Even with a 10 mp camera, it doesn't show well in a picture. There are couple small rock chips on the front, but they are very small. There is a small spot of curb rash on one of the wheels. The interior of the car is an 8.5/10. There are a few cracks in the wood that are a result of the cars supple frame I assume. The cracks are easier to see in the pictures than in person. There are no stains, and no funny smells. No one has ever smoked in the car."

This is a 2009 Jaguar Select Certified XF Luxury edition.  I purchased the car from Park Place Jaguar in Plano, Texas.  Car Fax is completely clean.  All maintenance has been done at Jaguar.  Brakes, tires, alignment on all four wheels were just done less than 300 miles ago.  Also the 45K mile service.  This car needs nothing.  The warrantee is transferable to the next owner.  The Jaguar Select warrantee is good until 3-28-2015 or 100K miles, whichever comes first.  The warrantee IS transferable to the next owner.

The car currently has 47000 miles, so there are 53000 miles of bumper to bumper warrantee left.

This Jaguar comes with a 4.2L V8 engine that generates 320 horsepower.  It is very fast.  The car has satellite radio, navigation, auto headlamps, power everything, auto dimming rearview and side mirrors, cd player, power driver and passenger seats.  There are so many little things on this car that make it very nice.  I am selling it simply because I purchased it as change from the trucks I have always driven.  I realize now how much I miss putting stuff in the back of my truck!

I have priced the car below all other certified Jaguar XF's with like mileage in the country.  I do not think you will find one certified with new tires and brakes for anywhere close to my reserve price.

I can help arrange transportation for the car, but the buyer will be responsible for the cost.

Please call me with any questions.

Jaguar to expand Jaguar XKR-S GT production run?

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

According to a report in Autocar, demand for the Jaguar XKR-S GT is such that the English company could nearly double production from 30 to 50 cars. Such inflation can often incense those have already put deposits down, worried that they've both been lied to about the potentially diminished values of their cars, but Jaguar has made the announcement barely a day after the XKR-S GT was revealed and 50 still isn't that many vehicles.
Nothing in the Autocar report indicates the additional examples will not come to America, making the 500-horsepower superfast coupe a treat we can still call all our own. Jaguar didn't add horsepower but instead honed other aspects of the car to produce a GT that can lap the 'Ring nearly as quickly as a Ferrari 458 Italia, and the world should be the beneficiary, the company's brand director saying, "The real beauty of this project has been that it has extended our understanding of the elements involved in making a car go so fast, and that will feed back into all our road car programs." Sounds good to us.

Jaguar F-Type squares off against Porsche 911, Aston V8 Vantage with Chris Harris

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

Chris Harris is back on the job, taking on really really difficult car questions like: Which enormously sexy and good-to-drive, high-performance convertible is the top of the heap? As one of the hottest cars in the luxury space right now, the Jaguar F-Type S is, of course, in on the action. Competition comes in the form of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster and the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. Sun-loving CEOs who despise test-driving need look no further.
Scroll on below for a fully featured (with a running time of more than 20 minutes) comparison video. Harris does his best to entertain - in a typically nitpicky and made-up-British-words fashion - and the moving pictures are lovely to look at. Kick back, pour a pint and get your weekend started off right.

Jaguar lets first outsiders drive new F-Type

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

What do you do when you're an automaker with an all-new and brand-defining sports car, one of them with a supercharged V8 cranking out 495 horsepower? You let proven race drivers test them out on track and on the road.
And what do you do if you're Jaguar and you're in that situation? Why, naturally, you make a video of it. That's how we get footage of racers Martin Brundle, Justin Bell and Christian Danner being choppered into the UK's Snetterton track to test the V6-equipped Jaguar F-Type S prototype. Then when they're finished with kerb-lined apexes, they take the V8 S prototype out onto the roads to run it through hedge-lined apexes.
According to one of them, "very fast, very nimble, great engine" is what will soon be headed our way. Check it out in the video below.
