Just bought a new car, so I am retiring my super reliable daily driver 2005 Jaguar XJ8L in rare Qartz/Dove colour combination. Clean title. No accident. Non-smoker. It has the "R" sports package loaded with features (See the options list above), including the updated 2012 Sat Nav. I have owned Jaguar cars since 1998 and always treated them to the finest care. Regularly detailed and washed, this pampered XJ8L has undergone normal as well as preventive maintenance and will last another trouble-free 80,000 miles (according to my Jaguar master mechanic at Pasadena Motor Cars). Among the parts replaced were air compressor and 2 front air shocks (you saved $2800). The interior wood and leather are immaculate with no tear, crack or scuff mark. You can buy a low mileage car with shady service history, not knowing something might break after you've acquired it, or you can buy a higher mileage car, knowing it has been well-loved and cared for. Of all the Jaguars I have owned, this car is particular amazing for its superb 29-30 highway MPG given its large size and powerful 290hp V8. I have all the service records and will provide additional photos upon request.

With this car, you are getting the BEST value in British luxury. Its original MSRP was $70,000. I will consider all reasonable offers.

Lana Del Rey's "Burning Desire" video, the first musical collaboration between Jaguar and its hired songstress, is half music video, half long-form lifestyle commercial for the 2014 F-Type. If you like Del Rey channeling glamorous fifties fame as she lays down vocals of sensuous, languid dolor over images of black-and-white yesteryears, you'll like this song off of her new EP, Paradise.
We think the appearance of a red and brand-new Jaguar, though, is incongruous - either Del Rey or Jaguar is the anachronism, take your pic. That's not to say it's not beautiful, however, so enjoy the combination in the video below.

Jaguar confirms XE reveal for September 8

Jaguar has a whole raft of new products in the pipeline, from the long-awaited replacement for the XF mid-size sedan and a likely XJ-based replacement for the XK coupe and convertible to the production version of its C-X17 crossover concept. But arguably the most important will be the all-new XE, a compact sports sedan pointed squarely at the BMW 3 Series - a market segment which Jaguar last nipped at with the regrettable X-Type, one which it is now committed to tackling head on.
The British automaker has been trickling out a steady stream of details on its upcoming XE, from the initial announcement in March to the reveal of the disguised prototype in May and most recently the details released just last week of the new Ingenium engine family that will provide its motivation. Now Jaguar has confirmed the XE reveal timeframe and some more salient details of its chassis.
Set to be unveiled in London on September 8, the XE will reach European showrooms in 2015 and our shores in 2016. That's when buyers will be able to get their hands on what Jaguar is already characterizing as "a true driver's car; one that redefines the concept of the sports sedan."
