You are bidding on a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 with around 145,000 plus miles. The Jag is in great shape the exterior is black with a beautiful shine. The interior is tan leather also in great shape. The drivers seat does show a little wear such as cracks. There are no major tears. The rest of the seats are in great shape. The motor runs quiet and smooth and should last the winner a long time with proper care. The transmission shifts through all gears smoothly as it should. The car runs down the road real nice with no shakes, rattles ETC. The carpet and the headliner are both in good shape, as well as the factory Jaguar floor mats (pictured). The exterior is free of any body damage, there is a couple minor scratches, but hardly noticeable. I had my eyes as close to the car as I could without hitting my head, and didn't notice anything out of the norm. For a 17 year old car it is IMMACULATE as far as I am concerned. It is fully loaded with every power option available, and it all works including the A/C. The tires are almost brand new I would guess that they may have 5 to 10 thousand miles on them. They appear to have about 80% plus tread life left on them, so no worries there. This car can be driven anywhere with confidence, no check engine lights, abs lights or any other lights are on. You can fly in and drive home, or you may have it shipped. Sometimes shipping is cheaper. We can provide you with phone numbers for shipping quotes if you prefer that route. We are a small Indiana dealer with a great reputation here on Ebay as well as locally. Most of our business is word of mouth we don't advertise, and we sell many units each month with several HAPPY CUSTOMERS. The local and surrounding towns officers and firemen purchase from us as well to give you an example of our reputation. We want everyone to be happy with there experience with us, we will do anything in our power to make sure each deal is easy, and smooth so you leave with a smile. Please bid with confidence as I said this is a fly in and drive home type vehicle, and this Jag is from the time when a Jag was a Jag. Not a ford. Besides the wear on the drivers seat the only other think that I can knock the car for is the light on the radio is blurry, it does light up and work just a bit blurry. Since we are a dealer we have to collect 7% sales tax on top of the winning bid. You will be provided with an ST-108 form proving you paid your tax up to 7%. If your state tax is higher you will have to pay the difference in your state. We also will provide you with a temp. plate whether you fly and drive or have it shipped either way you will get a 30 day plate. We require an IMMEDIATE $500 deposit at the end of the auction through PayPal so if you don't want to leave the deposit please don't bid. We can take the deposit/and or full payment over the phone with a credit/debit card, if you don't have a PayPal account. The Balance must be paid in full within 3 days of auction ending. We can also take that payment with a credit/debit card. You may also bring cash in person for the balance if you are picking up the car. If you are shipping and don't want to pay with a card you may overnight a cashiers check, which usually takes 3 days to clear. So in that case we will hold the car and title. If you pay the whole thing with a card/cash/or PayPal and you are shipping the car we will overnight you the title , tax form and 30 day temp plate. If you are picking it up in person we will hand it to you when the deal is finalized. We spend a lot of time and effort in buying/selling and listing our vehicles so please only bid if you intend to follow through. We are selling the JAG AT NO RESERVE, so this is your opportunity to purchase a mechanically sound luxury car that has plenty of power if your into that without shelling out an arm and a leg. If you have ZERO or NEGATIVE feedback please contact us through Ebay before bidding, we understand not everyone has tons of Ebay experience, so we would like to confirm that you are a serious buyer, as I stated earlier we spend a lot of time with our sales process, and I am sure none of you like your time and or money being wasted. Besides the 7% tax we do not charge all the other fees everyone else charges (doc fee, tag fee, this fee, that fee) so the final bid times 7% tax. Again this is an ABSOLUTE NO RESERVE SALE so bid early and often and don't miss out on an opportunity to own a Jaguar for a great price. The car is for sale locally and the auction could end at any given moment, but we prefer to let the auction run its course. We will do everything we can to keep it here on the world wide web. If there are any questions PLEASE ask and we will respond as fast and as honest as possible. Thank you so much for viewing the auction for our 1996 JAGUAR XJ6. HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot to mention we ran the car fax and its clean with no accidents, and the car fax buyback guarantee. Thanks again

Weekly Recap: Takeaways from the Frankfurt Motor Show
Sat, Sep 19 2015We obsessively covered the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and naturally, we selected our favorites from this fall's biggest automotive event. Now that the dust has settled, we're looking ahead to what it all means. Here are three takeaways from the floor in Frankfurt. The Germans are serious about electric vehicles: It's a bit cliche to say BMW, Mercedes, and Audi have downplayed electrics in favor of other technologies, like diesels. For a time that may have been true, but those three companies, along with Porsche and Volkswagen, are emerging as leaders in EV development. That was on display in Frankfurt, when all of them revealed either all-electric or plug-in hybrid models. Gas prices are relatively low in the United States, but clearly the Germans are thinking long-term and globally. Everyone is serious about SUVs: You gotta have one, even if you're Bentley or Jaguar. It's 2015 and it's what consumers want. As Jaguar design director Ian Callum put it, "Not to be in the sector would be a little naive for the sake of purity." It's not just the flashy exotic luxury makers. Nissan showed the Gripz concept, which is rakish, radical, and meant to blend traits of SUVs and sports cars into a vehicle that really crosses over. Look for more, especially in the luxury sector, as Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin ramp up their own SUV efforts. There's no ceiling to the luxury market: Speaking of high-end cars, companies are continuing to invest in extravagant wares beyond just SUVs. Even during the recession, ultra-luxury makers remained relevant, and now they're back at full stride. In Frankfurt, that was illustrated by yet another S-Class model, the cabriolet, which will come in S550 and S63 AMG variants in the United States. Ferrari also showed off the 488 Spider, and Lamborghini opened up the Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder. Meanwhile, Bugatti's Vision Grand Turismo concept reminded enthusiasts that it's plotting life after the Veyron. European auto shows always draw the glitziest reveals from luxury makers, and this year didn't disappoint. OTHER NEWS & NOTES 2016 Honda Civic redesigned with snazzier style, turbo power The 10th-generation of the Honda Civic debuted this week at events in Los Angeles and Detroit ahead of its launch in the United States this fall as a 2016 model. Honda fortified the Civic with LED lights, an available turbo engine, and a more tech-laden cabin.
Jaguar Classic heading to Le Mans with vintage racers
Wed, Feb 3 2016A grid full of vintage Jaguars will rumble into France in July to race in the Jaguar Classic Challenge during the Le Mans Classic. The event should give motorsport fans plenty to watch with a bevy of pre-1966 Jags on the famous circuit, including E-Types, XKs, C-Types, D-Types, and even the company's sedans. Jaguar launched the vintage racing series last year to build on the success of the popular E-type Challenge. It continues with a five-event calendar this season but swaps out a meeting at Brands Hatch to go to Le Mans – hard to argue with that change. The drivers also get to lap Donington Park, Silverstone, the Nurburgring, and Oulton Park. Le Mans is practically a home track for these classic Jags. The British automaker dominated the 24-hour race there in the 1950s, including overall victories in '51, '53, '55, '56, and '57. "Watching a diverse array of pre-1966 Jaguars racing on the iconic circuit, some of which even raced there in period, will surely be a sight not to be missed," Tim Hannig, Jaguar Land Rover Classic Director, said in the season announcement. Again, we find it hard to argue with that sentiment. The Le Mans Classic will be one of the major highlights of the forthcoming season that will see a diverse field of pre-1966 Jaguars going wheel-to-wheel in the competitive single-marque series. Jaguar has a long and successful history at Le Mans, with the marque first winning there back in 1951 with Peter Walker and Peter Whitehead driving the C-type - affectionately known as XKC 003. A one-two finish followed this in 1953 with the duo of Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton taking overall honours. Jaguar dominated Le Mans for three consecutive years in 1955, 1956 and 1957 in the D-type.
Jaguar E-Type Series 3 gets tasteful upgrades thanks to E-Type UK
Thu, Aug 2 2018The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most important and recognizable cars of all time. The E-Type — also called the XK-E here in the U.S. — was in production from 1961 until 1975. That said, when most people think of E-Types, they think of the early Series I cars. The later ones (especially federalized models with those horrendous bumpers) don't get much love. E-Type UK, a restoration shop in England, is giving those Series 3 models a second life. The car in these photos is a 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12. This Series 3 underwent a 3,000-hour restoration, getting a number of upgrades along the way. The engine — originally displacing 5.3 liters — has been enlarged to 6.1 liters. It ditched the original Stromberg carbs for a custom downdraft fuel-injection system. Just take a look at those velocity stacks. The car has also been fitted with a custom stainless-steel exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear through a new close-ratio five-speed manual transmission. E-Type UK says it now makes 284 horsepower at the wheels. Other upgrades include a new steering rack, adjustable suspension with new torsion bars, AP Racing brakes with four-piston calipers and ventilated rotors and custom one-off 62 spoke 16-inch Turino wire wheels wrapped in whitewall tires. New louvres and air ducts were added to help cooling. All external lighting has been upgraded to LEDs, including the daytime-running lights. Inside, the E-Type has been fitted with air conditioning, modified heated leather seats from an XJS, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, piano black trim and a red start button. The interior, including the factory hardtop, has also been fitted with Dynamat to reduce road noise. The car even has remote door locks. E-Type UK didn't post the price for this car, but a similar S3 E-Type is listed for GBP190,000, or about $250,000. If Series 3 or V12-powered cars aren't your thing, the website has a few listings for Series 1 cars with the classic inline-six. There's even an XK120 under the "sold" listings. Related Video:
