 or V8 convertible, giving it more power and a way better sound to enjoy through that open-air roll cage. Related Video:
2013 Jaguar XF 2.0T
Fri, 10 May 2013Jaguar is moving to modernize its XF engine lineup - once the exclusive territory of V8 mills - with a range including a turbo four, a supercharged six and supercharged V8s of various potencies. Personally, I'll miss the combination of this smooth looking and driving XF sedan, and the lazy power of the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter engine, even if the super six has earned some praise in other applications.
The truth is that the four, six, eight lineup for the XF makes a lot of sense, and this 2.0T version of the sedan is far better than I expected it to be. In fact, there's a legitimate argument to be made for it as the XF that works the best for the largest group of customers. Here's why:

Their programming aims to give vulnerable young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilize their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work.
