Welcome to a superb opportunity. You are viewing an outstanding condition, very low mileage and beautifully maintained, one-owner 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 All-Wheel Drive Personal Luxury Touring Sedan. This powerful, 227 horsepower V-6 sedan, linked with an electronically-controlled 5-speed automatic transmission is extra-clean and priced thousands below retail. Certainly one of the most wonderful combinations for this sedan. Beautiful high-gloss Jet Black exterior finish over supple Light Beige premium leather interior, complete with elaborate Zabrano interior wood trim. This locally-owned luxury sedan scream style and is truly an elegant color combination! Florida cars really are the cleanest pre-owned vehicles, and this AWD Jaguar is certainly no exception. The previous owner had homes both in Naples, Florida (you know, where Oprah and Martha both have homes) and Denver, Colorado...(you know, where its a lot of fun to live!) They certainly were living the dream!

It has a super appearance, and exciting performance to match. Jaguar hit the nail on the head with this bodystyle and the All-Wheel Drive model features sure footing in any driving situation, Wet, or dry... offering the utmost in comfort and ride control. Great inspired, driveability comes from the naturally-aspirated 3.0 liter Dual Overhead Cam electronically fuel-injected Aluminum V6 powerplant and silky-smooth 5-speed automatic transmission. Together, this is one of the most enjoyable driving experiences you will ever have. This luxury performance sedan is an absolute pleasure to drive. Completely loaded with full power options including dual 10-way adjustable power seats, heated lumbar Memory seating, factory 17-inch Tucana aluminum alloy wheels, factory power sunroof (with both one-touch tilt & slide feature), power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, superb 140-watt high-power audio system with 8-speaker system, Rear Parking Distance Control, One-touch power window operation, Perimeter Alarm, Rain Sensing variable intermittent wipers, dual heated power mirrors, keyless remote entry, factory security system and so much more. This one is as loaded as they come. This X-Type AWD model is top-of-the-line in every way, from each timeless bodyline, to every safety and security feature including front driver's and passenger airbags, front driver's and passenger seat-mounted side airbags, front/rear side curtain and post airbags. You'll be driving one of the World's most stylish, as well as safest vehicles on the road today.

The rich premium embossed Light Beige leather interior is in incredible condition and this is without a doubt my favorite color combination for this world-class sedan.  Stays nice and cool in the Summer, and the Solar Ray tinted windows really aide in keeping this rich interior from getting scorching hot in the Summer. We've taking plenty of detailed photos of the lovely interior, and the interior is like new. Perfect wood, perfect dash, the leather is outstanding, etc. However, as you can see by the driver's seat lumbar and bolster, there is some slight discoloration. Sometimes this happens from the oils in the skin (sweat) and it changes the color. So....we are taking this to Gold Coast Interiors tomorrow (the do all our work, as well as Sheldon Ferrari and Fort Lauderdale Bentley) and it will look like brand new. These Jet-setter's lived an Athletic life...skiing, snowboarding, surfing, wind-sailing....so, with shorts and tank tops in tow, this sometimes happen. Perfect color match, and will last forever. The interior is mint, mint, mint...and this little attention to detail will emphasize that. This Jaguar is the proverbially Wolf in Sheep's clothing. Everything works perfectly and properly, as you would expect from this pampered beauty, and this sedan was exclusively serviced at the Jaguar dealership both in Colorado and Naples. The original mileage is incredibly low at only 79,301--this sedan runs and drives like new. All this beauty needs is a new home.

Extra-clean, professional up-keep and maintenance, surprisingly powerful and a pleasure to drive. One step on the gas, and you will have a grin on your face from ear-to-ear. While still driving one of the safest and most elegant luxury sedans on the road today! And the bright, factory high-intensity lighting will help you enjoy your driving experience, day or night. This is a classic and timeless design, as any automobile enthusiast will agree.

Of course, this car has never been smoked in. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy Luxury Sport sedan. The exterior is excellent with no dents or unsightly parking lot door dings. There are a few light scratches on the rear bumper where these Jet-setter may have rubbed their designer luggage. No big deal, and nothing to be concerned with. We just wanted to mention it. And again, the interior is also nearly like new (and will be, once they feather dye the color in tomorrow). The rear seating does not even appear to have been sat in hardly at all.  Garage-kept, and it shows! We will gladly assist with transport within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available if you fly into Jacksonville International Airport.

We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. Don't miss out on this one. Only 79,000 original miles! The mileage is incredibly low for the model year at less than 7,500 miles per year.

Add in the fact that it has BRAND NEW premium Continental Extreme Contact all-season performance  radials all the way around on beautiful factory 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and this X-Type is an incredible buy at this price. These are top-of-the-line World-class premium heat-and-speed rated tires, and certainly aide in this sport sedan's cornering and handling. These  Z-rated Continentals will surely keep all this power and performance planted firmly on the pavement, no matter what the driving conditions, Wet or Dry. And the Dynamic Stability (DSC) and Traction Control of this Jaguar will ensure that as well. Don't make the mistake of missing out. The latest September 2014 Edition of the NADA Used Car Guide shows the retail value of this 2004 Jaguar to be upwards of $9,125....and certainly much more at your friendly neighborhood Jaguar dealership or local high-image Import Auto Boutique. Trade-in value is over $7,000! Buy and Bid with confidence on this completely serviced vehicle. I am also including all the original books and manuals that came with this car when new. Don't make the mistake of letting this fine one-owner example get away! The $850 tires are brand new, the oil has been replaced with Synthetic Mobil 1 and new filters have been installed. As well as a complete cooling system flush and fresh wipers. This Jaguar X-Type is ready for a drive Cross-Country, or to your local Country Club. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience.  Please call 561-283-9511 and ask for Steve. He will we happy to tell you all about this wonderful sedan as well as take you on a personal walk-around the vehicle. How and why Jaguar designed an electric SUV

Tue, Nov 15 2016

Adrian Belew, front man of famed progressive rock band King Crimson and collaborator with Bowie, Zappa, and the Talking Heads, released a prescient song in 1982, but we didn't know exactly how prophetic it was until this week. The song was titled Big Electric Cat, and its lyrics seemed to predict nearly 35 years ago the unveiling of Jaguar's first all-electric vehicle, a production-ready crossover concept with the not-so-ingenious name, I-Pace. She arrives like a limo/Smooth and moving/On the prowl through the crowd/To the beat of the city/She glows in the dark/Wherever she parks/Concrete crumbles and the night rumbles. At first glimpse of the I-Pace, you may not have precisely the same feeling of disintegration as the roadbed Belew mentions, but there is no denying that the new Jag is important for the brand. Flush with investment from its corporate overlords at Tata, the company is on its most robust product offensive ever, rounding out its lineup to become a full-range manufacturer, investing in autonomous driving and projective head-up technologies, nearly doubling global sales, and now going electric. "This is probably the most important car since the E-Type, I really mean that," says Jaguar director of design Ian Callum. "And when we get this car out into production and it gains recognition and popularity, I think history will show it's a significant step for the brand. Not only because we're embracing the future, quite openly and honestly, but because we're going to beat the rest of them. Tesla is there already, but none of the rest." As a challenger brand – one not in the top of mind consideration set like rivals at Mercedes, Audi, or Lexus – Jaguars are made or broken on this kind of differentiation. The I-Pace is certainly distinctive, and looks like nothing else on the road. Like many contemporary Jaguars, its rear three-quarter view is its most compelling, with the slender half-round taillights inspired by the legendary E-Type that were first revived on the F-Type and have since become a signature. But here, the rear end is shaved off and in an angular concavity that seems an effort to take as much mass as possible out of the back, and one that echoes elsewhere on the vehicle: in the scalloped sides, in the continuous path of glass from the base of the front windshield to (almost) the base of the rear liftgate. But especially in the foreshortened and deep-nostriled hood.

Jaguar could morph into an electric-only brand and explore new segments

Fri, Aug 21 2020

Jaguar is set to morph into an electric-only brand whose products will be aimed directly at Tesla's and Polestar's, according to a recent report. Its future range will allegedly include alternatives to the Tesla Model 3 and the Polestar 2. Nick Rogers, the head of Jaguar-Land Rover's engineering department, told British magazine Auto Express that a small electric Jaguar "would be great." His definition of small is different than, say, Smart's; don't expect the company to release an alternative to the ForTwo, or something along the lines of a Renault Twizy. Instead, he's likely referring to a model positioned below the XE, which is currently the smallest Jaguar, in terms of size. If approved, the car will be about the same size as a BMW 1 Series, though it might sit a little bit taller. Adding a few inches of ground clearance would give engineers more space to stuff a battery pack under the floor, while allowing its marketing department to reach a wider audience by presenting the hatchback as a crossover. "We need to think about that. That's a really cool space that we ideally want to be in, and ideally our customers want us to be in. It's extremely relevant at this time," he said. This isn't the first time we've heard that Jaguar is starting to think small. In June 2020, we reported the company is considering replacing the aforementioned XE and the XF with a single compact model that would almost certainly be offered as a hatchback and as a sedan. Jaguar's transformation into an electric-only manufacturer is allegedly the brainchild of Thierry Bollore, who will take the firm's reins in September. He recently led Paris-based Renault, which is also allocating huge resources to electrification. We know the next-generation XJ (shown in spy shots taken far north of the Arctic Circle) will be offered with an electric powertrain (though internal combustion variants will be available, too), and Auto Express learned an XE-sized battery-powered model placed in the Model 3's segment is very likely, too. Finally, at least for now, an electric SUV tentatively called J-Pace will reportedly enter production in the coming years. It's too early to tell what the future holds for the E-Pace, the F-Pace, and the XF, though we wouldn't be surprised if the latter does not get a replacement. Where the F-Type would fit in an electric-only range hasn't been decided yet; sealing its fate one way or another will be one of Bollore's first tasks.

SVR plans to tune electrified Jaguar-Land Rover models, but not the I-Pace

Sun, May 24 2020

Jaguar-Land Rover's SVR division has only put its name on high-horsepower gasoline-burning cars, like the XE Project 8 built in strictly limited numbers. It's open to the idea of tuning electrified models, whether they're electric or hybrid, but it confirmed it's not currently planning on making a spicier evolution of the I-Pace. "We will be developing electrified versions of our cars, be that fully electrified or plug-in hybrids," affirmed Michael van der Sande, the division's managing director, in an interview with Auto Express. But although the electric I-Pace (pictured) raced in a one-make race series held on the sidelines of Formula E events for two seasons, and SVR could credibly claim to inject track DNA into a street car, it stressed the I-Pace doesn't appear in its product plans for reasons that remain a little bit murky. Jaguar announced the end of the eTrophy series in May 2020, which might explain why it's reluctant to exploit racing's marketing power. "There are other various things we are working on which we can't talk about, but we're very interested in electrification. That's why we got involved in eTrophy," van der Sande clarified. "The technology transfer, the learning applies to that car and other cars but we're not planning an SVR I-Pace at the moment." His comments confirm we'll need to be patient to see what SVR's take on an electric or hybrid car looks like. One of the first electrified models to receive the go-fast treatment might be the next-generation XJ tentatively scheduled to make its debut before the end of 2020. It will be exclusively electric, though it won't look as radical as the I-Pace, so Jaguar will need to find a way to replace the hot-rodded XJR 575 model it positioned at the top of the last-generation model's line-up. It's not too far-fetched to speculate the next Range Rover also due out in the coming months will receive some degree of electrification, and it could spawn an SVR-tuned model, too. Related Video:   Â
