Hello today I offer for sell a rare 1994 xj12, only year built on the xj40 body style. Will make a great low mile running restoration project or parts car, engine and transmission is worth more than the starting bid along not to mention the low miles. The body is solid with only minor scratches and dings as pointed out in the pictures. No signs of rust. This car will need some tires and rear shocks. Although the tread is good on the tires they are dry rotted from sitting. I found a set of rear shocks on Ebay for $84.00 with a lifetime warranty, so the shocks are pretty inexpensive I probably would do the springs as well. Also I have 2 of the 4 hubcaps for the rims that are in fair condition. There is a very good matching full size spare in the trunk. The battery cover is missing, it was like that when I purchased it from the previous owner. The front seats will need to be re-upholstered as well as the armrest.The back seats are fine with minimum wear marks. Carpet is starting to show signs of wear. The doors are all in pretty good shape, with exception of a few scratches on 2 of them. I tried to show this in the pictures. Dashpad is in good shape. Engine and transmission run good. I have tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take in mind that this is a 19 year old vehicle so I'm sure I have missed some things. Jaguar bringing all-wheel-drive F-Type to LA Auto Show [w/video]
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Jaguar's big splash at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show was showing off the slinky F-Type Coupe; perhaps one of the loveliest car shapes on the road today. This year the company won't have a show-stopping new design to offer, but the news that all-wheel drive is coming to the F-Type range is, nevertheless, pretty spectacular.
Mixed in with news about a technical partnership between Jaguar and the Bloodhound SSC World Land Speed Record program, the British brand announced this morning that it will show the first AWD F-Type Coupe at the 2014 LA show later this month.
Jaguar tells us that the sure-footed cat, in AWD F-Type R Coupe form, will run from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds, with a limited top speed of 186 mph.

Jeremy Clarkson's Jag going up for auction
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Fans of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson might want to make plans to be in the UK next weekend. On August 24, Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn is auctioning off Clarkson's black 1999 Jaguar XJR as part of its classic sale. According to the auction house, the Jag was "originally the daily drive" of Clarkson and has had one registered owner since.
Clarkson's former ride clocks in at 93,000 miles and has an estimated price of 2,500 to 4,000 pounds. At roughly $3,300 to $5,300 in US dollars, that could be quite a steal for a hardcore Jeremy Clarkson fan. And with a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and lavish interior, it's a luxury sport sedan lover's dream.
This isn't the first time Clarkson has crossed paths with Anglia Car Auctions. Back in 2009, he and fellow Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond made an appearance at another vintage auction to buy vehicles for a future segment of the show.
